Measuring cholesterol is very popular but not helpful. Taking medicines for cholesterol is very popular but not healthy. Suggest discuss healthy living with people who are ninety and healthy. Why depend on any other way. Best wishes.

Good to know that reports are normal. High blood pressure can be controlled by safe medicines and modification of lifestyle It's not cured but controlled Visit your doctor and ask for safer medicines like betablockers which can be used for people with normal blood pressure because these medicines are protecting the heart and brain from attack and stroke. Reduce salt intake Reduce stress and anxiety related issues with the help of yoga and meditation Reduce bad fats Reduce weight by eating more of seasonal vegetables and fruits Take care Medicines for blood pressure are like wearing spectacles due to bad eyesight.

high cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take green veg., whole grain. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

I am suffering from acidity and my chest pains suddenly and my back too apart that I have hairfall problem.
Dear lybrateuser, -for acidity problem avoid spicy, fried & junk foods, have 4-5 small meals rather than having three large ones, have snack in between the main meals to reduce acid secretion, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime, do not lye down immediately after meals -have 8-10 glasses of water per day to wash away the toxins & for proper digestion -have tablet pan 40, 1 tab half an hour before breakfast once a day -for hairfall apply a ketoconazole containing shampoo every alternate day -have a well balanced diet with more of fruits & vegetables for the essential vitamins & minerals -do regular exercise for good blood circulation -reduce stress in daily life, sleep well for 7-8 hrs at night.
