Hi, I am both a registered dietitian and a doctor who will help you in losing your weight as well as solve your other health problems through a dietary therapy. Let me know your food intake details. The best diet is one which is healthy and well balanced with foods from all the food groups, and one which is varied and that you can stick to weight loss on some diets can be dramatic in the short term, but there's more of a chance of rebound weight gain. Set yourself a realistic target and aim to lose between (0.5-1.0kg) a week I being a registered dietitian strongly accommodate the patients own preferences without the patient feeling that they are on a diet not compromising the weight management goals. Don't fall for self dieting or fad diets availiable online they have harmful effects in the long run, if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you may not lose as much fat as you would with a more modest rate of weight loss. Instead, you might lose water weight or even lean muscle tissue, since it's hard to burn that many fat calories in a short period. Plan your food according to calory. Take low calory n high fibre food. Avoid fast, fried, oily n spicy food. Take lukewarm water, add lemon n honey n take it empty stomach. Take oats in breakfast. Take green tea 2-3 times in a day. Take salad. Do not skip meals. Do physical activity.

1. Sweet Potato

Hi, one of cousin didn't have uterus, so that she didn't attain puberty. I ve checked in internet, says that 1 in 5000 will suffer by this. Is there any solution for this.

Hi, There is no solution for this as it is a congenital problem. When the organ is not developed in the foetus, nothing can be done later. That is why foetal anamoly scan is done during 20th week of pregnancy to know whether all the organs are formed well and thus detect the defects at that stage itself.

Yes breast cancer may be inherited. About 1 in 220 breast cancer patients may be having inheritable breast cancer which puts family members at a high risk of breast or ovarian cancer.

Day before yesterday, night I ate around 6 custard apples and slept. First of all you r very young at age. The gyming and dumbells should be done aftr 18 or 20 as the heavy excercises may stop your growing height. The other excercise is fine and the supplements may cause you side effects like tiredness and weakness. So I suggest is plzzz stop using supplements nd dumbells for now .once you r lyk 20 or 21 uh shall start this. And running is very good for health as it boosts your stamina nd blood circulation and for your height the weight is gud for this age. Just do normal excercises till you r 20 or 21 den uh shall start with gyming.

According to contemporary medical studies, loss of sexual desire is more common in women than in men. As many as 3 in 10 women have reduced or limited sexual interest in any kind of sexual activity. While the medical term for this problem is Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD), it is generally understood as a loss of libido.

There are multiple factors that contribute to this problem including psychiatric or physical disorders, relationship issues, hormonal disorders etc. Let us look at the causes of this disorder at length:

1. Medical Disorders:


a) There are conditions such as endometriosis, fibroids and thyroid disorders that may have a negative impact on the sexual drive of a woman.

b) Certain medicines such as antidepressants, oral contraceptives, and medicines that lower blood pressure may also negatively impact the sexual drive in women.

2. Hormonal Disorders:

a) Dryness of the vagina and pain during sexual intercourse may affect sexual drive both mentally and physically.

b) After menopause, drop in the count of testosterone hormone also affects sexual drive which can result in loss of libido.

c) With advancing age, the level of androgens decrease, and hence results in a lack of sexual desire.

3. Lifestyle Disorders:

a) In some of the cases, lack of emotional support in a relationship plays a significant role in the loss of libido. Post baby 'coolness' may also act as a driving force for loss in libido.

b) In today's era, changing lifestyle is drastically affecting our lives. Following an unhealthy lifestyle may result in increased weight that may affect self-image, and indirectly may also affect the sexual desire.

c) Stress and job, family pressure and exhaustion may also influence sexual desire of a woman.

4. Psychological factors

a) Increasing cases of depression, anxiety, frustration, stress is also an important cause of loss of libido in the contemporary society.

b) After childbirth, new moms tend to suffer from lack of sleep, insufficient lubrication of the vagina and exhaustion, which may affect her sexual desire.

The first and foremost step towards dealing with it is to make your partner understand your problem. Then, it is important to consult a doctor to find out the underlying cause, thereafter, treatment of the cause can normalize the condition. Since there are multiple causes of the problem, there are different ways by which the loss of libido can be easily managed and treated. Some of them are discussed below:

1. Treatment of Hormonal Disorders: The doctors will suitably treat problems like thyroids or recommend surgical treatment for fibroids to manage HSSD.

2. Change in Medications: Since some of the medications are responsible for the lack of libido, the doctors will replace the medications to reverse this lack.

3. Addressing the psychological factors: Your doctor will either arrange for suitable psychiatric sessions or ask your partner to coordinate mutually.

4. Sex Therapy/Relationship Counseling or Testosterone Therapy: While sex therapy or relationship counseling brings back the interest by effectively counseling the individual, Testosterone therapy involves off-label usage of testosterone hormone since it is not recommended by FDA.

Bad breath can be reduced or prevented if you: - practice good oral hygiene. - brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste to remove food debris and plaque. - don't forget to brush the tongue, too. - replace your toothbrush every 2 to 3 months or after an illness. - use floss or an interdental cleaner to remove food particles and plaque between teeth once a day. - see your dentist regularly -- at least twice a year. He or she will conduct an oral exam and professional teeth cleaning and will be able to detect and treat periodontal disease, dry mouth, or other problems that may be the cause of bad mouth odor. - drink lots of water. This will keep your mouth moist. - chewing gum (preferably sugarless) stimulates the production of saliva, which helps wash away food particles and bacteria.
