There are many reasons of not having periods. Pregnancy test is negative. So, rest assured. Consult gynecologist to take drugs for artificial mens and at the same time, start treatment for not having mens by diagnosing the cause.

Am I ttc from 1 yr. Today I have started follicular study and Dr. found small myoma measuring 0.62*0.52. please tell me is this is dangerous? Can I be able to conceive? Am very worried.

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist,
Am I ttc from 1 yr. Today I have started follicular study and Dr. found small myoma measuring 0.62*0.52. please tell ...
0.6 and 0.5 are too small a measurements to be of any consequence. Many a times routine sonography reveals small fibroids, and if they do not change the inner contour of the uterus, then they are mostly" harmless" but there have been reports of patients aborting and in such cases, even if fibroids are small, the abortion is blamed on them! but overall, carry on your follicular studies and be relaxed. These measurements are so small that they cannot possibly harm your chances of fertility. Infact stress and worry would harm more. So be relaxed and stop worrying.

This is about my wife, she is 34 years and around 68 Kgs. She has gained weight drastically in the last 1 year. She started gaining weight after delivering the baby. In the last 1 year, she had baby abort pills to get rid of unwanted pregnancy. I want to understand the reason for this weight gain and how to get rid of this excess weight.

Weight gain is normal after pregnancy. It would require proper assessment to determine the exact cause of this gain. Only then can we start an appropriate treatment & medications (if required).

I am 25 year old and have had recurrent yeast infections since 2014 (have had about 1 every 4-5 months on average). Doctor put me on antibiotics but it kept coming back so we switched to probiotics. The probiotics no longer stop the infections as fast as they used to. Got a vaginal swab done that showed no bacterial infections and pap smear that tested negative for malignancy and lesions. I'm sexually active but always use condoms and get the infections regardless. These infections have left me frustrated and hopeless. Internet has suggested boric acid suppositories as a treatment option. Please suggest.

Dear user. PENILE ITCHING could be due to many factors. Men who are uncircumcised (who have the foreskin remaining around the penis) are prone to balanitis, an inflammation of the foreskin that is often caused by poor hygiene, irritation, or infections. Penile itch is not an emergency, but it may be a sign of a disease that can be transmitted to others. Please consult a doctor for physical investigation which is essential for diagnosis. Take care.

Gynaecologist, Mumbai
Hello Dr, i am trying to get pregnant for the last 3 months, my periods is regular. And it is 28-30 days of cycle. I ...
Pregnancy is possible only on one day of cycle, day of ovulation, In woman with regular cycles of 28 days this occurs on 14 th day after first day of last menstrual period. As body does not behave like mathematics, fertile period is considered as from day 10 to day 17. Intercourse during these days have higher chance of pregnancy. Considering 30 days cycle also fertile days could be 10 to 18. As Pregnancy is possible only on one day of cycle, day of ovulation when ovum is released from ovary of woman. That is why couple should have 12 to 24 cycles of unprotected sex around time of ovulation before going to Gynecologist or infertility specialist for further evaluation and advise.
