Hye, thanks for the query. You need to work on your diet to improve your health and digestion. Being underweight can be a concern if it's the result of poor nutrition. Here are some healthy ways to gain weight when you're underweight: eat more frequently. When you're underweight, you may feel full faster. Eat five to six smaller meals during the day rather than two or three large meals. Choose nutrient-rich foods. As part of an overall healthy diet, choose whole-grain breads, rice and cereals; fruits and vegetables; dairy products; lean protein sources; and nuts. Don't fill up on diet soda, coffee and other drinks with few calories and little nutritional value. Instead, drink smoothies or healthy shakes. Snack on nuts, dried fruits and fresh fruits. Even when you're underweight, be mindful of excess sugar and fat. An occasional slice of cake or ice cream is fine. But most sweets should be healthy and provide nutrients in addition to calories. Sheera, lassi and chikki are good choices. Exercise, especially strength training, can help you gain weight by building up your muscles. Exercise may also stimulate your appetite. Go very slow and gradual in improving your diet, one day at a time.

Hye Thanks for the query. Taking whey will not solve your VitaminB12 deficiency. Also just because you go to the gym you don't need to take protein supplements. Protein rich diet is good enough. Supplementation with protein is only done if you are into serious training and your workout is intense. Vitamin B-12 is mostly available only in animal foods: meat, fish, poultry, eggs, and dairy products. You can also get this important nutrient in some nutritional yeasts, as well as from fortified cereals and soy milk. Vegans need to take a vitamin-B supplement daily. You can add fermented foods like idli or dosa or sprouts to improve Vitamin B12 in your diet too. Dairy like curd or buttermilk are helpful in improving the gut bacteria as they help too.

I am vipul and my age is 21, For about 1 weeks now I have been experiencing difficulty sufficiently breathing, especially at night. It's a sensation that I can only describe as a feeling of not being able to get enough air in my lungs or 'a tightness in my chest/airways. It's still apparent during the day but worsens by night. I also have a dry cough accompanied by wheeziness when I inhale and I feel like I might need to phlegm but it hardly ever comes out. On the rare occasions that I do actually phlegm; it's mostly clear and rather sticky.

Hi take ginger tea mixed with 2-3 crushed garlic cloves. Massaging the chest with warm sesame oil mixed with salt helps to loosen the phlegm deposited in the chest, especially, when followed with steam inhalation. Take shwas kuthar ras twice a day. Pranacharya asthamin capsule 1-1 twice a day. And pranacharya shwas vikarasav 2-2 tsf twice a day. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. Take hot water steam.

1. Avoid outside spicy and fried food. 2. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. 3. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. 4. Small and frequent meals is of help 5. Chew your food properly at time of lunch and dinner. 6. Keep your blood sugar controlled. 7. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. 8. Get your gastroendoscopy/USG done. 9. Tab Pantium-l 1 tab empty stomach.

It is High. You have to take medicine. Consult Diabetologist with fasting and PP blood sugar report. Along with medicine, Diet control, weight reduction and regular exercise is important. She has to strictly follow Diabetic diet after consulting Dietician

You maybe suffering from a common cold or another viral fever. You maybe suffering from allergic rhinitis and pharyngitis. You need to avoid the cause of your allergies and also take anti allergy medications. Please consult for prescription. If you have an infection and have fever you will need to do a course of antibiotics. For now do warm saline gargle and steam inhalation 3 times a day.

