Dear Dr. I'm chewing tobacco and pan masala from last many years now I'm not using all this nonsense. There are some black spots is in my chicks under mouth. I went to cancer specialist for checkup. He told that this is not a cancer it is just reaction of pan masala. He gave me a gel named placenta extract gel (placentrex gel. For my mouth. He told me to apply this gel 5 to 6 times daily. So will be I fine soon?

The black lesions could be something called melanoplakia. They per se won't cause cancer. However it has been shown that a compound in pan masala called arecholine can cause cancer. Almost 9/10 patients who consume pan masala, tobacco, gutkha will develop cancer sooner or later. So if you stop the habit and take the present medication, things should be fine

Hi, if her blood pressure is normal then she can leave the medicine under medical supervision.follow the daily routine changes to maintain the blood pressure:- Drink plenty of liquids and cut down your fat, salt and sugar intake. go for a morning walk daily at least for 30 minutes. Take a sound sleep and try to avoid anger. Home remedies to Control high BP:-1. Bananas are one fruit that people with high blood pressure can eat regularly to control it. Bananas are a rich source of potassium, which lessens the effect of sodium.So, try to eat one or two bananas daily. Along with bananas, you can try dried apricots, raisins, orange juice, spinach, baked sweet potatoes. 2. Eat one or two crushed garlic cloves daily. You can simply crush them with your hands. Crushing garlic cloves creates hydrogen sulfide, a compound that promotes good blood flow, removes gas and reduces the pressure on the heart.If you do not like eating raw garlic or if it causes a burning sensation, then take it along with a cup of milk. You can also mix five or six drops of garlic juice in four teaspoons of water and take it twice a day.

first of all i would say dont compare others because men will not take that very positively specially when you compare their sexual power or interests. usually initial years after marriage couples do relatively regular intercourse and with time frequency reduces due to many reasons. you need to find out why he is avoiding sex ..either he doesnt like or he dont get the enjoyment tye way it is done...other reasons may be erection issues or premature ejaculation...sometimes men started feelng guilty if they cant perform well and their partner complains..impact is person start avoiding it ...likewise there are many reasons. consult to discuss his problem in details. with ayurvedic medicines and guidance things can be improved..so dont worry.

Dark circles can be really troublesome. Nothing makes you look older and tired than dark circles under your eyes. They may be genetic or due to nutritional, lifestyle, sunlight, dehydration, allergies and stress factors. Eat lot of fruits, keep hydrated, sleep for 6-8 hours daily at schedule and exercise. After long term problem, the skin is less able to rebound from stress, fatigue, and exposure to environmental elements, even with the aid of nutrition, sleep, and moisturizing lotions. Sunscreen, skin lightening creams, Peels and electroporation, RF or ultrasound can help but you need to take 8-10 sessions weekly or fortnightly.

You are going through grief reaction, which is normal after loss of a love. Time is the healer for the emotional and behavioral changes, however if your depression is severe enough to affect you in a significant manner, kindly consult a psychiatrist for short term antidepressant medication, depending on the complaints. Dear lybrate user, you need to take homoeopathic carbo veg 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach. You can also try homoeopathic liver tonic liv-t (sbl company). Take 20 ml of the aforesaid liver tonic, thrice daily, after meals. Try to drink as much water as you can drink daily. Try to get an un-interrupted sleep of minimum 8 hours.

I am 29 years old and have been occasionally (avg once a month) experiencing severe anger outbursts since last two years in which I lose control of myself, often directing violence towards my life partner. I do not have a clue why is this so. I have not observed this tendency before. What should be the way forward?

Kindly get your anger evaluated and treated by a psychiatrist. I have given some anger control tips, if they do not work, kindly consult without delay, 1. Think before you speak In the heat of the moment, it's easy to say something you'll later regret. Take a few moments to collect your thoughts before saying anything — and allow others involved in the situation to do the same. 2. Once you're calm, express your anger As soon as you're thinking clearly, express your frustration in an assertive but nonconfrontational way. State your concerns and needs clearly and directly, without hurting others or trying to control them. 3. Get some exercise Physical activity can help reduce stress that can cause you to become angry. If you feel your anger escalating, go for a brisk walk or run, or spend some time doing other enjoyable physical activities. 4. Take a timeout Timeouts aren't just for kids. Give yourself short breaks during times of the day that tend to be stressful. A few moments of quiet time might help you feel better prepared to handle what's ahead without getting irritated or angry. 5. Identify possible solutions Instead of focusing on what made you mad, work on resolving the issue at hand. Does your child's messy room drive you crazy? Close the door. Is your partner late for dinner every night? Schedule meals later in the evening — or agree to eat on your own a few times a week. Remind yourself that anger won't fix anything and might only make it worse. 6. Stick with 'I' statements To avoid criticizing or placing blame — which might only increase tension — use "I" statements to describe the problem. Be respectful and specific. For example, say, "I'm upset that you left the table without offering to help with the dishes, instead of, "You never do any housework. 7. Don't hold a grudge Forgiveness is a powerful tool. If you allow anger and other negative feelings to crowd out positive feelings, you might find yourself swallowed up by your own bitterness or sense of injustice. But if you can forgive someone who angered you, you might both learn from the situation. It's unrealistic to expect everyone to behave exactly as you want at all times. 8. Use humor to release tension Lightening up can help diffuse tension. Use humor to help you face what's making you angry and, possibly, any unrealistic expectations you have for how things should go. Avoid sarcasm, though — it can hurt feelings and make things worse. 9. Practice relaxation skills When your temper flares, put relaxation skills to work. Practice deep-breathing exercises, imagine a relaxing scene, or repeat a calming word or phrase, such as, "Take it easy. You might also listen to music, write in a journal or do a few yoga poses — whatever it takes to encourage relaxation. 10. Know when to seek help Learning to control anger is a challenge for everyone at times. Consider seeking help for anger issues if your anger seems out of control, causes you to do things you regret or hurts those around you.
