You are unnecessarily getting anxious. You both are young. There is on need to worry. If seeing a doctor helps you woth your anxiery then You may just go and consult a family physician to make sure your general health is okay. You have only tried once. Keep trying and soon you will succeed. Below are some tips for both your wife and you. Happy trying. Remember the more you are relax while having sex the better your chances. So enjoy and learn some scientific ways to increase your chances to get pregnant. For wife--- When you're trying to conceive, eat nutritious foods, maintain a healthy weight, get regular exercise, and try to kick any bad habits such as drinking or smoking. Limit your caffeine intake to less than 200 milligrams a day. Any more than that may contribute to fertility problems. The biggest secret to getting pregnant quickly is knowing when you ovulate (release an egg from your ovary). You ovulate only once each menstrual cycle, and there are just a few days during that time when it's possible to conceive. Knowing when you ovulate means that you and your partner can time intercourse to have the best chance of getting pregnant that cycle. You can use a few different methods to figure out when you ovulate. Google will help you with the tools to figure out your ovulation cycle. Once you know the timeframe your egg is likely to be released from your ovary, you can plan to have sex during your most fertile days, which is usually about three days before ovulation through the day you ovulate. You have a range of days for baby-making sex because sperm can survive for three to six days in your body. Where as your egg survives for only about a day. That means if you have sex on Sunday, sperm can survive in your fallopian tubes until Wednesday – or even as late as Saturday. If you're not sure when your fertile period will be, just have sex every other day. This means you'll have healthy sperm in your fallopian tubes whenever your egg gets released. Sperm have the best shot of fertilizing an egg when they're healthy, strong, and plentiful. Your husband can do several things to help: Cut back on alcohol. Studies show that drinking daily can lower testosterone levels and sperm counts, increasing the number of abnormal sperm. Skip chewing  tobacco and smoking. These can cause poor sperm function. Try to maintain a healthy weight. Obesity can lower sperm count and slow down sperm. Get enough of certain key nutrients – like zinc, folic acid, calcium, and vitamins C and D – that help create strong and plentiful sperms.  Hope this helps Wishing you very best.

What is the nutritional facts of 100gm soy vs 100gm mushroom. And which type of mushroom contains protien & does the ...
Mushrooms contain small amounts of protein, much less than soya. 100 gm soya contain aprox 21 gm of protein and 100 g mushroom contain aprox 3 gm of protein. Soya is pulse protein and mushroom is vegetable and it shows lots of nutritional value difference. You can't compare and you can take mushroom in moderate amount if you have any fungal infection then only you have to avoid the mushroom.

In summers I always face a sneezing problem that last for whole day. It happens only in summers. As soon as I open my eyes ib the morning. Sneezing starts. sometime dry nose come out with blood chips.

DORL, MBBS
ENT Specialist, Faridabad
Sneezing problem and allergies are due to most of the time by means of weather change and due to anatomical variation of the nose which leads to change in the aerodynamics of the nose hence leads to watery nose this most of the time is over snsitivity on nose to outer environment, and we consider this as allergy all the time. Sinus is a normal roomy structure around nasal cavity its infection called sinusitis, if a person suffering from nasal obstruction along with sinusits and mild to moderate nasal allergies it means most probably he is suffering from dns (deviated nasal septum. Nasal obstruction is because of the deviated portion of the nasal septum (this is the bony partition of the nose cavity. Allergies are because of the hampered muco-ciliary mechanism (normally mucus is produced in the nose to moisten our nose cavity, oral cavity, and help food bolus to move downward, this mucus is basically moves on the cilia of the nasal mucosa) this mechanism gets hampered and mucus start accumulating in the nose and sinus cavity which is why thick mucus comes from nose in patients of nose obstruction and person develops sinusiits. When a surgeon removes the nasal septum deviation has not been removed properly the symptoms persists, and patient thinks that the nose bone has again regrown. It is not because of regrowth but because of half surgery done or due to the non removal of the deviation (reason can be many) nowadays nasal septal deviation can be removed endoscopically. Everything is explained in this, I hope this will benefit you.

Diabetes & Fruits - Do They Go Hand-in-Hand?

Diabetes & Fruits - Do They Go Hand-in-Hand?

Can diabetes patients eat fruits?

It is a common understanding that fruits are not good for diabetic patients or they should not eat fruits, but is it really true? Almost all diabetic patients hesitate to eat fruits, as they consider them to contain sugar and since they already suffer from high sugar, they believe that eating fruits will spike it further.

Does diabetes mean excess sugar in blood?

No, diabetes means excess glucose in blood, not sugar. So, what's the difference? The difference is that all sugars are not glucose. Glucose is just one type of sugar and the only sugar that can cause diabetes. Glucose is present in most of the foods that we eat. It is highest in white table sugar, processed & packed foods and grains like rice & wheat.

Which kind of sugar is present in fruits?

Fruits contain a type of sugar known as fructose. Fructose is a simple sugar like glucose. However, it acts very differently as compared to glucose, and it does not mix with blood, as glucose does, and is stored in the liver. Therefore, Fructose acts as stored sugar and not as instant sugar like glucose. Some fruits also contain glucose, but it is present in much lower quantity, which is not responsible for increasing the blood glucose level. Remember, glucose is the energy or fuel for the body and even diabetic patients need it. But certainly not in excess.

Fruits & diabetes

  • Fruits, having fructose, do not increase the level of blood glucose and because of this, fruits are not only safe for diabetic patients but they also help in lowering the level of glucose.
  • Fruits also come packed with so many useful vitamins and minerals, that maintain the nutritional balance of the body.
  • Moreover, fruits provide a good dose of soluble fiber helps in lowering the level of glucose in the blood.

Conclusion

Diabetic patients must not hesitate to eat fruits but they must eat 3 different types of fruits every day, including one citrus fruit like orange & sweet lime.

Quick discharge/ Premature Ejaculation is very common and is usually not associated with any disease but may be due to anxiety, sometimes however there may be problem with prostate gland and thyroid hormone. Most often it is a chronic problem and you have to take medicines off and on. Also there are exercises to control it. You can learn to control PE by doing this exercise- pull your muscles that you pull at the end of urination for few seconds then release repeat this several times daily. Another is stop-start technique: when you feel that you are going to ejaculate stop the sexual stimulation and divert your mind, the penis will relax, after sometime start the stimulation again and repeat the procedure. Over few months you will gradually increase your ejaculation time. You can apply lignocaine gel to head of penis 10 mins before sex and wipe it off before starting sex. Also there are medicines to treat it.

M habitual of masturbation and when I quit aftr sone days there is some erection on my penis whis is for half n hour....
If you want to stop masturbating do not look at porn & get your mind off of it. If you still get the urge to, ignore it for a about 15 minutes & it'll go away. Masturbating from time to time is completely normal for a guy. Relax and try to concentrate on your studies and/or sports that you are good at. That will help you to avoiding thinking about sex all the time.

Hello,
I am 24 female, I am having a habit of eating fuller earth actually an addiction and I really want to get over...
Dear Lybrate user Many people have craving of eating these kind of things like clay chalk multani mitti etc. This becomes a habit a pattern in the childhood in most of the cases. This is psychological and can be treated. There are many tips for getting rid of the addiction but this its very difficult to escape from it. You can stop it for some time but it comes back again because there is a cause of this. And this does not end until its roots are found and healed. This is the only reason why many people who are addicted to some or the other thing are not able to quit. Psychotherapy is needed. We provide psychotherapy combined with clinical hypnotherapy which shows great results. You can contact me for a free consultation and get more information regarding this.
