Dear Lybrate User, Cholesterol is naturally produced inside the body of every living animal. Human beings are no exception to that. But when we take mutton, chicken, yellow part of a boiled egg, ghee, butter etc we intake cholesterol from external source. This extra cholesterol from external sources increase the total cholesterol content of human body. You should always keep your cholesterol level within normal limits as high cholesterol serves as a precursor to various cardiac diseases. Avoid the aforesaid food. Walk at least 1 hour in a day without any interval. Also you can take Homoeopathic Mother Tincture FUCUS VESICULOSUS Q, 30 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water.

Chest pain can be a symptom of anxiety itself. You need to tell your age and other risk of heart disease like diabetes, high blood pressure etc. If you are above 40 years age then you should get a ECG done to rule out angina I.e. Heart disease.

Hello dear patient. High cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style . Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, junk foods, alcohol, smoking, fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. garlic,. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

If the pain is in you abdomen, you might be suffering from gastritis or gastric ulcer. It is advisable to consult a doctor. 1. Have small frequent meals at regular intervals instead of 3-4 large ones. Have protein rich snacks like lassi/buttermilk/curd/dhokla/khandvi/steamed chicken momo/whole egg/besan chila in between main meals. 2. Drink 3 litres water daily but not with meal. 3. You will get fresh oxygen through clean plants kept in your home. Do go to garden but make sure that leaves are not dust coated and plants are watered well. You can buy an oxygen concentration device this device is simple. Needs no maintenance. Can be kept from one room to another. It concentrates the oxygen that is present in the air. This device is also given on rent to young people recovering from pneumonia and burns like conditions.

Dear lybrate user, you may be suffering from high uric acid level in your blood. To confirm you should conduct a blood test for uric acid. Protein is one of the most vital nutritional substances which are required for human body. Almost every high protein diet contains purine. This purine produces uric acid on oxidation. Excess uric acid is accumulated at the joints of human beings as urate salts. This accumulation of urate salts lead to pain & swelling of those affected joints & this condition is clinically known as gout. You should avoid high protein rich diet like mutton, chicken, beef, eggs, sea fish, spinach, garden pea, tomato, lentils etc. Also you need to take homoeopathic mother tincture urtica urens q, 30 drops, thrice daily, after meals, in a cup of water. This medicine will help to dissolve the accumulated excess urate salts from the joints.

What I do when I suffer from heart attack?

DM - Cardiology, MD - Medicine
Cardiologist,
What I do when I suffer from heart attack?
Call for help—immediately & get to nearest doctor/hospital Don’t drive yourself to the hospital, preferably ask your relative /friend etc. Uncertainty is normal—don’t be embarrassed by a false alarm Plan ahead especially if you are in the high risk category. Learn the warning signs. Lastly If you have aspirin at home, and you know that you are not allergic to it, then you could consider taking it- however there is a risk in this as sometimes in complicated case e.g aortic dissection/VSD etc ,which happens though rarely, surgery may be required and then having taken aspirin may cause bleeding problems during surgery.
