High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress,take plenty of water in day time. And 1 glass of water before bed at night. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. Garlic,. Cod liver oil. Take anti cholesterol medicines . Cap. Ecosprin gold-10 at night daily.

You to improve your endurance and stamina slowly over time. There is no shortcut to it. Increase your distance of running day by day. It cannot be done within a short period.

I m a 40 years old diabetic patient. My recent blood report is fasting-138 mg/dl, pp is 186 mg/dl, Hba1c is 5.9, creatinine-1.2, cholesterol-152mg/dl, Hdl-30mg/dl, triglycerides-210, Microalbumin -10.4, uric acid-7.2mg/dl, SGPT-136, SGOT-43 my bp is 70/110 and weight is 60 kg, can I take medicine Mebiz SR and Rifagut 400 mg for SGPT and SGOT? Also please say about my blood reports and also give some suggestion to control it.

Your blood sugar level is high so avoid sweets as more as possible. Take pranacharya diabeto capsule and shilajeet capsule twice a day. Instead of these tablets in my opinion you should go for ayurvedic medicines for sgot & sgpt.

Dear, To control & maintan BP normal these are best methods to follow:.• Do physical exercise like jogging, running or brisk walk for atleast 20-30 minutes. Start these exercises with 5 to 7 minutes increase time slowly. • Maintain your cholesterol level to normal & eat least amount of butter, cream or fatty things. • Eat less amount of pickle, salt and fast food as they contain high sodium levels. • Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking. • Take less amount of caffine containing coffee, tea or cold drinks because caffine causes increase BP. • Drink 8 to 10 glass of water daily • Take 6 to 8 hrs of sleep daily. Do not take too much stress. • Do long breathing pranayams (Anulom- Vilom, Bhramari) daily for 10 - 15 minutes. It will reduce your stress level in your body. • Eat healthy diet such as green leafy vegetables, fruits. • Take 5 ml of GULAB Jal added in a glass of water daily once a day.

Daily night around 8-830 I am feeling that my nose is block. I am able to breath but with pressure, I can fell some sputum inside my nose actually Not even a single breath I can feel is complete unless I take a yawn or breath by mouth. I am using otrivin from around 3-4 days. I have bp of 170/110 and I am taking medicine and during nose congestion it's normal around 150/90. Could you please tell what could be the reason.

You are likely to be having allergic rhinitis which increases in night and can cause fall in BP. USE spray which decrease nasal inflammation as well as anti allergic also. See that humidity in your room is very low.

Hi if you are a patient of high blood pressure, then you are on the risk side of developing heart problems, so if you are getting chest pain as explained by you, its basically called as exertional chest pain. You should get done one ecg, then stress echo to see any heart problem during exertion. And then consult a cardiologist do not worry, you will be fine, these probs have treatment.

It could be a muscular pain 1. Take one tablet of crocin pain relief sos after food upto a maximum of 3 tablets daily 2. Apply volini gel twice daily 3. Give warm compress locally 4. Take rest 5. If no relief, take xray chest and consult physician, for advice and treatment.

Hello Doctor, I have got red bumps and puss like bumps on my chest due to waxing. I wax usually and apply elovera gel and I get few bumps which are not to noticeable. Dear lybrateuser, avoid drinking drinking cold water or any other cold drink. Drink luke warm water & warm tea, milk, soup. Do gargles at least 2-3 times in a day, in a glass of water add a pinch of salt. Also do steam inhalation 2-3 times a day. Avoid dust in & outside the house for which you can use a mask. You can take syrup chericof 1 tablespoon 3 times a day. If still no relief then consult a doctor as you may require to do investigations to find out the cause of your cough & take proper treatment.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your chest pain could be due to acidity - follow some dietary precautions: - avoid spicy, fried & junk food, also restrict tea / coffee intake to 1-2 cups per day - chew your food well, do not skip meals, have meals on time, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - do regular exercise like walking, playing games, jogging, swimming, also do yoga & deep breathing for 5-10 min daily morning.

Chest pain causes 1. Heart disease 2. Stress, anxiety 3. Lack of exercise 4. Sedentary life style 5. Obesity (over weight) 6. Smoking, tobacco and alcohol consumption, excess tea/coffee 7. Excess oily, fatty, cholesterol rich diet, junk food 8. Hyperacidity, musculr pain 9. Heredity and genetic factor prevention follow the advice given below 1. Avoid stress and strain 2. Do regular exercise, yoga, meditation, deep breathing exercise like pranayama etc. It will calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 3 avoid alcohol, smoking and tobacco consumptio, excess tea/coffee. 4. Take bland diet, avoid spicy, oily, fatty and junk food 5. Take paracetamol 500 mg one tablet sos after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily, at the time of chest pain 6. Drink plenty of water and take rest. 7. If you have recurrent attack of chest pain take ecg and consult cardiologist.

I am 57 years old. My blood pressure when checked periodically ranges from 120/80 to 140/90. Daily I am walking for 30minutes and no habit like smoking or alcohol drinking. Advice me is it necessary to go for medicines and my sugar level at random is 120.

Dear your bp remains in normal range. There is no need to take medicines. Instead reduce your salt intake, exercise more and consume lots of fruits and vegetables.

It all started from severe head aches then chest pain. Had medicines. Ecg was normal.in cholesterol test LDH was little high. Now the current position is headaches with weakness nd blur vision sometimes. When the body heats up there is no headache. Its been 2 months but he is not getting out of this. please help.

Dear l u:- you might be suffering from migrainous headache & hyper cholesterolaemia. Low oily & fatty meals, low salty meals is recomendated. Take regullar aerobic exercises, coloured fruits & vegetables, plenty of water.

U take low salt low calorie high protein diet. Do excercise regularly. 4 -5 meals in a day in frequent interval.
