Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold). Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment knee is applied warm water followed by the immediate application of the knee with ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation.

I am 64 years. For the last 2 years I am not able to walk continuously as I stared severe pain in the hip bone on the right side. After resting for few minutes pain subsides. I have tried with ayurvedic oil and exercise on cycle. But there is no improvement. Can you suggest how do I about. I am hectic business traveler.

1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Learn spinal exercises and knee exercises. 3. Don't sit on floor. 4. Don't lift heavy things. 5. Don't do forward bending. 6. Do hot fermentation twice a day. 7. Apply volini cream before sleeping. 8. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum.

I am 37 years male and I have a problem of neck pain which transfers in to headache which is unbearable?

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Sciatica refers to pain that begins in the hip and buttocks and continues all the way down the leg. I have very Joint Pain & when a I stretch my leg or Hand it creates sound. Don't know why. I take Shelcal Calcium Tablet. But did not cure.

Eat fatty fish, like tuna, mackerel, and salmon foods fortified with vitamin d, like some dairy products, orange juice, soy foods that provide vitamin d= milk, and cereals cheese egg yolks to get vitamin d from food, fish is a good option. Six ounces of cooked salmon has more than 600 international units (iu). Eggs are a great source of vitamin d, with two large eggs providing about one-tenth of a daily dose of vitamin d. Soymilk is also an excellent option, with up to 300 ius per cup. Mushroom is the only vegetable which is a natural source of vitamin d. Follow this diet take care.
