Everyday I try to sleep but I dnt get a proper sleep. I work in a day very much n get tired.
* Don't'try' to sleep or wait for sleep to come. It's a deep relaxed state. So only when we let go everything even with the expectation  of sleep. Sleep doesn’t come. Just lie down in bed on decided time, put on some relaxation instrumental music and observe breath. With every breath say. Deep sleep/ relax/ calm (whichever word suits you) * Other Tips Avoid napping during the day. It can disturb the normal pattern of sleep and wakefulness. Avoid stimulants such as caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol atleast 4 hours before bedtime.  Exercise can promote good sleep. Vigorous exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. A relaxing exercises of yoga, can be done before bed to help initiate a restful night's sleep. Food can be disruptive right before sleep.  keep a gap of 2 to 3 hours between  large meals  and bedtime. Establish a regular relaxing bedtime routine. Try to avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Don't dwell on, or bring your problems to bed. Associate your bed with sleep. It's not a good idea to use your bed to watch TV, listen to the radio, or read. Learn some meditation techniques to cope with stress which is a common cause of sleep disturbance.

If you are confirmed about above mentioned test and diagnosis then I would like to suggest you first educate yourself about this condition and disease. It is very much important to understand about this condition. Without knowing it you can not understand remedial part of it. Next you need to be in regulor touch with rheumatologist physiotherapist and occupational therapist for treatment of it. Do regular ROM exercise of all joints and specially little bit more on left hip joint as u mentioned. May be there will be need of orthopaedics too later in life. Maintain your activity of daily living skills, breathing exercises, walk in rising sun time etc etc take nutrious diet too as dietician will suggest you

Hello, it looks like obsessive compulsive disorder where unwanted intrusive thoughts, images would come in mind and you try not to have those, however needs detailed interview to assess what kind of obsessions and compulsions you have. Don't worry, meet nearby psychiatrist. After assessment he or she may prescribe appropriate treatment like medications, cognitive behaviour therapy or any other therapy required.

1. Do warm saline gurgling and steam inhalation with karvol plus inhalant capsule 2-3 times daily. 2. Put otrivin nasal drop one drop thrice daily. Take viscodyne d syrup 2 tsf 2-3 times daily if you have dry cough or viscodyne syrup 2 tsf three times daily if you have cough with sputum. 3. If no relief, you have to take antibiotic. 4. Consult me for advice.

Height is usually always dominated by genetics. How short are your parents? if you are their size or slightly taller then them, chances are you will not grow very much more. There are no amazing magic ways to get taller. Get lots of nutrition and calcium. Get tons of calcium. Bigger bones means bigger you. Work out and play sports alot. Also greatly emphasize stretching. Posture is also important. Walk as tall and as straight as possible and over time this will add a handful of centimetres to your height. Take ashwagandha powder 2-2 tsf twice a day and lakshadi guggul 1-1 tab twice a day with warm water.

It must be investigated. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform

1/ mix equal amount of castor oil and coconut oil (u can add few drops of tea tree oil to mask the smell) 2/ warm it by putting the jar in hot water bowl for 2-3 mts (no microwave) 3. Apply oil on hair by fingers 4. Massage oil for 10 mts 5. Leave for at least one hr (u can put a shower cap ), and wash 6. Do once/twice a week.

Hi lybrate-user, It is not recommended to use Hydroquinone preparations for long periods of time as it can lead to side effects like hyperpigmentation /hypopigmentation too. I advise you to stop using this ointment/cream. For improving tone and texture of face, removal of dark spots and for glowing facial skin, I recommend skin lightening creams, Skin lightening capsules/tablets, Chemical peels and Microdermabrasion therapy. You will need a skin lightening cream and good sunscreen initially. I can prescribe you that. For further improvement, advanced treatments can be initiated. I would be happy to help you. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Add one teaspoon of turmeric powder to a glass of hot water or salt water. Gargle with this mixture several times a day, and especially before going to bed. It will help get rid of the inflammation and soreness. Alternatively, you can add one teaspoon of turmeric powder and a pinch of ground black pepper to a glass of warm milk. Drink it at night for two to three days to speed up the healing process.

  1. Lift those Weights: While most think of cardio workouts, not everybody turns to the weights (learn more to maintain the healthy weight). Weights are one of the best ways to maintain muscle mass. Include it as a part of your routine, do it often, and gradually increase the frequency and the weights to cover all body parts including arms, back, shoulders, chest and legs.
  2. Eat more protein: A protein-rich diet reduces the risk of muscle loss. While most people tend to just move to an all-protein diet, that is not the best way. For 1 kg of your weight, add 1.5 g of protein in your diet. For muscle building, you need about double what a normal person would need, which is about 0.8 g per kg.   3. Plan your meals: As your body needs all essential ingredients, plan your meal to ensure it covers all nutrients. From a muscle building point of view, ensure the required amount of protein is packed in all the 3 meals.   4. Pomegranates: These so called 'wonder fruits' contain a molecule which reduces the effects of ageing in the muscles. There are even pomegranate extracts which are believed to provide the same benefits, so the season is not a problem.
  5. Get some sun: While it is definitely not advisable to sun bath daily, getting a good amount of sun on a daily basis is very good for both the mind and the body. Sunlight, which is the main source of vitamin D, can reduce muscle weakness. It is also essential for calcium absorption, which is essential for muscle and bone health. Reduced amounts of vitamin D have been shown to lead to muscle wasting. A good idea is to walk or run out in the sun instead of in the gym. You get the benefits of both the sun and the workout, leaving you rejuvenated.

These are symptoms of alcohol intoxication occurring due to abnormal rise in blood alcohol level. The dizziness occurs as the inner ear hair cells (responsible for balance) malfunction because of high alcohol levels. Initially this will become normal once blood alcohol normalises with repeated such symptoms there's a real risk of permanent problem. Get a pta tympanometry lft (liver function test) done to rule out any damage. You can share your reports on lybrate. Hope this helps
