I daily go to be bed around 8.30 PM and wake up at 4.50 AM. Most of the time I get up around 3.00 AM and then I am unable to get back to sleep but I still manage to get some sleep but it is a very disturbed sleep. In addition, I get dreams every day unconnected to my daily events. I do daily exercise at least for 40 mts and also do yoga for 20 mts everyday. I am a vegetarian, no smoking and no alcohol. My age is 60 and under no medication.

All foods are good if eaten at the right time and amount. Eat local and seasonal foods. Avoid intake of too much junk foods.

Hi, I am a 28 years old, male, obese person. In 22 years of age, I had a problem started, high bp. Doctor recomment me seloken xl 50 mg + amcard 5 twice daily. Few years back, due to high cost of medicine, I started using generic medicine which is metoprolol 50 mg (for seloken xl 50 mg) + amlodipine 5 mg (for amcard 5). Are these generic medicines fine for me? other than this I started taking patanjali ayurvedic medicine divya mukta vati also.

Hello, body can balance upto 60% of water but extra water is urine out, moreover, water can not provide you fats to gain your weight. Tk care.

I started smoking couple of years back and I kinda lack power or a lot of energy and I easily get physically tired. I am a little overweight but healthy. It's just that I am not as powerful as I use to be 2 years back. I also got jaundice after that I have lost a lot of stamina. Any help as to what to do be back to life with full power.

You immunity has weakned. First of all start exercising daily and eat a very healthy diet. Also include some health supplements like a multivitamin with the breakfast that will keep you energetic whole day.

I am on birthcontrol pills since 7 months. I have been taking these pills because of my heavy pain during periods. I am underweight too. I have been told that these pills will help me to increase my weight. But I see no changes. I am not facing any other side effect of birthcontrol pills. If I stop using this now will I gain weight?

To increase weight your diet has to be well balanced. Add banana paneer eggs chicken or fish, nuts and dryfruits in your diet. Eat frequent meals. drink atleast 3ltrs of water.Drink warm milk with 4 dates before bedtime. this shud help you gain weight

Hi for reduced weight you should work out as per you consume calories and it will take time just continue work out. Take following remedies for loosing weight 1. Arogya vardhini vati 2 tab before lunch and dinner 2. Abhayarishta 4 tsp before lunch nad dinner 3. Morning break fast=mung dal green soup 1 boul and if feel hunger have pomegranate or apple 4. Lunch 2 chaati + fruit vegetable + if you like rice 1 bowl and dal + barley soup 5. Evening 4-5 pm have some milk with sunth or any fruit you like 6. Dinner barley soup 2 bowl and one fruit follow this diet you will get reduced weight.

Hi lybrate-user Everyone wants to reduce fat from some or other part of the body. And the most common problem area is the tummy. Here are 6 tips to keep in mind while you’re worrying about your belly fat: 1. Before you target your tummy fat, try to lose the extra fat around your abs by doing cardiovascular exercises that engage multiple muscles. Try circuit training that burns higher amount of calories in a shorter period. 2. There is no such thing as spot reduction when you have a lot of weight to lose. Instead, try to lose some weight, and once you are thin enough, focus on particular areas to get better results. 3. Get more sleep. If you’re not getting enough sleep and only concentrating on the exercises, you’ll end up over-exhausting yourself. This will do more harm than good. You will end up eating more to fight the lethargic feeling. Try to get at least 6-8 hours of sleep per night in order to win in the fight against belly fat. 4. Eat less sugar and calories. Belly fat is easily reduced with a controlled diet. Try to include more protein and fiber rich vegetables that will keep you full for longer, resulting in less snacking between meals. 5. Both body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, squats and weight training in the gym is helpful. 5. Stay hydrated. 6. Have a light dinner. 7. Evening walk is always recommended. 8. There is no permanent cure for filaria. The damage done is done. For acute attack however, a stat dose of albendazole and ivermectin is helpful. Some people also favour a tab, doxycycline course for 6-8 weeks. Meet a nearby physician to decide on which course to take.

It may be due to mild stroke or something called as compartment syndrome due to local inflammation/arthritis in that area. See a neurologist soon for an evaluation.

Dear, you will definitely get more stamina by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. * very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time * drink atleast 2 litres of water daily. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. Then slowly walk fast and slowly start running. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can do surya namaskar yogasan daily to improve your stamina under the guidance of yoga expert.
