Braces are of 3 types: 1. Metal brackets: visible brackets 2. Ceramic brackets: tooth coloured brackets with a stainless steel wire running between them. 3. Lingual brackets: stays inside the mouth, behind the teeth. Not visible outside.

You should go for scaling and also get blood scan done. Also bleeding gums are multifactorial from malnutrition to myriad reasons. So a good consultation is a must

Know About Flossing

Flossing is an essential part of maintaining oral hygiene. Oral water flossers are now available to make flossing more convienient and regular. The pulsating function of the water flossers help with dislodging the plaque formed in between your teeth and keeping your gums healthy.

Whenever I eat some tough food like mutton or chicken for continuously 2-3 times, both sides of my molar teeth starts paining. It automatically lasts if I take normal food for 2-3 days. This condition starts from last 2 months. However, I brush my teeth twice daily and I didn't see any cavities in my teeth. please suggest remedies.

teeth pain can be due to decay or fractured teeth, gum infection or sensitivity. get your teeth x-rayed n go for needful treatment. for decay, you might require rct n cap or removal n replacement by implants or bridge. for gum infection, go for scaling and polishing of teeth. for sensitivity, use desensitizing toothpaste twice daily.

Which is better. Tooth implant or tooth bridge. What is the cost for bridge per tooth and implant per tooth? Regards.

Hello Lybrate user, both implant and bridge can be a good option to replace missing teeth but it is difficult to tell which is better. Both of them are done for selected cases and have their own advantage. In smokers or diabetic individual or any patient with poor oral hygiene I will not suggest implant because the chances of failure is more. Bridge is a safer option in such cases and chances of failure is less. Hope this helps.

Hello ok see this means that your m2 can be saved by root canal treatment and m1 can be saved by simple filling. So go ahead start your treatment before m1 also gets infected.
