I would say you need to get your liver function tests done. If they are normal, you need to do daily exercise and get liver function test and usg every 6 monthly. You need to start taking precaution. Remember fatty liver can progress to cirrhosis and liver failure if not taken care. No medications available but regular exercise can surey help.

Have you ruled out heart conditions? Then get treated for hiatus hernia and gastritis. Reduce stress, sleep well, work less. You probably need the change in lifestyle.

Hi YES you should take these medications and You need to understand about high blood pressure.  Normal range of blood pressure is between 90/60 to 140/90, anything above or below is is abnormal. Many factors can affect blood pressure, including: 1) The amount of water and salt you have in your body 2) The condition of your kidneys, nervous system, or blood vessels 3) Your hormone levels You are more likely to be told your blood pressure is too high as you get older. This is because your blood vessels become stiffer as you age. When that happens, your blood pressure goes up. High blood pressure increases your chance of having a stroke, heart attack, heart failure, kidney disease, or early death. DASH stands for Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. It is an eating plan that is based on research studies sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI). These studies showed that DASH lowers high blood pressure and improves levels of cholesterol. This reduces your risk of getting heart disease. The DASH Diet Emphasizes vegetables, fruits, and fat-free or low-fat dairy products. Includes whole grains, fish, poultry, beans, seeds, nuts, and vegetable oils. Limits sodium, sweets, sugary beverages, and red meats. Along with DASH, other lifestyle changes can help lower your blood pressure. They include staying at a healthy weight, exercising, and not smoking. I read your query, by the information I have in hand my advice to you would be 1) Keep a BP daily record for at least one week 2) Basic tests should be one to rule out cardiac / kidney issues 3) unless any recent evaluation has been done I would advice these test ECG ECHO Lipid Profile TSH KFT  Renal doppler  Get back to me with a detailed history and  old / new records for a better individualized advice. Depending on your profession, your eye condition may get altered. Eye problems arising due to high BP usually get reversed after proper and complete treatment for high BP is initiated. It is better to get a complete eye evaluation done to make sure that some other condition is not missed.

High cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take green veg., whole grain.garlic,. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

Peripheral Artery Disease - How Can It Be Diagnosed & Treated?

Peripheral Artery Disease - How Can It Be Diagnosed & Treated?

Peripheral artery disease is a condition brought about by the partial blocking of the main arteries that carry pure blood from the heart to the different parts of the body. When the block occurs or when the flow of blood is restricted, then the functions are directly affected since they may not receive sufficient blood at regular intervals. The most frequently observed form of the peripheral artery disease is the feeling of pain in the legs while walking.

Though it is in the legs that most people seem to find the pain initially, there are other parts of the body like the arms, stomach, head and even the kidneys. As mentioned, the trouble starts when the body is not able to burn enough fat and it deposits itself in the inside walls of the blood vessels leading to these cramp like conditions. These deposits are also known as plaques. Within the medical field, the peripheral artery disease can also be identified or called by other names such as Atherosclerosis or peripheral vascular disease and so on.

Diagnosis of the disease
As with any health condition, the specialist will do a physical examination of the part which you complain is giving you the pain and will ask you a series of questions regarding your personal details, family history and any previous complaints of this sort or of different nature. The best way the doctors would confirm if it is a peripheral artery disease is by a process called ankle-brachial index. This involves finding the differential between the pressure of the blood in your body, in the arms which are closer to the heart, and the legs the farthest. This could reveal to the doctor if the rate of flow of blood to the farthest part like the feet is the same as to the arms. If the doctor finds a substantial difference in the blood circulation, then the doubt increases. The advanced diagnostic tests needed to confirm a case of peripheral artery disease include the Doppler and Ultrasound tests, Angiography and Magnetic resonance Angiography (MRA). These tests will give conclusive evidence to the doctor that it is indeed a case of peripheral artery disease.

Treatment for Peripheral Artery Disease
There are different ways in which the peripheral artery disease can be countered. One way is to change the lifestyle and food habits of the affected person. Since it is obvious that the deposition of plaque from the fatty foods consumed by the person is responsible for the condition, merely stopping the consumption of such items can have a salutary effect. Other steps like quit smoking, if you were into this bad habit, exercising regularly and taking suitable medication as prescribed can treat the condition. In severe cases, procedures like Angioplasty might have to be performed.
