Hi * stop running completely or decrease your training. *apply ice to reduce inflammation. *gently stretch your leg muscles. *consider cross-training for a while swim, run in the pool or ride a bike. *when you return to running, increase your mileage slowly, no more than 10 percent weekly. *make sure you wear the correct running shoes do reply for detailed treatment plan. Sir my right knee (ACL) ligament was tore while playing. So I took treatment and get it reconstruct through a doctor. He inserted screw in knee. Now 10th month is going on after operations. But still I am having pain in my knee when I sit in latrine. Specially after running or if I stand for more than an hour. I did many exercises also for this. I am in army so I have to do hard work. Please advise me some medicine or exercise s to overcome this stiffness of knee. In running I have no problem but I have problem in fully bend of leg.

Lybrate-user your weight acording to your height is normal. So pain must b because of some damage to the cartilage of knee joint due to tear of acl. First of all stop using indian toilets. Start useing western toilet. Do not bend your knee more than 90 degree as far as possible. Do some strengthening exe of quadriceps nd halmstring.

It requires detailed investigation and examination. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

My bones are too much week that's why I have pain in joints aur I am unable to do all exercises because of week bones and their pain. Please suggest me what to do to make my bones stronger? I am taking milk and meat's leg soup but my pain is still hurting me. What can I do. Should I may take calcium tablets for a month for making bones stronger. Please suggest me and help me.

Do rest must. Avoid long sitting and toward bending. Heat fermentation twice a day. Sit straight and maintain your posture. Do stretching exercise of spine and legs. 2nd option tk physiotherapy treatment.

I suggest to use kinesiology tape while you are playing cricket (bowling) so it will reduced the extra load on the muscles but k-tape is done only by physiotherapist so consult the sports physio for that near by your location.

Do knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. She may use elastic knee support.

First of all clean gut by Tarunikusumakar chooran 2 tsp at night with warm water once a week. Deep breathing daily. Meditation daily. Holy basil, black pepper, ginger, long pepper to be boiled, drunk warm by adding honey daily.twice. Report after a week for further advise.

Back pain is common among farmers because of the physical nature of the occupation. Several measures can be taken to reduce the risk of a back injury. Many tasks can be modified to relieve stress placed on the back. These may include: Avoid working in awkward positions or standing for long periods of time. When changing directions turn with the feet, not at the waist, to avoid a twisting motion. Wear boots with high-quality insoles to support the ankles and reduce back pain. Use correct lifting posture every time. Use your legs to lift, instead of your back. When carrying items keep them close to your body and make more trips carrying smaller loads. Limit repetitive tasks and chores involving poor posture. Alternating this type of task with less strenuous tasks can be effective at preventing back injuries. Use long-handled tools to increase leverage and reduce the need to bend or reach" Push" rather than" pull" objects. Carts and wheelbarrows are efficient when feeding animals or hauling heavy tools. When in the tractor seat, adjust the seat to position your thighs parallel to the floor. Consider installing mirrors or cameras in equipment to reduce the need to turn. Replace older equipment seat cushions with new ones that have adjustable lumbar support, arm rests and adjustable thigh support. Modify tasks or work methods to reduce the number of times needed to get on and off equipment. Minimize stumbling or fall hazards by practicing good housekeeping methods in all areas of the farm. This includes keeping tractor platforms clear of tools and clutter. Try few things for your back pain: - Apply Ice and Heat Heating pads and cold packs can comfort tender trunks. Most doctors recommend using ice for the first 48 hours after an injury -- particularly if there is swelling — and then switching to heat. You can use whichever you find comforting as long as your skin is protected. -Try to do back strengthening and core stability exercises.

Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

You are too young to suffer from cervical spondylosis. This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. I would like to examine & investigate you in detail. Rule out Hypertension, Diabetes or other metabolic disorder. Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac 100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Most probably you are suffering from oa of knee. Knee surgery-total knee replacement (tkr) is quite safe & gives uniformly good results, in our hands. We have well equipped center in delhi. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Surgery should be done when patient is still active & will be able to take benefit of surgery. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. Kindly show me x- rays before a final decision can be taken. You will be thoroughly investigated before surgery is under taken. Risk in surgery is less than the risk in crossing road.

Hello lybrate-user. At 56 years you should rule osteoarthritis of knees. He needs an Xray of knees to ascertain that, apart from physical examination. Do quadriceps exercises and consult a Rheumatologist.
