Resting at night plays an important role in regulating your daily health and your level of energy throughout a day. Also, not only the quantity but the quality of sleep is also important for a healthy lifestyle. Bedtime habits do play a vital role in shaping up your lifestyle and personality as a whole. Here are many lifestyle habits that can help you to get sound sleep. 1. Make regular and a fixed sleep pattern: Going to sleep and waking up the same time every day helps to maintain an equilibrium in the sleep-wake cycle called diurnal rhythm. If this balance is maintained, then your body will be accustomed to this pattern and as a result, you will feel less tired and fresh throughout the day 2. Maintain a definite dietary regulation: You should also maintain a proper diet plan and observe the consequences/effects of the foods that you are eating and the fluids that you are drinking on your sleep pattern. Taking a good and properly nutritious diet on a daily basis will help you to stay healthy and help your natural sleep-wake cycle. 3. Ensure that your room has mild or dim lighting or darkness if you prefer: The level of light also matters at the time of your sleep. You should definitely make sure that there is a very minimal level of light or darkness around you when you try to sleep. This should be done because the lesser is the light, the more comfortable you are while sleeping. Additionally, the sleep that you will get in a dark room will also be sound and undistorted as it helps keep all the sensory organs calm. 4). Do some relaxing activities before bedtime: Depending on your choice, you should follow simple techniques of relaxation in order to calm down the brain before sleep. Like mediation, Yoga or- deep breathing exercise, muscle relaxing activity, visualizing a peaceful setting/ scenario like a calm garden or beach or mountain area. These activities are just guidelines and you can do anything that helps you to get a relaxing mood and sleep. 5). Avoid daytime naps if you can , But Having short naps of less than one hour is absolutely okay if you are excessively tired during the day or you did not have a sound sleep the previous night. But, if you are consistently having long naps during the day then you are bound to have sleep issues during the night. So it is advisable to sleep early and wake up early for a healthy schedule. 6) Regular exercise: Exercising regularly helps to improve the overall quality of sleep by making you tired at night and sending you to bed more efficiently. Light to mild exercises also helps cure sleep disorders like insomnia. 10 Natural Depression Treatments Being depressed can make you feel helpless. But Along with therapy and sometimes medication, there's a lot you can do on your own to fight back. Changing your behaviour – your physical work, lifestyle, and even your way of thinking -- are all natural depression treatments .these tips can help you feel better -- starting right now. 1. Try not to nap. Take all the distractions out of your bedroom -- no computer and no TV. In time, you may find your sleep improves. 6. Take on responsibilities. When you’re depressed, you may want to pull back from life and give up your responsibilities at home and at work. Staying involved and having daily responsibilities can work as a natural depression treatment. They ground you and give you a sense of accomplishment. If you're not up to full-time school or work, that’s fine. Think about part-time. If that seems like too much, consider volunteer work. 7. Challenge negative thoughts. In your fight against depression, a lot of the work is mental -- changing how you think. When you're depressed, you leap to the worst possible conclusions. You might feel like no one likes you, but is there real evidence for that? You might feel like the most worthless person on the planet, but is that really likely? It takes practice, but in time you can beat back those negative thoughts before they get out of control. 8. Check with your doctor before using supplements. Always check with your doctor before starting any supplement, especially if you’re already taking medications 9. Do something new. When you’re depressed, you’re in a rut. Try to have fun. If you’re depressed, make time for things you enjoy. What if nothing seems fun anymore? "That's just a symptom of depression," You have to keep trying anyway. As strange as it might sound, you have to work at having fun. Plan things you used to enjoy, even if they feel like a chore. Keep going to the movies. Keep going out with friends for dinner. When you're depressed, you can lose the knack for enjoying life, you have to relearn how to do it. In time, fun things really will feel fun again.

Dear lybrate-user, Psoriasis is genetic disorder triggered due to stressful conditions and irregular life style. Psoriasis has three stages. First stage is when disease remain on skin and there are scaly patches. Second stage comes when there is pitting on nails and in last stage it enter the joints and there is pain in small joints. Generally patient use steroidal application on patches which give temporary relief and disease reappear after 2/3 days. In severe cases methotrexate is used which is not a safer option and is liver toxic. Ayurveda has got a complete remedy for psoriasis. It is a safer option and can be used for longer duration without any side effects. This is inadequate information rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Physiotherapy usually helps any way take paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. It may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Kindly do not ignore it. If the pneumonia was cured without leaving any signs or scars in lungs, then you carry the same risk as any other person to get pneumonia after 40 years.

Hello, you will have to take antiviral drugs for chicken pox. Chicken pox is infectious in the first 24-30 hours, post that it is not contagious. So if you are out of that time frame, then nothing can be done. But nevertheless, use different towels and napkins till the time you have chicken pox.

Stretching exercises, when erect just pull it back as far as it will go and hold for 5 mins. Do this a few times daily. In the shower helps, and you should see results within days/weeks. Could also try, if its possible to pull back a bit, pull it back, grab the glans (top cap of penis) with two fingers and roll the foreskin up over the two fingers as far as it will go (when the ring of skin turns white). Hold it there for 5 mins. Lubricant helps with this. It's fairly common, and this should help. Also try rubbing vitamin e (add few drops of olive oil) around the top and inside the foreskin, which may help elasticate it. If it's more serious, you may need a preputialplasty (alternative to circumcision but with no loss of looks, senstivity or anything, and is less painful with a fast recovery rate. With a preputialplasty: they make a small incision vertically then horizontally in your foreskin, and stitch it up to have more space for your glans to appear without a total circumcision-------------------. But try to solve your problem with exercise for 5 minutes daily-------------i think it will be ok.
