HI Lybrate USER…. 1) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods…. 2) avoid late night sleeping habits …sleep upto 10-10.30 pm…. 3) avoid coffee and tea…. A) take 2 tsf of SHATAVARI KALP with 250 ml of lukewarm water, in the morning instead of break fast…B) take 60 ml of triphala juice along with 15 ml of honey and 1-1 tablet of VASANTKUSUMAKAR RASA and MOUTIKYUKTA KAMDUDHA VATI at night before sleep…. C) take 10 gm of FENNEL SEEDS along with 10 gm jiggery after meals…D) eat 4-5 seeds of ALMONDS during meals…do all these things for 30 days…it gives you good result…. The best way to rule out any underlying problem is to get full body check up done first and then if there is no problem in reports, focus on exercising everyday and eat healthy food.

The key is to eat in moderation at regular intervals, and not to starve yourself. Start your day with a good and healthy breakfast like a cereal and milk combination for e. G oats/ dalia porridge with low fat milk or curd. Between your lunch and breakfast you can have a light mid-morning snack, i. E, a fruit perhaps, and follow this by a balanced meal in moderate quantity for lunch. Have plenty of vegetables which will keep you full and cut down on the amount of rice/ chapatis that you are having. Also cut down on your fat intake and reduce oil in cooking. Avoid fast food, junk food, sugary food and soft drinks. Along with this, do not forget to exercise regularly.

Hello Sir, You can eat about 8-10 raisins. Eating too many raisins will increase your blood glucose levels. Drinking coconut water once in a while is Ok, but not daily. I hope this answer has helped you Thank you.

If your tsh levels are normal now, you have to concentrate on doing regular exercise for more than 1 hour daily. Brisk walking could be a good one or if you can join a gym do that and exercise under instructions. Secondly reduce your food intake by at least 20 % of whatever you are taking now. This schedule has to be followed meticulously. You can aim at reducing about 2 kg per month. Eat a balanced diet, avoid sweets, sugar, deep fried foods, if non vegetarian avoid red meat. Take more green salads. Hypothyroidism is a condition which has no cure except taking thyroxine tabs for life.

Its summer time and most of us feel tired, irritable, hungry and short tempered aftet doing a little work, this is due to physical and mental exhausation of energy which happens in dry and hot weather, to prevent yourself from these symptoms you need to get sufficent energy from healthy source which keeps you alert and productive all the time.
Eating juicy and colourful fruit between your main meals keeps you hydrated all the time. So dont forget to take 2 different colored fruits in a day.

My skin, hair looks unhealthy. Hair fall is there. My bones are not strong. My hand and thighs are thinner. please help.

Have a calcium and iron rich choice consume protein rich food drink lot of water do little exercise too start your day with one amla and a handful of nuts get a diet chart for calcium rich food consume milk with 4 cashewnuts atleast two times in a day

Mr. M s sodhi, you have mentioned fasting sugar level as 130 - 180 mg, which appears pretty high. What is the recent pp level? hba1c% looks good. When does the sugar level go down is there a specific pattern or time of the day? your lipid profile details are not given fully. Important ones are total cholesterol, hdl, ldl and triglyceride, you have not mentioned those. Tsh level is also high, it should be below 5 mill units / ml. Are you taking any medications for hypothyroidism and dyslipidemia? plus also let me know your dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise. It will be better if you come in a private conversation with all the details, where I can give specific suggestions.

You can take 1 tablespoon of whey protein in a day if you gym regularly discontinue it if you stop gymming then take only high protein foods like all milk and milk products, eggs, pulses, sprouts, nuts etc. Which is always healthier way to gain weight naturally .whey protein will not give any side effect after discontinuing.

Hi, I can understand that weight gain is a big problem now a day. The main reason behind weight gain is eating more of the processed food, less of exercise and drinking less water. You observe the habit of yours, you will find that these three reasons. Hence to lose weight cutting on processed food, sugary food, drinking 3-4 liter of water daily and exercise for min of 30 min per day is essential. Balanced food is the key to long term weight loss. I can suggest a diet plan and some dietary supplement for quick weight loss. Sample Diet Plan Breakfast – green Juice. Lunch – vegetable pulao with pineapple fruits. Dinner – paneer with green salad. - there is excess fat deposited during pregnancy in the tummy. If you continue exclusive breastfeeding to your baby, it will burn that fat very fast. Also muscles of the tummy gets lax because of the growing fetus. To increase the tone of these abdominal muscles, you need to start brisk walk or jogging daily for 4-5 km and increase your protein intake. This will burn fat very fast reduce the size of your tummy. Also one can do exercises like sit-ups.
