Hello, Bloodshot eyes appear red because the vessels at the surface of the white portion of the eye become swollen. Vessels may swell due to: Eye dryness Too much sun exposure Dust or other particles in the eye Allergies Infection Injury Eye infections or inflammation can cause redness as well as possible itching, discharge, pain, or vision problems. Other causes of eye redness include Colds or allergies, Acute glaucoma, Corneal scratches: Injuries caused by sand, dust, or overuse of contact lenses. Sometimes, a bright red spot, called a subconjunctival hemorrhage, will appear on the white of the eye. This often happens after straining or coughing, which causes a broken blood vessel on the surface of the eye. Most often, there is no pain and your vision is normal. It is almost never a serious problem. Because the blood leaks into the conjunctiva, which is clear, you cannot wipe or rinse the blood away. Like a bruise, the red spot will go away within a week or two. Management: - Try to rest your eyes if redness is due to fatigue or eye strain. No other treatment is needed. - Wash your hands, hold clean water in your hand, keep your eyes closer to the water and dip the eyes by blinking the eyelids frequently in the held water in hand. Repeat it for 3-4 times again. - Avoid watching T.V., working on computer or mobile, reading or frequently keep blinking your eyes to avoid dryness. Take frequent breaks in between. - In case there is itching, use a clean napkin or a tissue to wipe the tears and cleaning the eyelids gently. -Wear an UV-rays protected sunglasses while you are out in sun. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe’s Belladonna 30 and Euphrasia 30 - both thrice daily for 4 days. Use Euphrasia Eye drops twice daily. Revert back thereafter. Also, visit an Opthalmologist as it's been 1 year you are having red eyes.

How to deal with eye squint in adults? Are there any eye exercises or squint surgery is the only option?

How to deal with eye squint in adults? Are there any eye exercises or squint surgery is the only option?
Hi, squints in adults can be treated using several methods, including: eye muscle exercises glasses containing prisms eye muscle surgery muscle exercises can be helpful in treating a form of squints in adults in which the eyes cannot align themselves for close work or reading. However, eye muscle exercises are rarely useful in other cases of squints in adults. Eye glasses with prisms can correct mild double vision associated with squints in adults. The prisms can be worn on the outside of the eye glass frames or can be manufactured directly into the lens itself. Prism eye glasses usually cannot correct more severe cases of double vision where images are far apart or double vision caused by weak or tight muscles. Eye muscle surgery is the most common treatment for squints. Typically, squints occur when the muscles surrounding the eyes are either too stiff or too weak. Squint surgery is usually performed on an outpatient basis using general or local anesthesia. You can often return to your normal activities within a few days. More than one surgery may be needed to treat this condition depending on the severity of the case. Consult an opthalmologist (eye specialist) for detailed information.

There is no medication or food or acupressure for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 17 years so your number will not increase much now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. As you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik. Having said that, results for hyperopic lasik are not very good. My advice is that you continue using glasses.

You may be suffering from jaundice. Consult your physician doctor and get a body check up done. You may also require laboratory tests in the form of complete haemogram, liver function tests and kidney function tests. Taking treatment with the physician for your general health condition will improve your eye condition as well. Take care of your self. Refrain from addictions if you have any. Take care.
