Keep the patient well hydrated is the mainstay of treatment n keeping fever under check. No antibiotics/painkillers as a general rule. Monitor vitals and urine output. May take 7-10 days to recover but weakness can last longer. Adv bed rest.

You maybe suffering from allergic rhinitis and pharyngitis. You need to avoid the cause of your allergies and also take anti allergy medications. Please consult for prescription. If you have an infection and have fever you will need to do a course of antibiotics. For now do warm saline gargle and steam inhalation 3 times a day.

Dear lybrate-user, home remedy for dry cough: 5 basil leaves, 4 black pepper, 4 munakka, 5 gms liquorice (mulethi), 3 gms banafsha - boil these in 200 ml of water till it becomes 100 ml. Filter it. Add 2-3 patasha in it and drink lukewarm for 3-4 nights. Sleep well covered. Dry cough will be relieved. Also continue to chew mulethi. You can also have steam with vicks

How Healthy Diet Can Help You In Leading a Healthy and Happy Life?

The food you eat affects your physical and mental health. In short, it powers your life. 1. It indicates less vigour in you which could be due to (a. Anulom kshay or (b)'pratilom kshay' beginning stage. It means'dhatuksheenta' due to (a) improper nutrition or (b) excessive loss of shukra dhatu due to indulgence, masturbation, anal sex in excess. 2. This further indicates loss of vigour'dhatuksheenta' etc. It is normal result if sexual fatige and nothing abnormal. Still start taking good diet esp'shukravardhak' e. G. Milk, ghee, fruits, light satvic food etc according to digestion, metabolism. Also'vrushya and brunghan herbs will supplement the deficiency. Dear lybrate user, sperm cells are being continuously produced inside human testis. A single sperm cell needs about 4 months to mature before being ejaculated. Masturbating ejaculates many mature as well as immature sperm & results in the temporary deficit of sperm count. This loss of sperm results in the increased production of sperm. A sperm is mainly made up of protein. An increased production of sperm count needs a steady supply of protein. This supply of protein is met from the amount of protein we intake daily.
