I'm 53 year old male, 5ft 5inch tall. On my right foot finger next to small finger has been swollen for 11 months (no injury), 3 months ago left foot small finger got swollen without injury, then whole toe swelled. Back of left foot also has been swollen for 14-16 months. It's the part behind foot, where heel connect to leg. Perhaps called tendinitis. Can not put on shoes anymore since last summer. I desperately need help.

First step to control your bp. Eat more fresh food and jawas chatani regullarly to your diet. Eat food with less oil and avoid salted things like pickle, papad and extra fatty things. With this you must start with proper medicine.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate.You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you, a muscle relaxant like tab myoril can also be added for 5-7 days if there is muscle spasm as well. - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can be used for application at painful site for 3-5 days - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Hello, learn specific exercise from skilled physiotherapist. Meanwhile take few precautions. Take hot water fomentation or if there is swealing in knee apply cold pack for 20 min. At every 3hrs. Hi you must consult to a good physiotherapist. There could be some nerve getting compressed from the neck which is giving pain in the arm. Muscle like trapezeus may be harbouring trigger points. Physiotherapist will release the trigger point and help you to abolish the pain and teach you some exercises that has to be done by you.

Take cap. Rectone 1-1-1 after food with buttermilk and tab. Anuloma ds 1-2 tabs at bedtime with hot water. Take tab. Bolabaddha ras 1-1-1 after food whenever there is bleeding after passing stools. Apply pilon ointment before and after passing stools. Consume high fiber diet and drink 2-3 litres of water per day. Apply mahanarayana taila 3 times a day and massage for 10-15 mins and give hot water fomentation. Take tab. Mahayogaraja gggulu 1-1-1 with hot water for about a week and revert back.

Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.
