Get your refraction done and wear spectacles eat green veggies. Carrots. Strain less your eyes. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularily if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. If needed wear corrective spectacles. These r few things you can take care of. Otherwise as such no options available which wd increases your eyesight.

Yes, Latanoprost ophthalmic solution is a topical medication used for controlling the progression of glaucoma or ocular hypertension, by reducing intraocular pressure. If you stop it, glaucoma complications can occur.

Hello doctor, I am using too much mobile for my work. For Every work I have to use my mobile due to this I feel like dark in front of my eyes sometimes. I am using 8 to 10 hrs daily on mobile, sometimes continuously 6 to 7 hrs. What should I do to avoid this problem. I can't leave my mobile to as it is important for my job.

Hi, exposure to bright light or straining to see in dim light can also cause eye fatigue. One of the most common causes of eye fatigue is staring for long periods at digital devices such as: computer screens smartphones video games during sleep, the eyes are replenished with essential nutrients. Lack of sleep may result in persistent eye irritation. Prevention of eye fatigue usually eye fatigue can be prevented or reduced by making simple changes in your work habits or environment. Make changes to your work environment, such as: change lighting to reduce glare and harsh reflections. Make changes to your work habits, such as: try the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes, look away about 20 feet in front of you for 20 seconds. Blink frequently to avoid dryness in eyes. Take regular breaks from computer work. Management: give sufficient rest to your eyes with proper sleep. Keep yourself hydrated with intake of 10-12 glasses of water in a day. Eat healthy especially vitamin a rich food (green vegetables, carrots, yellow fruits and vegetables) and avoid junk food. Hold tap water in your flexed palm, dip your one eye closer to the water level, shut and open your eyelids often. Do the same with your other eye. Repeat this whole process 1-2 times more in a day. Give your eyes proper rest. Can keep slices of cucumber or potato or used tea bags over the closed eyes for sometime. Medication: instill 2 drops of euphrasia eye drops in each eye twice daily. Exercises for strengthening eye muscles: -begin by partially closing your eyes; the lids should only be halfway shut. After holding for 10-15 seconds, close your eyes very slowly. Take a few deep breaths to increase oxygen in the blood. -hold a pen at arm's length. Focus your gaze on the tip of the pen. Bring the pen closer to your nose at a slow and steady pace. Repeat this exercise 5-10 times. A -concentrate your vision on the tip of your nose. Then shift your gaze to an object further away, either at arm's length or 20 feet away. Then shift your eyes back to the tip of your nose. Repeat this exercise 10 times. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Begin by look to the left-most position (without moving your head) and hold to stretch your eye muscles. Hold for 5 counts. Blink and return your gaze back to look straight in front of you. Then look to the right-most position with your gaze and hold for 5 counts. Repeat 3 times, blinking between each hold. Then, repeat this exercise looking up and then down. Do not forget about blinking. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Look up and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look up to and to your left for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your left for 5 seconds.

Floaters have multiple reasons associated with them. Commonly, they are harmless; though, in some cases they may require further treatment. As mentioned by you, people using glasses for minus number (in your case-1.5) should get a thorough retina evaluation every 6 monthly. The eye has a front part known as the CORNEA, a middle part known as the LENS, and a back portion known as the VITREOUS AND RETINA. Floaters in the eyes of patients having a minus number are usually due to the VITREOUS gel in the back portion of the eye. To give you an example, consider a glass with clear water filled into it. When allowed to stand the water in the glass after some days tends to get dirty. Similarly, the VITREOUS gel in the with time tends to lose its transparency in certain parts and forms clumps. This is perceived by the patient as floaters in front of the eyes. The process of degeneration of vitreous is a bit faster in people who have minus numbers. Hence, the chances of seeing floaters are higher in people with minus numbers. A good idea would be to get a thorough retina evaluation done. The reason for suggesting this is that at times, floaters are also associated with breaks/ weak areas of the retina. They should be treated when detected. Also, being a retina specialist myself, I would like to know whether you have any family history of retina problems? Does anybody in your maternal or paternal side have retina related disorders or issues? If yes, it becomes even more important that you get a thorough retina evaluation done without delay.

It depends on the amount of deviation and presence or absence of any over/ underaction of muscles. Generally I would prefer operating on one eye, but again many factors to consider before commenting on anything.

1. You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy 2. Have good nourishing diet 3. Drink plenty of water (8-10 glass daily) 4. Go for regular exercise 5. Practice yoga, meditation, pranayama/deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 6. Avoid excess tea/coffee/ smoking/alcohol if you have 7. Don't take oily/fried/spicy and junk food.

Hi lybrate-user. These seems prodromal symptoms of some illness. You may take proper rest. Keep yourself hydrated. Don't take paracetamol. It is not a good Medicine until prescribed. If you find the symptoms increasing then better Consult and start treatment with proper bood investigations for faster recovery.
