I'm 30 years old I have an anxiety problem. I feel my hearts sometimes beats very fast and sometimes very slow.

Psychologist, Lucknow
I'm 30 years old I have an anxiety problem. I feel my hearts sometimes beats very fast and sometimes very slow.
Hi, Have you been diagnosed with anxiety? When you're feeling anxious or stressed, these strategies will help you cope: Take a time-out. Practice yoga, listen to music, meditate, get a massage, or learn relaxation techniques. Stepping back from the problem helps clear your head. Eat well-balanced meals. Do not skip any meals. Do keep healthful, energy-boosting snacks on hand. Limit alcohol and caffeine, which can aggravate anxiety and trigger panic attacks. Get enough sleep. When stressed, your body needs additional sleep and rest. Exercise daily to help you feel good and maintain your health. Check out the fitness tips below. Take deep breaths. Inhale and exhale slowly. Count to 10 slowly. Repeat, and count to 20 if necessary. Do your best. Instead of aiming for perfection, which isn't possible, be proud of however close you get. Accept that you cannot control everything. Put your stress in perspective: Is it really as bad as you think? Welcome humor. A good laugh goes a long way. Maintain a positive attitude. Make an effort to replace negative thoughts with positive ones. Get involved. Volunteer or find another way to be active in your community, which creates a support network and gives you a break from everyday stress. Learn what triggers your anxiety. Is it work, family, school, or something else you can identify? Write in a journal when you’re feeling stressed or anxious, and look for a pattern. Talk to someone. Tell friends and family you’re feeling overwhelmed, and let them know how they can help you. Talk to a physician or therapist for professional help. For the biggest benefits of exercise, try to include at least 2½ hours of moderate-intensity physical activity (e. G. Brisk walking) each week, 1¼ hours of a vigorous-intensity activity (such as jogging or swimming laps), or a combination of the two. 5 X 30: Jog, walk, bike, or dance three to five times a week for 30 minutes. Set small daily goals and aim for daily consistency rather than perfect workouts. It's better to walk every day for 15-20 minutes than to wait until the weekend for a three-hour fitness marathon. Lots of scientific data suggests that frequency is most important. Find forms of exercise that are fun or enjoyable. Extroverted people often like classes and group activities. People who are more introverted often prefer solo pursuits. Distract yourself with an iPod or other portable media player to download audiobooks, podcasts, or music. Many people find it’s more fun to exercise while listening to something they enjoy. Recruit an “exercise buddy.” It's often easier to stick to your exercise routine when you have to stay committed to a friend, partner, or colleague. Be patient when you start a new exercise program. Most sedentary people require about four to eight weeks to feel coordinated and sufficiently in shape so that exercise feels easier.

Today morning, my sister's menses has started. After that she started feeling uneasy. Then pain in and around stomach and also she was having difficulty in breathing. What is the cause for it?

Today morning, my sister's menses has started. After that she started feeling uneasy. Then pain in and around stomach...
If breathing difficulty is during the pain only, without any previous asthma or heart problem, then simple pain killers will work well. If she is feeling weak and also getting fainting attacks, she should see a doctor to check her BP and pulse. Usually pain coming with normal periods coming in time, will be severe on the first 2 days. If it comes regularly every month, she will need an ultrasound and blood test like CA125. Best is to visit a GYN for correct diagnosis and treatment.

Hi doctor. What happens if masturbated 3-4 times a week? Any changes in appearance?

BHMS
Homeopath,
Hi doctor.
What happens if masturbated 3-4 times a week?
Any changes in appearance?
Dear lybrate user, masturbation should not be done for more than twice in a week. Sperm cells are being continuously produced inside human testis. A single sperm cell needs about 4 months to mature before being ejaculated. Masturbating ejaculates many mature as well as immature sperm & results in the temporary deficit of sperm count. This loss of sperm results in the increased production of sperm. A sperm is mainly made up of protein. An increased production of sperm count needs a steady supply of protein. This supply of protein is met from the amount of protein we intake daily. Over masturbation increases the rate of production of sperm to such extent that the demand for protein cannot be fulfilled naturally & it often results in breakdown of protein from muscle tissues. This breakdown of muscle tissues is externally manifested as fatigue, weakness etc.

My penis doesn't get 100% erection at the time of intercourse because I was used to masturbate a lot from the age of 12 and now I am 26 and some semen gets leaked at the time of urine from my penis please help me.

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. Masturbation is normal, natural and never unhealthy. Even animals do masturbate. As a human being, you are also an animal. Every animal has sexual instinct because they are designed to reproduce. Human being also has sexual instinct and therefore he needs to satisfy sexual instinct. Therefore, to satisfy sexual instinct, a man or woman, masturbates. In any case, masturbation is never unhealthy or will never affect your physical or sexual health or it cannot affect your future sex life and the ability to have children. Masturbation cannot affect your growth or cause pimples or cause hair fall or cause shrinkage of penis. You should try to reduce the masturbation frequency to thrice a week and continue masturbation. You can be sure; there are no side effects to masturbation if you are able to restrict it to thrice a week. I suggest online sex counseling and therapy. Semen seeping through penis after urination is common and it is not a problem at all. This is a natural body procedure whereby your body tries to evacuate the stored semen. Semen is produced within your body whenever you are sexually (even slightly) excited and is stored within your body. Now this stored semen is a waste product that your body wants to throw out. This is a natural process and you don't have any control over it. I also assure you that this is never unhealthy. Take care. Take care.

Sir my younger brother of age 21 has been suffered from abnormalities. When he was of 4 months he suffered from severe fever. My parents took it as a normal fever. But when it didn't get well they then took him to a nearby homeopathic doctor and the doctor distinguish it as pneumonia and told that they (my parents) took my brother to him so lately. Anyway he gave some medicines and my brother recovered but after that he improved very very slowly in his body growth and also mental growth. E.g. He walked very lately, became able to talk lately, even his tooth also grew lately according to his age. Likewise his mental condition, knowingness of all thing and mental maturity also developed very very lately. Now he has been able to have knowledge of much more things but still he has some abnormalities. With these he got very much anger and irritation of very little things. I want my brother to be a purely normal person like others. Those days we have not good financial condition for his treatment so we could not do his treatment with any psychiatrist. But now I am ready to do anything for him. Kindly show me the right path. Some says that mental illness is untreatable and psychiatrists only suggest medicines for long time of life. But still abnormalities don't disappear. Is it true? But I am requesting you kindly show me the right path that what should I really do to get my brother as a complete normal person. I am begging you sir.
