Dear lybrate-user, The best possible and feasible treatment would be gentle massage over knees with lukewarm herbal pain relieving oils daily for about 15-20 minutes and hot fomentation afterwards will greatly help in subsiding the pain. Ayurveda’s Panchakarma offers specialized treatment of JANU BASTI for knee pains - these procedures would give strength to your knee and reduce the pain and stiffness. Regular oiling the joint will improve the lubrication also. Use knee caps over the joints and avoid over exertion of the joint. Avoid sitting crossed legs. This will greatly help.

apply volini gel on neck, do warm fomentation. avoid high pillow. do neck exercises in pain free period.. doexercise in all four planes, right , left , up and down. it will help you.

Without medicine proper solution is hot water bath, turmeric and milk drink, stretching and physiotherapy and Yoga postures.

Please specify which part of the foot are you talking about, is it forefoot with involved toes, mid foot or the hind foot with heels as a main cause of pain because there are different causes of pain in different regions of the foot. Also can you kindly specify whether there are any s/s of inflammation or infection like swelling, skin redness or any local warmth on touch? has he ever got his uric acid levels tested? do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hi Ayyaswamy your wife has osteoarthritis. The diagnosis needs to confirmed. If in fact she has osteoarthritis then she needs to be assessed for comorbidities and needs to be put on an intensive exercise program with control of pain using safe pain modfiying medications instead of pain killers. When I use my righthand for cutting vegetables etc my side elbow pains considerably. What should I do.

Hi looks like you have tendonitis. 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain inflammation 4) exercise and manual therapy will help in pain free movement. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Hi. All your problems are due to stretching of the muscles for long durations due to long drive on bike. Apply Rumalaya liniment and massage for 10 mins and give hot water fomentation. This can be done thrice daily. If the pain is severe, take tab. Yogaraja guggulu 1-1-1 with hot water after food. Use soft medium sized pillow while sleeping. Perform neck exercises for 10 mins in the morning and evening regularly.

Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

when we sleep, our foot are in plantar flexion (downward) and calf muscle have shorten at that time, so you much work out for calf muscle like stretching exercise not so hardly and warm fomentation you need for thrice time a day (alternate days for 12 days). see the result
