I have keloid on my chest from chicken pox scar from my childhood. It has increased in size with my age. It sometime itches & is ugly to look. What is the best solution for it?

Vaidya Visharad
Ayurveda, Narnaul
Dear Scar are the fibrous tissue form on the skin in order to repair broken tissue. When there is an injury the skin produces more cells in order to grow the punctured skin that is known as scar. Scars always occur when the outer layer of the skin, the epidermis is cut and the injury extends to the dermis. The resulting scar does not have good blood circulation, is sometimes uneven and is less elastic. In addition, major variations in color are possible. Visit us at www.Malhotraayurveda.Com

My hair is so strong. How to silky it?

BHMS
Homeopath,
My hair is so strong. How to silky it?
Use these home treatment for getting soft and silky hair:- 1. Beer works as an excellent hair tonic. The proteins (hops and malt) in beer help repair damaged hair cuticles and provide nourishment to hair follicles. This in turn adds shine and luster to your hair. 1. Wash your hair with shampoo and then apply flat beer from the root to the ends. 2. Massage the beer thoroughly into your scalp using circular motions. 3. Allow it to sit for about five minutes and then rinse it off. 4. Follow this remedy once every two weeks. 2. Coconut oil :-To get shiny hair, it is important to provide nourishment by applying oil to your hair regularly. Coconut oil (organic and unrefined) is one of the best options. It helps restore moisture to dry and damaged hair, in turn making it shiny and healthy. Apply warm coconut oil on your hair, from the root to the ends. Massage for a few minutes and then wrap your hair in a shower cap or towel for at least 30 minutes. Rinse your hair with water, then shampoo and condition like normal. Another option is to add a few curry leaves to two tablespoons of coconut oil. Heat it until warm. When cool, massage the oil gently onto the scalp and hair. Cover with a warm towel for 30 minutes and then wash with a mild shampoo.

Halt Hair Fall While You Can Do It

Hair loss is a mammoth problem that many people are suffering from. Hair fall/loss can affect both men and women. While genes play a vital role, there are usually other reasons as well like, hormonal imbalances, an under-active thyroid gland, nutritional deficiencies and insufficient blood circulatiion to the scalp. We are all naturally blessed with a crown full of hair, while the texture, color and volume may differ.

During middle ages we may experience loss of hair, which can be explained as completion of the life cycle of some hair follicles. Hair keep falling and new hair keeps growing in its place. Hair loss is seen when growth of new hair is hampered. Keep your hair!

Hair fall/loss can be due to variety of causes. However, many of them can be controlled and dealt with. Most common cause is nutrient deficiency which can be rectified by oral medications and supplements. There are medicines available for local application which are also known to give significant results.

Treatments like mesotherapy, microneedling, low-level laser therapy and PRP therapy show significant long term effects. Consulting a specialist and taking treatments and medications will help you in dealing with hair loss.

Here are a few things you could do to keep your hair on for longer:

Keep them Clean: Washing your hair more often and keeping them clear of dirt and dust will keep them healthy for a longer time.

Tie Them up: Tying up your hair prevents them from damage and breakage especially while you sleep.

Choose right Products: The hair oils, shampoos, conditioners and any other products should be chosen after consultation with a trichologist or a dermatologist.

Do not lose time. Losing time would mean losing more hair. Meet a trichologist or a dermatologist right away and find a solution to your problem

I get severe itching near groin area at corners of thigh, which at times stretch to anus region in Mumbai. Outside Mumbai in other dry areas I am much better. The itching goes up with humidity and heat. In winter in Mumbai, I feel better. In the past have applied some skin creams with some steroid, which used to give me temporary relief after application. Now application of such cream has been advised to be stopped as the skin in these areas is getting thinner. The problem is there for last 8 years and often disturbs in my sleep and also during day while in office.

I have a problem for my hairfall for last 3 years. What should I do doctor I am in tension.

