My 6 months old daughter is having cough & cold, mostly she is coughing at the time of sleeping.
This looks to be a case of gastro esophageal reflux wherein the ingest food from stomach is regurgitated up and coming up the oesophagus. And part of the material is entering the air pipe (larynx and trachea). We have learnt to give maximum value to parent' s and grand parent' s observations on what they report. In every case there certainly are some substance in them. So I must appreciate you as for being an observant father. Please consult a paediatrician who may ask for some tests like a chest x ray and ultrasonography. In certain cases babies are born with birth defects like diaphragmatic hernia which may cause such situation. You may please show my note to the doctor you consult.

Dengue is a self limiting viral fever and maximum time for fever to come down is 5-7 days. Treatment is only ORS type water, weak tea,juices and light food. liver manufactures platelets and if we load liver with heavy antibiotics or heavy food, fever takes long time to come down. Take basic care of hygeine/bath and wear only cottons,stay indoors so that you do not sweat more and loose water. dehydration is a side effect, drink lots of water.

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend day before yesterday but he did NOT finish inside me. I took an I pill immediately after that. The day I had sex was the 17th day after my last period (fertile window). Also I suffer from PCOS. Is there anything to worry about? My next period is due on 18th but I am always irregular. Please help.

SInce you have taken i-pill, no need to worry. Your periods can be delayed both becoz of PCOS and I-pill which causes irregular periods.

For headache take tablet paracetamol 650 mg eight hourly and I will suggest you to buy a steam inhaler machine of crescent company and take a flow of steam (of plain water only) over the forehead through the inhaler and can repeat the process after eight hours as and when required.

You might be having acute fissure. This at times takes time to heal, fissure is a kind of tear in the mucosa which is very painful. Normally if the fissure is not deep it responds to medicines and diet control. Avoid junk food, take more of liquids and take laxative to avoid constipation. You can wait for one week more with medicines and after that still you have pain and problem surgery is the only answer. Any general surgeon can take care of this problem. Wishing you good health.

Median renal lengths were 11.2 cm on the left side and 10.9 cm on the right side. Median renal volumes were 146 cm3 in the left kidney and 134 cm3 in the right kidney. Renal size decreased with age, almost entirely because of parenchymal reduction. If you have no problems you need not worry or do a check up with the doctor who removed the other kidney.

You have to do deep bread thing exercises which will bring down your blood pressure. Also you have you keep taking five minutes break from your work every one hour in which you can close your eyes and imagine something refreshing like nature, etc. Take walks and tell yourself it's a temporary phase, once you get used to this job you will not find it as hard or hefting, everything needs time to settle. #1 – “The Ultimate Stretcher” Grasp the head of your phallus (glans) firmly. Pay attention not to cut off too much blood circulation (you should not feel any discomfort). Pull and stretch it outwards in front of you with enough force to feel painless stretch inside the shaft and base of your willy. Hold it in that position for 10 to 30 seconds. Rest for a while and then repeat. Do this daily for 5 to 10 minutes. Extra tip: You should stretch it to all sides – up in the direction of your stomach, down between your thighs, to the left and the right as well. Do this for the same amount of time as instructed above. “The Thumb Stretcher” Grasp the tip of your “manhood” with one hand. Hold it firmly, but naturally! Again, do not cut off too much blood circulation or cause yourself any discomfort. Use your other hand to place thumb at the base of your penis. Then start to pull it away until you feel that stretch in it. Hold this position for around 10-15 seconds, then release. Have a short break and then repeat this whole process again. You can continue doing this for 2½ up to 5 minutes in one session. My advice: You can do one or two sessions during the day. Then you need to start stretching and rotate your little buddy at the same time. You should do this for 30 seconds for clockwise direction. Then you can switch your hands (if you want to) and repeat that movement for another 30 seconds in the counter-clockwise direction. All this makes for one session, and you can do five a day.
