Walking tends to cause more strain on the knees every time you step forward, while cycling keeps the knee intact and works only on movement. You could also try some strength training exercises along with the above.

Lybrate-user-user, nothing to worry regarding this. Just go for vision check up. If everything is fine then its purely a stress headache. So drink plenty of water of atleast 5 to 6 litres per day. Take good liquid diet. Take more of fruits and juices. First try to manage your stress by cutting down it either by doing yoga or which ever hobby you like. Make some time in a day for thos. If it is unbearable only take medication for that. If youfollow above you will get your headache reduces to 90 percent. Hope I answered your question

I suffered from high depression due to which I lost my diet and become so thin that can not explain. I got repetitive thoughts and som time I do inappropriate actions and behaviour. I fell am I become mad or suffer from serious medical mental problem. I could not get excitement. I also have serious headache problem and a doctor gave me tryptomer 25 mg which makes me sleep for last 3 days and a complete head shake and increase depression level. From your history one can figure out that you might be suffering from Obsessive compulsive disorder with depression. Don't worry you will be fine. Hi. Dark circles can be temporary (means happens after any recent or chronic diseases or underlying medical condition, allergies, sinus infections and nasal congestions, lower eyelid laxity, fluid retention, hormonal imbalances, hyperpigmentation, aging, sun-exposure, insufficient sleep, worm-infestation, nutritional deificiency, working long hrs. on computer, lack of rest, stress/ tension, etc.) which can be improved by fixing the underlying cause or the problem or can be inherited from your parent's genes which can't be treated or cured! Management: Eat healthy and on time. Avoid junk. Drink plenty of water (as dehydration can cause dull or patchy skin). Sleep well. Wear anti-glare spectacles while working on computer. The area under your eyes has very sensitive skin, so never use chemical bleach. Reduce your stress/ tension through yoga, meditation or any other exercises (it not only improves your blood circulation, but also reduces the production of stress hormones by the body as well as increases happy hormones in the body). Use sunglasses regularly when you are in the sun and not to forget to apply a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare Sunscreen liberally, 20-30 minutes before stepping out in the sun and apply the same again after 3-4 hours if you have exposure to sunlight for long hours. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Cina 1M/ one dose daily at night for 10 days. Schwabe's Alfalafa Tonic/ 1 tsp thrice a day daily for 20 days and revert me back about the condition. Apply Bakson's Under Eye Cream twice daily (in morning and at night) and Medicynth's Whitch Hazel cream and Bakson's Under Eye cream twice - in morning and at night daily.

Dear, *Yogurt contains lactic acid that helps gently exfoliate the skin and absorbs excess oil from the face. Apply one tablespoon of plain yogurt thoroughly over your face and leave it on for 15 minutes. Then rinse it off with cool water. Do this once daily. Alternatively, mix one tablespoon each of organic yogurt and finely ground oatmeal. Then stir in one teaspoon of warm honey. Apply the mixture on your face. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse with warm water. * Gentle scrub and wash face with baking soda with mixture of honey or water. For blood purification consult us.

Lybrate-user, it is good to know that hypothyroidism is in good control. Usually all symptoms like tiredness and fatigue disappear on good control of hypothyroidism. Since you still feel tired and less energetic, it better to get hb checked. Get a cbc done, which will give full blood cell details. Plus take healthy diet and exercise daily for 1 hour. Also do pranayam. Most often tiredness is more a mental problem. Once you start exercising you will start feeling better. For back pain to there are specific exercises to strengthen those muscles, I am sure once you start doing it you will feel better. Thanks.

We all are aware of the fact that our height increases up to a particular age and then it comes to a halt. Height increases up to the age of 18years in women and up to the age of 20 years in men. Increase in height is attributed to the production of growth hormone, called the HGH( Human Growth Hormone), which is secreted by the pituitary gland called the master gland of our body. It is rather difficult to increase height after reaching adulthood as the production of these hormones slowly stops. In most cases, the epiphyses of the long bones are fused as the last bits of cartilaginous tissue in the bones turn into solid hard bones. This prevents any further growth in longer bones. However, if the hormones are released naturally, increase in height can be observed. Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

* The reason of stomach pain during periods is due to contractions of uterus (functioning of muscles of uterus). * Breast pain before periods is normal. It occurs due to change in hormonal level before periods. * Reason of vomiting during periods is due to blood loss and due to function of uterus muscles. Follow these methods for relief: * Put a warm water bottle on your lower abdomen (area below the stomach) firstly spread towel or any cloth then put the bottle on it. * Do massage with lukewarm mustard oil on lower abdomen area (below the stomach) and back daily. * Take 1/3 piece of ginger and 1/2 teaspoon of ajwain boil both these in one glass of water when 1/2 glass water remains then drink it. When you drink add one teaspoon of sugar in it. • Do not skip meal during periods. If you feel nausea and vomiting drink 2 teaspoon of Glucone D in one glass of water or drink a cup of tea. • Take rest properly and avoid heavy work during period days. Do not lift heavy material on periods days and before 7 days from periods coming date. • Do some exercises such as jogging or running and fast walking. Stop these before one week of periods coming date. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables and fruits and drink a glass of milk daily this will make you healthier.
