Take 1 glass of luke warm water with lemon juice and honey in the morning for 15 days in a month. 4.Take 1 cup of green tea in the evening daily. 5. Dear Lybrateuser, -Do avoid any arguments with family & friends as it is the main cause of your problem -do regular exercise like walking /brisk walking for 20-30 min in morning, do yoga, meditation & deep breathing exercise for 10-15 min in the morning to calm & relax your mind & to keep the body fit -do not take a nap for more than 30 min in the day -keep yourself occupied in the day by reading, listening to music, following a hobby, socializing with friends & speaking with family -also reduce intake of alcohol to 60 ml as the amount you consume is more, as you reduce the consumption you will start getting sound sleep -also take a balanced diet with more of fruits & vegetables, have 6-7 glasses of water for sufficient hydration -take medication on time regularly.

Don’t worry. You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. As soon as you start seeing the results, you will be surprised as well as motivated to go beyond your weight loss and adopt and a lifelong healthy attitude. For a start please follow: 1.Watch what you eat – Are you eating too much junk, drink excessive alcohol and eating too much white food and sugar? Please cut it down to as low as you can from tomorrow. Cut down tea/coffee if you are too addicted to it. It is creating havoc inside your body. 2.Lifestyle – Are you a late sleeper and late riser? You can’t imagine what this schedule of yours is doing to your metabolism. It is degrading your digestive system from inside and your looks from outside. 3.Physically active – If you are a couch potato who loves to watch tv whole day then throw that couch of yours in the street and get yourself a treadmill tomorrow. Yes it is as simple as that. Who is stopping you? You have to be physically active all day long if you want to burn those extra calories. Do daily brisk walk, Pranayam, atleast 20 surayanamaskar everyday to start seeing the results. Take break between office work to walk a little or rather just climb some stairs to get that food you ate in lunch have space and heat to digest and absorb. What’s the harm in using your washroom to do a little middle of the day squats. Do that – No one is watching you. The key is to stay physically active all day long, no matter what. 4.Eat healthy and eat on time: Not only eating healthy is important but eating at right time is equally imp too. Have an early breakfast and early dinner and have 4 small meals between breakfast and dinner. To guide you a bit, here you go: A.Breakfast (Between 8-10 a. M) – Have oats/porridge or brown bread with milk and nuts. B.At 11 a. M - Cup of Green Tea c.Mid day meal (around 12 p. M) – Have a bowl of fruits. Citrus fruits are best taken during this hour and absorb well in the body. Have oranges, amla, pineapple etc during this hour. D.Lunch (between 2-3 p. M) – Daal, roti, mix veg, buttermilk and salad. You can also take brown rice with daal in lunch. Try to get your food cooked in olive oil. Lace your salad with apple cider vinegar, black pepper and seeds like flaxseeds or chia seeds to make it nutrition packed lunch. E.Between 4 p. M – 5 p. M – Cup of Green Tea F.Evening (4-6 p. M) – Have some nice sprouts with tomatoes and cucumber. G.Dinner (2 hours before sleeping, preferably before 9 p. M) – Paneer & veggies salad with olive oil, Roti or brown rice with Daal. H.Have a glass of warm milk.

I am a diabetic for the last 20 years. Initially I was on oral medications only. Since the last 5 years I have also been advised insulin human mixtard. Hello, you can tk, underlying homoeo medicine along with the allopathic medicines. @Syzium jimbolicumQ-10. Drops, thrice1/2.hr before meal. Maintain all sorts of anti diabetics. Tk, care.

Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight.* body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soupor salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * for thighs - work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15 minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. To reduce the tummy, * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * lie down on plain surface, put your hands on the back of head by folding your elbows, now move your head towads the knees try to touch your knees with forehead and then move back and lie down. Repeat it for 5-10 times daily for flat tummy. * do surya namaskar yoga everyday, as surya namaskar have 12 forms of yoga. Do it for in morning everyday to get in shape in short period. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories.

Hi lybrate-user you don't have to take any medicine to become fat. Eat more no. Of chapatis, more rice with butter or ghee. Eat more fresh dark green leafy vegetables, more fresh fruits and also take fruit juices. Take creamed milk and also take milk products like cheese, khoa, etc. If you eat non-veg then eat 2 to 3 pcs. Of egg or fish thrice a week. Also you must take exercises daily as it helps in better absorption of food and also increases your satiety.

Thanks for health questions need not to worry eat balanced diet and more protein rich diet eat dark green leafy vegetables and fruits daily drink plenty of water drink coconut water twice a day time avoid stress and strain avoid smoking and alcohol consumption if any avoid day time sleep take sound sleep at night avoid fast food and restaurant food take less oily and less spicy food practice yogas and pranayamas daily practice morning and evening walk necessary avoid to take very hot water on head while bath avoid chemical based soap and shampoo go for ayurvedic panchkarma procedures go for ayurvedic medicines that gives excellent results

Sir my right knee (ACL) ligament was tore while playing. So I took treatment and get it reconstruct through a doctor. He inserted screw in knee. Now 10th month is going on after operations. But still I am having pain in my knee when I sit in latrine. Specially after running or if I stand for more than an hour. I did many exercises also for this. I am in army so I have to do hard work. Please advise me some medicine or exercise s to overcome this stiffness of knee. In running I have no problem but I have problem in fully bend of leg.

Lybrate-user your weight acording to your height is normal. So pain must b because of some damage to the cartilage of knee joint due to tear of acl. First of all stop using indian toilets. Start useing western toilet. Do not bend your knee more than 90 degree as far as possible. Do some strengthening exe of quadriceps nd halmstring.

Low cholesterol linked to anxiety, depression, suicide, hemorrhagic stroke and cancers

People with very low cholesterol levels are at increased risk of developing stomach cancer, according to a study published in the International Journal of Cancer.

The study involved 2,600 residents of Hisayama, Japan, who were followed for 14 years. Gastric cancers developed in 97 subjects. After accounting for age and gender, stomach cancer rates rose significantly with descending cholesterol level. For example, among subjects with the highest cholesterol levels, the gastric cancer rate was the equivalent of 2.1 cases per 1000 persons per year; among those with the lowest cholesterol, the rate was 3.9 per 1000 persons per year.

Patients with low serum cholesterol should consider periodic gastrointestinal examination for the prevention of stomach cancer.

Low cholesterol has been earlier linked to depression, anxiety and suicide in both men and women. Another earlier report has also shown that people with cholesterol level below 180 had twice the risk of brain hemorrhage as compared to those with cholesterol levels of 230.

Hi make a paste of neem leaves and apply on the targeted pimples. If you cannot get fresh neem leaves, try to get some dried bottled neem leaves, steep for 10 minutes in warm water and use as a paste. Apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water.

Dear lybrate-user, hello, can you relate the onset of your pain to a certain activity or posture at work? the most common causes of backache at your age are either prolapsed intervertebral disc or lumbosacral strain. You must sleep on a firm mattress and use commode. Do hot fomentation and apply a local gel twice a day. And wear a ls belt. Take some pain killer for 1 week or so. And have physiotherapy for 7-10 days. Once your pain is controlled. Learn and do exercises regularly. Take care.

Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong , chana , Dal , rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit
