I read your problem. First you have to take healthy diet and avoid spicy food and oily food. Drink plenty of water. HI Lybrate USER… 1) take 200 ml of fresh buttermilk after meals… 2) eat 30-40 black currants and 1 tsf of jaggery during meals… 3) take 30 ml of juice of indian gooseberry along with 15 ml of honey in morning on empty stomach. 4) apply mixture of milk and aloe vera gel on face with gentle massage daily… Do all these things for 15 days …it gives you excellent result…THANKS.

Dear lybrate user, presence of fever doesn't indicate possibility of pregnancy. However, the date you had intercourse can result in pregnancy. Urine for pregnancy test will have to be done if she misses her periods. Detection of pregnancy is possible earlier by a blood test.

My hair is becoming very very thing. I used to have very very large and thick hair. Day by day it became dull and dry. I have premature (at the age of 11) grey hair so started putting henna from the teenage time on wards. When I'm into 20 years started using shampoo. Now I'm entered into 30. Last year, I started applying L'oreal INOA Colour. To avoid the dullness did smoothing still no use. There is a lot of effort sof my mother and grand mother on my hair. But I ruined it. How to get my hair thick and strong and lengthy again. Every body is able to identify my hair loss.

Apply bhringraj oil on your scalp then give hot water fomentation. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Take lots of proteins like soyabean. Egg white. Etc. Avoid tea. Coffee. Spicy food. Fermented food. Junk food. Apply only ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp. Do pranayama early morning.

I am 44 years old suffering from gastritis from almost more than 12 years sir I feel nausea vomiting sensation sometimes stomachçhe tightness fullness of stomach the reasons are stress and food both equally playing role-playing I had got three times gastric ulcers and also amoebiasis also some times I get immediate small motion slightly in underwear itself when gastric problem is serious I don't get sleep and motion my motion is sometimes in sticky and colours I get redness in eyes sometimes I feel thirsty I drink lot of water my face gets small tinyearlier glow is not there in my face I feel different kind of fatigue earlier I used to eat all kinds foods out side earlier now I have controlled to take food mostly some times even now I am food alcoholic earlier now also my mind cannot control fully towards food and moreover I am not married till now and fully earn money up to the mark which I should I earn at this age now at present I sleep for 5 to 6 maximum hours I think my immune system response is less and I don't use medicines regularly when it's serious only I use it think it'll be habituated by taking continuously allopathic medicines so sir kindly suggest me natural ways to get rid of gastritis problem at least for prolonged periods not frequently by which food I should not take everything in detail ib take buttermilk daily at night upto 300 ml I feel better and get sleep some times I cannot avoid food outside at least twice in week I go to see movies I eat outside food then I feel hungry when I take more food at a time I get stomach irritation so please suggest me some good precautions and habits in daily life sir I work as machine operator in steel industry central government on consolidated basis salary I avoided can note foods from last four years now I am taking home food daily when I am in workplace sir I am taking more effort to get work done by me these days due to gastritis please suggest me good ideas to get rid of gastritis and fatigue other then drugs in mostly natural ways thank you very much sir waiting for your valuable suggestions and reply.

Parental Depression is an aspect which affects the innocent child, right from the time it is in the mother's womb.

Maternal depression could be due to various reasons ranging from familial disharmony to poor health. Unfortunately, a depressed mother's pessimistic thoughts could pass on to the pure soul inside her. So the effect starts in utero. After birth, she may be careless and negligent towards a child whose most important requirement is love. And children of these mothers become victims of behavioral and cognitive problems and poor school performers. They may also acquire the illness of depression eventually.

A depressed father will display stress and agitation instead of engaging the young minds in interesting learning or other activities.

Hence, before stepping into parenthood, it's important to be mentally fit and not just physically healthy. Exercise and meditation is of great help and of course a happy home environment.

Supporting each other is the key to getting things on track again.

  • Talk to your spouse: Chat with your spouse, showing affection, doing things with them and encouraging them to get out of the house are important.
  • Appreciate her but respect your family: Help her see that the family needs her and appreciates that she is expecting. While doing the same ensure that you respect the feelings of your family members.
  • Opt for specialist care: Offer to see a therapist and encourage her to take medications. Getting the help of an expert helps get guidance to handle difficult situations.
  • Be emotionally present with her: Go with her to as many antenatal checkups as you can, and make sure you are there for the ultrasound scans. This encourages a woman and gives her the satisfaction that her partner is involved.
  • Compliment her and pay attention to her: Many women find it difficult to cope with the changes in their body during pregnancy. She may be worried about stretch marks, concerned about weight gain or just be feeling not much like her old self. Make sure to compliment her and let her know how much you love her.
  • Be a shoulder for her to cry on: Listen to all of her concerns, and offer her the reassurance and support she really needs.
  • Be there to help: After the birth, your partner will need time to recover. She will be exhausted, sore and hormonal, and will be relying on you for support. Help with the baby, and do as much as you can.

Hi As a baby I had a swelling on my lower back for which I had to undergo operation when I was 6 months. It was described as malenosac by doctor. It exists as a small bump on my lower back at age of 24. A month ago I started gym, I been feeling burning sensation in that area which has become more regular in the past few days.

I face so many problems about my weight please help me.
It is not easy in the time frame you suggest but you can try. You need to have diet plan based on your BMI & activities. Whatever we eat is metabolised by the body for the energy needed to do daily work and the excess is stored as fat. Abdomen is the first place to gain weight and last to disappear. In brief, Weight reduction can be achieved only by reducing the intake of food 1/3 of what you take now. And by appropriate exercise plans for each part like belly, thighs, legs / chest etc. To burn off fat. Some tips 1) Drink three or four cups of water whenever you feel hungry and just before eating food 2) Take boiled or raw vegetable like cucumber, carrot etc. As half of your diet. Then take 1/2 of your total diet as sprouted pulses / proteinaceous food like roti, cooked pulses and remaining with rice or other carbohydrates. Oil or ghee etc. Should be just bare minimum. And do aerobic exercises, running, jogging or at least walking briskly 3-5 KMs and swimming if possible, and in a gym if feasible. The most important is to burn off the energy intake by exercises. There is no short cut or medicines without exercise & dieting to take just as mush food as needed for your activities. The food we eat is utilised for our energy needs and the remaining will be stored as fat which leads to obesity. It is better to do some tests. Emotional eaters tend to overeat. •Eat when you're truly hungry rather than when you're tired, anxious or stressed. •Eat slowly. If you eat too fast, you eat more than you need to satisfy your hunger. Your brain needs time to catch up with your stomach. •Plan your meals ahead of time so you make healthy choices. When dining out, check the menu online and decide what you will order before you sit down. Ask for dressings on the side. Opt for foods that are baked, broiled or steamed versus fried or swimming in creamy sauces. Avoid chips and bread baskets—they add unnecessary calories. •Stay hydrated. People often mistake thirst for hunger. •Eat breakfast. If you skip this meal, you'll be starving by lunchtime. Lump discovered please help Hi, I have never had a lump in my breast before I'm 24 years old and I'm worried. The lump is on the same side as where I had an abscess removed recently. It's red and inflamed on the outside and tender to touch. Wondering what it could be, thanks x.

If the lump is red and tender to touch, it could be another abscess. You should get proper antibiotic treatment before going for its removal.

Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9. Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

acne is a common problem in teen. Almost everybody will get pimples during their teen years. First, don't try to self treat acne. Some popular nonprescription acne lotions, cleansers and other skin products can cause a serious reaction (rare), mostly it is normal to have acne in teenage. For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin c (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin e on scars. You may have heard that applying vitamin e to a scar will help it heal faster. But according to a study, applying the nutrient directly onto a scar can actually hinder its healing. In the study, vitamin e either had no effect or made matters worse for 90% of the patients, and 33% who put vitamin e on the skin developed a contact dermatitis. Increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids through a diet significantly rich in fish and seafood results in lower rates of an inflammatory disease like acne. A low-glycemic-index diet also reduces acne risk. I being a both a registered dietitian and doctor have been successfully helping patients with their problems through a holistic approach using customized therapeutic diet and medications. I have very curly hair. It has become impossible to comb my hair and give it a presentable look. I want to straighten it but I know that it would do more harm than good.