Hi lybrate-user, wet dreams have serious health implications in some people. They are sometimes a symptom of weakness and infection of the urogenital system. Acute cases of night emissions lead automatic emissions at any time. Frequent and acute cases of nightfall require immediate medical attention. Men should learn how to stop nightfall to avoid its effects. Some of the effects of excessive nightfall include physical and sexual weakness, premature ejaculation, and a low sperm count. Do the following: 1. Use bottle gourd juice bottle gourd juice cools your system and helps you stop nightfall. There're two ways that bottle gourd juice can help with your condition. One is that you can prepare and take half a glass of the juice just before going to bed. Alternatively, you can mix bottle gourd juice with sesame oil and then use the mixture to massage your scalp. 2. Try gooseberry another useful tip on how to stop nightfall is taking gooseberry juice before going to bed on a daily basis. Take sage tea taking at least two cups of sage tea every day reduces your chances of experiencing nightfall. Take sage tea first thing in the morning and just before you go to bed. Sage tea has other health benefits as well. 7. Eat pomegranate pomegranate is one of the popular remedies for nightfall. The fruit improves blood circulation and acts as an antioxidant. Its role in promoting good blood circulating helps you get hard erections. Eating pomegranate will help you stop nightfall within one or two months. 8. Take yogurt daily if you experience frequent wet dreams, take a big bowl of yogurt at least three times in a day. Yogurt has health benefits and reduces your chances of wet dreams. Identify the aspects of your lifestyle that lead to wet dreams and change or eliminate them. One of the lifestyle changes that can help you stop nightfall is stopping nasty fantasies from your thoughts. Avoid watching porn movies and nude photos. A healthy set of teeth is essential for good living. However, teeth problems are widespread and you are susceptible to it at any age, at any time. Though there are medications available for tooth problems, sometimes extraction of the tooth remains the only plausible solution. 

You may have to undergo tooth extraction for multiple reasons. Some of them are:

  1. Unaligned teeth: In case you are suffering from unaligned teeth, chances are that you may suffer from what in technical terms is known as "crowded mouth." In such a situation you have difficulty in eating as there is not enough room for the teeth in the mouth. Extraction of tooth, in this case, is the only way to rectify it and align the teeth in a better fashion.
  2. Infection: Sometimes if you suffer from a tooth infection, it tends to quickly spread to the pulp, affecting and damaging the blood vessels and different nerves. Though medications are available, if the intensity of the infection increases, extraction of tooth remains the only option.

Procedure: There are different steps that are involved in the extraction of teeth. They are:

  1. Local anesthesia: Like all other surgeries, administering a local anesthesia is the first step. If you are undergoing a tooth extraction, the dentist or the surgeon will inject anesthesia that will create numbness and soothe you of the ensuing pain.
  2. Cutting away gum and bone tissues: After the anesthesia, the dentist will proceed to extract the infected tooth. In order to do this, the doctor cuts away the gum and the tissues covering the tooth. After the root of the infected tooth has been exposed, the dentist would then with the help of forceps, sever it from the jaw.

After the surgery, you must observe certain precautions to expedite the recovery process. Some of them are:

  1. Take painkillers: After the tooth extraction, the possibility of suffering from an ensuing pain is incredibly high. Therefore, in most cases the dentist prescribes certain painkillers and you must take them regularly.
  2. Change the dressing: The operated area will be covered with bandages to preclude any infection. However, the dressing must be changed from time to time. If the same dressing remains for a long time, chances of an infection increase.
  3. Complete rest: After the extraction, you must take complete rest and not engage in any form of physical activity.
  4. Avoid certain foods: Just after the surgery, the operated area remains tender. Therefore, you must eat food that requires less effort to chew like soup, pudding, ice cream etc. You must also abstain from smoking and drinking for some time.

A) Eat 30-40 black currants and 1 tsf of jiggery during meals… B) Take 200 ml of fresh butter milk with pinch of saindhav lavan after meals… C) take 30 ml of aamla juice along with 15 ml of honey in morning on empty stomach D) take fresh juice of beet or pomegranate in morning instead of breakfast…do all these things for 15 days…gives you good result…THANKS.

may be it is due to hormonal imbalance but for confirm pregnancy do rine pregnancy test done.if,test will negative then wait for 5-6 days because some time emergency contraception pills cause delayed menses.

You should avoid chapati in jaundice. Take boiled rice with sugar, sugarcane juice, carrot juice green boiled vegetable and Liv. 52 only . You should take precautions and rest.

Hello, smoking is bad habit you should not smoke, but you have to leave this gradually. If you left suddenly so you have face these problems. Take some multivitamins and some chewing gums. Orbit or happydent to avoid smoking.
