Dear it suggests that you have bladder neck obstruction which needs to be investigated and confirmed. To start with get urine tested and also usg abdomen and pelvis with full bladder volume, bladder wall thickness on full bladder and post-void residual urine measurement.Post the results here and let me see them.

I am 64 year old, I am feeling knee pain and joint pain, in morning I feel my head heavy and not feel good, I feel pain when I climb stairs after sitting when I stand up a noise come from my knee joint. In day time sometime I sleep again I feel pain in my head and bad feeling, dr, please advice.

Good morning, from the symptoms that you have given, there are two different problems that you are having. Firstly, your knee joint pain. Taking your age and symptoms into consideration, it is very likely to be a degenerative joint disease or osteoarthritis. You need to get some basic blood tests like serum calcium and uric acid levels and a knee joint x ray (lateral and ap view). It is better to avoid strong pain killers as they can affect your kidneys and gi tract. You can take paracetamol 650 mg if there is a lot of pain. Local ice pack application can help. However, it is a progressive disorder. You can take calcium supplements orally. Secondly, the headache may have many reasons. It is difficult to comment without examining. It is advisable to get your blood pressure checked and an eye examination done. Too much of stress may be related to headache. Hope this helps

Hi onion is very good vegetable to treat sexual impotence. It increases libido and strengthens reproducing organs. White onions are best for this purpose. Take about 5-10 gm root powder of ladyfinger in a glass of milk. Add 2 tsp of mishri in this milk and drink it. This will prove helpful in improving sexual vigour. Belly fat is not due to eating less or more. It is due to your body tendency to put on fat around your waist. But there is no such thing called spot reduction, it means you can not lose your weight only around stomach. You have to pay attention to your whole body to be fit and toned. Sometimes stomach also comes out due to digestion problems and too much toxins in your body. Please follow a healthy diet and workout and you will start seeing results. For a start please follow: 1. Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2. Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3. Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4. Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A. Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B. At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c. Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D. Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E. Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F. Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G. Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Panner & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H. Have a glass of warm milk.

But after two days I vomited and checked my pregnancy with a pregnancy kit and it was positive! So am I really pregnant? If yes then what should I do to abort this child?

A baby can br massaged lightly after about two weeks of birth. Homemade butter or ghee can be used for massage, also coconut oil. But make not to smear too much oil and to massage with light hands.

Hi, combined effort of healthy and balanced diet with breast exercises will help you in toning up the muscles of breast, subsequently slight increase in size! 1. Bhujangasana or cobra pose is an easy pose that can be practiced by anyone at home. It helps in breast enlargement in short time. To perform this pose, first lie down on your stomach. Place your palm on the floor and then lift your upper part of the body by pressing the palm against the floor. Half lift the body until abdomen and look upright. Stay here for few seconds and then drop the head on the floor in resting position. Repeat the position 2 to 3 times initially and then gradually increase the number. 2. Gowmukhasana or cow pose, this posture act on the upper part of the body. This pose has been found effective for breast enlargement. Start this pose by sitting in lotus pose. Lift your arms parallel to shoulder. Twist the left arm backward and try to touch the right arm. Repeat the pose similarly at opposite side. 3. Ustrasana is also known as camel pose due to its resemblance with camel. In order to come into this pose, sit comfortably on your knees. While bending backward, try to hold right ankle with right hand and left ankle with left hand. Lift the buttock up making an arch and drop your head down and backward. Remain in this pose for few seconds and repeat again for one or two times. 4. Vrikshasana or tree pose: stand straight on the floor, lift left leg and place it on the thigh of right leg. Now inhale and raise your hands in praying pose above the head. Stay here for few seconds and then release the pose. Repeat in same way on the opposite side. 5. Dwikonasana is another effective posture for breast enlargement. To carry out this posture, stand straight with the feet apart. Then take the hands at the back and lock together. Slowly bend the upper part of the body forwards and lift the locked arms simultaneously. Stay in this pose for 20 to 30 seconds and then release the pose. Repeat it 2 to 3 times. Massaging the breasts with olive oil or almond oil (lukewarm) daily in circular motion will also help. Medication: sabal serrulata q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day for 4 weeks first, then get back to me.

Mr. lybrate-user, If diabetes is present for long time (a few years), and if not well controlled then it affects peripheral nerves causing numbness and pain. This usually happens in feet and toes. Sometimes there may be burning sensation also. Strict blood glucose control is the first requirement and some vitamin preparations may help. Thanks.

In Fact, his potty colour and loose stools is due to bottle feeding and if you must give other feeds you feed it with a a spoon or Katori . Stop bottle , and I have experienced this issue many times in my clinical practice

Panic Disorder- How To Control It

A panic attack is an intense and sudden feeling of fear that may lead the person to lose control and fear that he is dying. The intensity of the attack normally hits for around ten minutes though the symptoms may linger on after that. It normally occurs without prior signals and is typically unrelated to any of the underlying health troubles.

Ways to Control Panic Attack Symptoms-

If you are experiencing signs of panic attacks, then it is imperative to undergo proper medical treatment to find out any deeper medical problem related to these symptoms. If there is no definite cause, which is required to be treated, then there are various ways of controlling the panic attacks.

  1. Proper education: If panic attacks are left untreated for a long time, then it may lead to panic disorder, which includes frequent and recurrent panic attacks within a short span. So, it is important to have proper knowledge for combating panic disorders. You will have to understand how the fear centre of the brain works in order to recognise what panic disorder is. It is imperative to understand that the signs of panic disorder have no connection with any severe illness.

  2. Calm breathing: When a person is hit with a panic disorder, it is natural to take short, shallow breaths. You will have to take control of your breath and try to create a slow stream of air within and breathe it out, which will prevent hyperventilation and an accumulation of carbon-dioxide in the blood. It is recommended to practice slow breathing in a normal state of mind, so that you have a good hold over the technique which would come in handy when a panic attack occurs. You will have to breathe in for five seconds and hold the breath for one second before you exhale it out, spanning through four seconds. Repeat the process several times until you start experiencing a soothing feel.

  3. Muscle relaxation: Then you must try to learn how to relax the body by tensing and then relaxing different muscles, which will reduce the overall anxiety and stress levels causing panic attacks. You can start working on the muscles of your feet and then slowly move on to the forehead. You will have to tighten each muscle group while taking a deep breath, hold it for a few moments and release it while breathing out.

In case you think you are suffering from a panic disorder, it is imperative to waste no time and talk to a psychologist without further delay.
