Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana.

Hello, tk homoeo medicine for your back pain @ rhus tox 200-6 pills, thrice dly. @ arnica mont 200-6 pills, thrice a day. Go for aerobic exercise to make your back muscle flexible to ease your back ache. Consult a physiotherapist. Tk care.

it may gas distention trouble due to indigestion. have simple bland food (Khichadi) for next few days avoiding junk, oily, spicy fried and deep-fried food items. drink lot of water. Reduce intake of tea – coffee. Instead u can have green tea. U may drink milk (room temperature). dont lye-down or sit immediately after having meals. have a walk instead. maintain good bowel habits. for gas some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold foementation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumber support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. I have tremendous high back pain, in lower back. There is no finding in mri and xrays, now I have found the problem, that my hamstring mussules are very tight, is ther any medicine for the hamstring mussules releasing. Can I clear this problem by accupuncture treatment or else. Kindly suggest.

What is the reason behind the swollen of tail bone and quite often it keeps paining as well.
It may be because of some trauma. Whatever the reason, treatment remains same. You need to use ring cushion. Avoid sitting on hard surface. Follow this for 1 year. Don't even try to see if you still have pain or not till then.

Hi i Am 49 years old. After running 2 miles I used to do bab ramdev's few exercises to reduce stomach and side fats. That is raising the legs and making a big o like 360 dgree. Once perhaps I had a twist and not able to do it. Not able to properly raise the leg. If I apply force it gives pain near thigh joint right side. Three months I discontinued that exercise and now became obese. Stomach which was under control, now came out. Please advise. I do seating job. Please advise me. Thought it would go away. But am not able to do exercise.

As you twist pl do have clinically examined by musculskelotal physiotherapist or orthopadician asap to rule any stain or sprain in the hip joint and femur bone or if there is any vascularitis etc, so before that don't attempt any exercise as it may worsen the conditions if any best wishes.

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

Take rest properly. Avoid prolonged sitting and standing. Avoid forward bending and lifting. Do spinal strengthening exercises. Take hot fermentation. Consult any best orthopedic. If no progress.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise. Hamstring stretching towel hamstring stretch lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated hamstring stretch while sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds repeat 3 times for each leg.

Dear, Osteoarthritis is age-related wear and tear of your joints and is expected with aging in almost everyone. Most of older gentlemen have weakness of the muscles around the knee -the quadriceps, hamstrings and calf muscles. That adds up to the strain on the knees and increases the pain. The treatment is multidirectional. Avoid climbing up and downstairs, low dose pain killers (as advised by your family practitioner) will reduce your acute pain. Do not squat for your toilet. Use the higher (western) commode. Start on a few sessions of physiotherapy to strengthen your muscles. Make a practice of regular walking. If pain is excessive make use of a walking stick support.
