I had a partial ligament ACL tear around 10 months back, I had consulted a physiotherapist although it has recovered but I still have pain while doing any physical activity. Is it advisable to wear a knee cap and if yes please suggest which one to purchase.

Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Have cervical and lumbar pain, give some advice for type 2 diabetes and pain and stiffness in leg.
Hello, as regards diabetes it is essential to control blood sugar as close as possible to normal. Fasting should be around 100 mg, pp should be 150 to 160 mg and hba1c% <7 (ideally <6.8%). About cervical and lumbar pain it is better to consult an orthopedician and get it assessed/ if certain physiotherapy is suggested then that should be followed. Most often certain exercises do help in improving those conditions. Even effectively controlling diabetes also improves those conditions considerably.