BHMS
Homeopath, Sindhudurg
I have a problem for my hairfall for last 3 years. What should I do doctor I am in tension.
Hairfall in men has its genesis in androgenetic alopecia, or Male Baldness which happens due to sensitivity of dihydrotestosterone (a by-product of testosterone). Men get receding hairlines and baldness due to hereditary factors. Stress and lifestyle also has a big role to play in hairfall in men. Higher intake of proteins coupled with exercises can help put a check on hairfall. Most of us dread the thought of breaking endless hair strands each time we comb or brush. With the winter season setting in, dandruff problems go up, as the scalp gets dry, further aggravating hair loss in most people. If you love your hair, like I do, I am sure you must have tried every possible way of preventing hair loss. If you still haven’t seen any satisfactory results, switch to homeopathy. Homeopathy is a form of medicine which mainly aims at triggering the healing process in one’s body. Homeopathy offers quite a few medicines for treating hair loss. To know more about the treatment of hairfall, consult me on Lybrate and get all the solutions on your smartphone.

Hi I m 22yrs old girl I m facing hair fall problem from scalp... Pls advice some medicine
Women lose hair on an inherited (genetic) basis, too, but the female pattern tends to be more diffuse, with less likelihood of the crown and frontal hairline being lost. More women have underlying causes of hair loss than men. These include treatable conditions like anemia and thyroid disease and polycystic ovary syndrom. Women lose hair on an inherited (genetic) basis, too, but the female pattern tends to be more diffuse, with less likelihood of the crown and frontal hairline being lost. first of all you should start taking a healthy and balanced diet. Hair fall is a result of any deficiency of any essential nutrient. 1. Eat colourful fruits and green leafy vegetables. 2. Include more protien rich supplements to your diet. 3. Take phosphorus 200, 5 drops , morning empty stomach, once in week. 4. wiesbaden 200, 5 drops , daily morning empty stomach. 5. Apply Arnica hair growth oil (B &T) on your hair and scalp, thrice in a week. 6. Wash hair with Arnica montana herbal shampoo (SBL) 7. Drink minimum 10 glasses of water per day. 8. Take 10 ml amla juice mixed with half cup of water, at daily night.

How clean and fair his face in some days.

BHMS
Homeopath,
How clean and fair his face in some days.
Hi, Believe me, if you are happy from inside and taking nutritious, healthy food and daily yoga or some kind of exercises, it will be automatically reflected on your face. Yes, the colour which is inherited from your parents/ ancestors, cannot be changed, but you can try to get glow on your face!! Daily Regime: Apart from these, you do follow CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally sunscreen with SPF-30 ? a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare cream may be, 20-30 minutes before going out daily and repeat it's application after every 3-4hrs.) after washing your face daily; use the products as per your skin type. This will change the skin texture and skin tone. In case you do have tanning, apply honey with a dash of lime on your face. Eat right and healthy that too on time, relieve your stress/ tensions, sleep well, stop smoking, as this restricts blood flow to your face and leaves you with a greyish complexion. lead a healthy lifestyle! Apart from this, avoid anger, anxiety, fear which increases stress hormone in the body and subsequently makes your complexion darker! (Hormonal imbalances also plays a major role). If the dull and dark skin tone is due to any underlying ailment or diseases, need to look into the matter. Diet: -Increase your Vitamin C intake (lemon,orange,gooseberry,etc.Fruits/juices, strawberries, sweet peppers, tomatoes, cantaloupe, and green peas). - Eat more Vitamin A (nonfat milk, oysters, and egg yolks, carrots, watermelon, papaya, tomatoes, or other dark colored produce) . If you feel your skin is weak or not tight enough, that usually suggests a lack of Vitamin A. Medicine: You can also use homoeopathic cream - Medicynth's Whitch Hazel daily at night. Home remedies: Apply fresh-squeezed lemon juice to your entire face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes and then wash it off with lukewarm water. After this, rub cucumber slices on your skin to soften and moisturize it. Do this daily or every other day. Another option is squeeze the juice of one-half lemon and mix one to two tablespoons of raw honey in it. Apply it on your face, leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes and then rinse it off. Make a paste of 'Kasturi Manjal' (wild turmeric) with rose petals, saffron and raw milk (which is very effective.
