Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello. Get an X-ray of both the knees done. We can't reverse the established pathology back, but we can control the process in the stage it is so that it wouldn't grow further. Apply Bakson’s Rheum Aid oil gently (2-3 times a day) and take orally Bakson’s Rheum-Aid syrup/ 1 tablespoon thrice daily. Also, increase your dietary intake of calcium which is present in green leafy vegetables, milk, milk products, sea food, white legumes, dried fig, black-eyed peas, almonds, oranges, seasame seeds. And vitamin D which is essential for absorption of calcium in our body and is synthesized naturally after getting exposed to sunlight, so early morning sunlight for 10-15 min. 2-3 times a day is mandatory. Apart from this, do walk daily along with physiotherapy will also help you.

Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem or may be Migraine Headache follow advises given below: You can take(If No drug allergy) : 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error 4.We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis consult physician/me for further management.

Hi Dr. My father suffiring from knee pain and swelling his age is 56yr. He has not any problem in walking. He has done x-ray and all report but all are normal and consult with Dr. He says every thing fine suggest some excercise. Bus before two month consult with another Dr. He says his knees not working properly and he has to go for sugery. While his x-ray reprot is normal and no problem in walking. Please give me adwise.

Hello if there is not much problem in walking and as you say x-ray report are normal, I suggest you to start physiotherapy treatment. Meanwhile. Suggestions for the application of ice and heat ice is an effective and natural pain killer and anti-inflammatory. Whenever you experience swelling, redness or sharp / stabbing pain it is generally considered best to apply ice. Repeat until symptoms ease? usually for 24? 48 hours. Following this you should alternate with ice and heat. If in doubt, contact your physiotherapist. Application place ice cubes in a plastic bag or use a professionally prepared ice pack. Place a damp face washer or tea towel over the problem area then place the ice pack on the material covering. The first application should be as follows:- 10 minutes on 10 minutes off 10 minutes on 10 minutes off 10 minutes on then during waking hours, apply the ice pack every 2 hours, or as indicated by your physiotherapist. As the inflammation reduces, it is often beneficial to apply heat between ice. 10 minutes on ice 10 minutes on heat 10 minutes on ice 10 minutes on heat 10 minutes on ice 10 minutes on heat heat is an effective therapy for reducing muscular tension and pain and is best used after the initial inflammation has subsided. N. B. If you do not have ice immediately available, then use a pack of frozen peas or similar item. Do reply for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. Best wishes.

When leg pain occurs after strenuous physical activity, you can simply apply cold compresses. This will help reduce the pain by numbing the affected area and control swelling and inflammation. 1. Wrap a few ice cubes (or a bag of frozen peas) in a thin towel. 2. Apply this pack on the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes, while keeping the leg (s) elevated. 3. Do this a few times a day. Note: do not apply ice directly on the skin, as it may cause frostbite.

Excercise is an important part of life. After all injury the muscles needs to work harder to compensate for the instability. The muscle needs excercise to regain its strength. The muscles if weak will lead to having chronic pain of the knee. Studies have shown that it takes almost a year for the muscles to regain the full strength of the muscles.

Hi, I would recommend you to take 2 litres of water /day to bring down your uric acid level. For your knee pain is concerned, I would recommend you to visit nearby physiotherapy centre to take pain relieving modalities, and once your pain subsides start doing strengthening exercises. Its better to continue exercises regularly through out your life for being healthy. If you are obese, try to reduce weight gradually. Dont try to go for any supplements to reduce weight. Check your uric acid level and creatine levels next month to avoid complications of kidney. Regards rekha srinath

Exercise regularly including stretching, yoga and exercises by lying on back. Do not sit at one place for longer time, avoid bending and lifting heavy weight. Apply orthomove oil over back twice daily. You may need internal medication. Consult for that.
