My wife aged 58 has lost interest in sex. She says this is not the age, we had enough. And I, 65, feel like having at least once a week.

This may be due to hormonal changes postmenopausal, at her age this may be normal so mutual understanding and respect can create better relationship as emotional bonding is most important.

We didn't have sex at all. And she never had sex in her entire life. She wants to have sex only after we get married. So I masturbated first and then I rubbed my fingers on her vagina for quite a long time. Maybe, I believe that the pre-cum/ pre ejaculate was on my fingers while I was rubbing her vagina. She is virgin and never had sex in her entire life. Should I give her a pill? Please HELP.

Hello. If there was no peno-vaginal penetrative intercourse then there is no requirement of emergency contraception (i pill). But in some instances the sperm can be transferred through other means of physical contact. I would recommend that you should not take risk and administer one dose of i-pill. Best of luck.

Hello- the most fertile period for pregnancy is the 14th days prior to the next menstrual cycle (if the cycle is fixed). Three days prior to and later to, that is 11th to 17th day before your next menses have maximum chances for the pregnancy.

I seem to have developed a bump near my vagina (not on it). My periods has not happened and has been a week since my date. Should I be worried? What does this bump mean? I am an active person, have not had sexual intercourse with anyone and have never had my periods delayed before.

Menses can be missed either because of hormonal changes or even stress or even if you have put on some weight in recent times then also menses can be missed. All these problems are temporary and menses will come on its own. You can wait for another 30 days before you can take tablet deviry to get menses. That vaginal bump is most likely to be bartholin cyst. Abscess more likely if there is pain. This need urgent attention by a gynecologist.

How to get rid of the pain in periods
The uterus gets swollen during the periods
Any solution to get rid of it.
Some pain, cramping, and discomfort during menstrual periods is normal. The medical term for painful menstruation is dysmenorrhea. Primary dysmenorrhea occurs in women who experience pain just before and during menstruation, but who are otherwise healthy. Women who have had normal periods that later become painful may have secondary dysmenorrhea. This condition is usually accompanied by a problem affecting the uterus or other pelvic organs. Home treatment= using a heating pad on your pelvic area or back massaging the abdomen taking a warm bath regular physical exercise eating light, nutritious meals practicing relaxation techniques or yoga taking vitamin b-6, vitamin b-1, vitamin e, omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, and magnesium supplements while reducing your intake of salt, alcohol, caffeine, and sugar to prevent bloating raising your legs or lying with your knees bent. If home treatment is not successful in relieving your menstrual pain, homeopathic treatment will give you best result without side effect.

Hello doc. My last period was 14th october. After that I got pregnant. Last saturday I went for an ultrasound and doc said your pregnancy looks like 6 weeks. According to my calculations it sud be 7th week. I came home. After 3 hours I suddenly started passing brown discharge. Panicked I immediately rushed to hospital. There my doc took 3 hrs more to attend. During that I once checked there was no bleeding. Bt before c checked my pad was wet with both brown and little red blood. C told me to get admitted. Said pregnancy is threatened. C gave me hope. Next day was sunday. Monday I had an ultrasound. She showed me and wat I noticed that wat I watched saturday now the shape of sac was smaller than half. Earlier also c did not find any heartbeat. C told me to see the sac leaving the line too. Bt c dint said it is miscarriage. Now also I am bleeding once ima day brown blood plus clots. C told me to repeat ultrasound after 10 days. Whats exactly happening. Its killing. Bt mentally. Physically there is no pain or sometimes mild like period. please help.

Hello, This is likely anembryonic gestation where foetal heart beat has not arrived yet which generally comes by 5-7 weeks. Max it can arrive by 9 weeks in cases of delayed ovulation, hence a repeat usg required after 10 days to reconfirm. If it doesn't arrive by then you would have to undergo a D&C.
