I am 30 years old . My self sumit from Ludhiana . So many times my head ache in forehead and in side area of head . And so many times my headache cause of a lot of thought. But I am trying do thing less . But I am not success in this activities. I am taking clonazepam 2 to 3 tablets in week . But I don't have got any relief from this dies. Some times my blood pressure is 90/138.

In order to prevent tension headaches, you need to reduce your anxiety. The first thing you need to do is make sure that you understand your headaches are a result of anxiety. For those with severe anxiety, or that suffer from panic attacks, it's not uncommon to get a rush of anxiety when you suffer from a headache, or any kind of weird sensation in your head. For example, a quick, sharp, shooting pain in the head that happens in a moment and leaves quickly can easily be caused by anxiety, but has a tendency to trigger anxiety attacks in those with panic disorder. You need to take time to convince yourself of this thought, because one of the main issues with tension headaches is that the fear it's something worse leads to further stress and further tension. In addition, you need to follow it up with anxiety reduction strategies: •Make sure that you're exercising, eating healthy, and drinking plenty of water. Poor eating habits and inactivity genuinely lead to more anxiety, and this may easily be contributing to your anxiety and headaches. •Learn anxiety reduction strategies for before your anxiety is out of control. Tension headaches can be stopped if they're stopped when the headaches are mild. As soon as you start feeling stressed, start deep breathing or progressive muscle relaxation to gain more control over the amount of stress you experience. •Always try to get enough sleep. Sleep is one of life's main coping strategies, and a lack of sleep contributes to further stress, and further eye strain (both of which lead to more tension headaches. My husband is having skin problems and the doctors have identified that it is psoriasis. The skin is very dry with dark black patches and he is not able to eat or come in contact with any chemicals. So he eats with spoon and uses gloves to even wash clothes. Let me know the cure for this.

Use medicated soap homoepathic and apply olive oil in night and in day apply aloe vera calandula cream. Drink 3-4 litres water per day. Take 6 khajure wid milk in morning. For medicines I want complete case so contact with a glucose test.

Hello Doctor, My mom is facing a problem that she has burning sensation in throat while lying on bed or sleeping. Local doctor suggested that acid goes up due to acidity. please suggest some solution.

Hi. Yes, exactly! The acid in our stomach comes back from stomach in to the oesophagus. So, ask your mother to take her meals 2 hrs. before lying down or sleeping as immediately lying down after the meals can make the condition worse. Also, let her avoid fried, spicy, chilly, oily food. Take less spicy food, more of seasonal fruits to be consumed, more salads, more water, (but avoid water immediately after the meals as well the beverages), if she has any stress ask her to do breathing exercises sp. Pranayam & Anulom-Vilum. Medication: Homoeopathic medicines - Natrum Phos. 6x/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr. after the meals and Carbo Ve. 30/ twice daily - both for 20 days. Revert me back.

I am 51 years old male I want to know about my diabetic problem causes heridetery, what can I do for better control of that?

If you have family history (mother, father, uncle aunt, cousins, siblings) of diabetes than probably you have diabetes because of hereditary. To have better control of diabetes you must keep control of your daily caloric control especially avoid direct sugar and jeggary and do not consume oil more than 3 to 4 teaspoon /day. Regular 30 to 45 minutes exercise will also help you.

Alcohol - 10 Healthy Foods that You Can Eat With It!

It is a known and proven fact that eating while consuming alcohol is necessary. One tends to grow hungrier, the more he or she drinks alcohol. This is because alcohol has the attribute to stimulate one’s appetite in such a way that one would have you craving for food that is rich in salt and high in fibre. Consuming only alcohol ignoring the hunger would lead to several diseases like pancreatitis and issues with the liver.

Though the appetite of an individual during alcohol consumption tends to incline towards snacks like pizza, french fries, nuts and cheese cubes, it is wise to opt for healthier food choices. Salty food can worsen the dehydration effects of the body. And as the body tends to be dehydrated during drinking, it is better to avoid salty food. High-fibre food items are not good for the health either. It delays the digestion process, which is not a good sign for the body. Also, it is also not advisable to eat food in large portions before going to bed, especially after alcohol intake.

There is a variety of healthy food that one can eat along with alcohol

  1. Soup: A clear soup, like chicken clear soup or vegetable clear soup, which has a broth-like texture, is a healthy choice. Creamy soup with cream of chicken or cream of mushroom should be avoided as it would make one heavy, thus delaying the digestion process.
  2. Rice: Plain rice is said to be one of the best food that is easy to digest, paired up with a light vegetable dish. It is very nutritious as well.
  3. Chicken sandwich: Grilled chicken sandwich without cheese and mayo is a healthy food tip as it contains sodium.
  4. Popcorn: Popcorn does not contain fat, neither is it high-fibre. It is the best low-calorie food to go along with alcohol and it tastes really good too.
  5. Wheat crackers: Wheat crackers contain whole grains. It is full of complex carbohydrates, which help the alcohol to absorb easily. It also consists of Vitamin B, which like potassium, gets reduced with the consumption of alcohol.
  6. Banana: It is rich in potassium. Though an individual would never have a banana along with alcohol, it is healthy as the level of potassium should be taken care of while drinking alcohol.
  7. Wheat bread: Wheat bread toast can be consumed with alcohol without butter or cheese. It is an alternative to wheat crackers for those who do not prefer it.
  8. Oats: Cooked food is easy to digest with alcohol, so a pot of cooked oatmeal can be a healthy accompaniment. It can be spiced up a bit to add flavour.
  9. Salad: Salad is refreshing and healthy at the same time. It can be bland, but it is better to have healthy salad as an accompaniment than having salty food with alcohol.
  10. Milk cereal: Cereal, especially whole grain cooked with low-fat milk, is healthy.

dear ,u have not mentioned clearly the symptoms,,as to at what times headache occurs,whether associated with vomiting sensation..whether unilateral or bilateral..... a CT scan of head would be preferable before doing spinal fluid test ...the spinal fluid test is safe...one can experience heaviness in head for some hours after spinal fluid test ..remain in lying down position for 1/2 - 1 hour after the procedure

How much weight loss you have done? if it more than 5 kg with in 2 months than we have to think some other causes. Weight loss can be due to stress or some infection also. For this you can have investigations done like cbc, esr, widal. These are the basic tests and send me the results on private questions. Eat light and bland diet for sometime. Avoid sweets, spicy food and avoid outside food. Drink homemade juices and shakes more. Avoid uncooked sugars.

Ramandeepji, The things described by you suggest that the patient is having chronic renal failure, which is one of the severe complications pf long standing diabetes. This comes about when blood sugar is not well controlled for many years. Now the options are limited. He has to be probably shifted on to Insulin injections for stricter blood glucose control (Fasting closer to 100 mg and PP <180 mg and HbA1c% <7). Plus there has to be strict monitoring of salt intake (not more than 2 g a day), taking food providing less protein. Dialysis has to be continued. His BP also should be very closely monitored. There is no cure for any of these conditions, proper medication and appropriate diet and drug therapy is the only option.
