Dear Lybrateuer, -The normal intake of coffee should be 300-400 mg per day, your intake is much more than that, it may cause side effects like restlessness, irritability, headache, disturbance in heart rhythm, loss of appetite -have a snack like a fruit or handful of mixed nuts which are more energy giving & do not have any adverse side effects.

I have infection in my groan area from last 3-4 months. Its itchy and dark. I don't find time to go to an actual clinic, so I've taken some ointments from Chemists but they're not working properly. Please help.

Hi Doctor, I am 28/Female I recently detected 3 genital warts. I got 3 tests done- HIV (Non reactive), VDLR (non reactive), HB (13.2). I have a few questions: 1. What are the chances of having a negative pap smear test? 2. I read on many forums that this virus clears up on its own. Will it still clear up itself if I have had genital warts? Is there any cure to boost up my immune system to protect me against the recurrence of these warts? 3. I am unmarried. Will I never be able to have normal sex (without protection) with my husband without the fear of passing on the virus 4. I am past the age of vaccination. Can I still take the vaccination to fight against HPV? 5. Is it possible that I didn't have HPV and warts are caused by some other reason?

Vaccination will not be very effective, once you r sexually active and already have infection. 5. Genital warts are generally transmitted through sexual contact. If you do not have such history of exposure, get your self checked again to confirm the diagnosis. Do 1.no alcohol 2. Reduce body wt 3. No smoking/ tobacco 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. Less sugar, potato, rice 5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 7. Meditation daily for 10 mts. 6-8 hrs of sleep at night 8. Expose your body to sun for 15-20 mts daily after some oil massage to get vit d. 9. If the penis size is more than 3 inches when erect then you have an adequate length of penis. If less then you need to get examined personally and get investigated for causes and treatment. Early discharge called as premature ejaculation during sex can have multiple reasons behind it, most probable reason is anxiety and stress. Premature ejaculation can be effectively treated with medications and practising certain exercises that help in delaying ejaculation during sex.

Hello, there could be many reason to get swelling in the foot, most common is hypertension (bp), then it can happen due to varicose vein, kidney problems, long hours of sitting and standing, lack of physical activity and exercises. If the swelling is not associated with pain: 1. If you are on bp medication, you can check with your cardiologist if a change in medicine needed. 2. Reduce salt intake specially as seasoning in fruits, salads etc. 3. If you sit for long hours, take frequent breaks in between and walk of 2-3 min. 4. If you stand in kitchen for long hours, opt of sitting for works like cleaning, cutting and chopping. 5. If you have varicose vein, which is evident as blue thick veins around leg and calf, use stockinette. 6. You can lie down with 2-3 pillow under the heel for 15-20 min. Minimum, in a way that your leg is above the heart level.

1.For your age pain chest could be due to anxiety, stress, Physical and mental strain,hyper acidity, muscular problem 2. Avoid stress and strain 3.Do regular exercise, reduce your weight if over weight. 4.Control your diet. Avoid oily/spicy/fried and junk food,high calorie and cholesterol rich diet.Take small frequent meals(5-6 meals/day instead of three heavy meals).If you have hyper acidity take one tablet of pan 40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days 5.Do Yoga, Meditation, deep breathing exercise like pranayama etc. It will calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress. 6.Have sound sleep for 7-8 hours daily. 7.Avoid smoking,alcohol, excess tea/coffee, if you are having 8. Drink plenty of water and take rest 9. Hi before washing hair, apply coconut oil and gently massage. You can do this previous night. Don't use antidandruff shampoo at all. Use mild shampoo and conditioner. Hi make a paste of neem leaves and apply on the targeted pimples. If you cannot get fresh neem leaves, try to get some dried bottled neem leaves, steep for 10 minutes in warm water and use as a paste. Apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water.

Leg cramps for your age could be due to a) peripheral neuropathy, muscle strain, dehydration, over exertion, b) compression of nerve as in lumbar stenosis, mineral deficiency (calcium, magnesium, potassium), treatment 1. Take good nourishing diet with plenty of green leafy vegetables and, fruits 2. Drink plenty of water with electral/ors powder 3. Take multi vitamin supplement like one capsule of polybion daily 3. Massaging cramped muscle, take pain killer like one tablet of crocin advance sos after food up to a maximum of three tablets per day 4. Hot fomentation by heating pad, warm water bath 5. Stretching exercise etc 6. Take adequate rest and avoid over exertion.

STRESS CONTROL There are many ways to tame your stress and keep it at bay. Here are 20 tips to tame your stress today, and keep the stress monsters at bay. 1. Perform diaphragmatic or deep breathing exercises. 2. Lie face down on the floor and begin breathing deeply and slowly, with your hands resting under your face. Do this for five minutes. 3. Sit in a reclining chair. Put a hand on your abdomen and a hand on your chest. As you breathe, make sure the hand on your abdomen is moving up and down rather than one on your chest. If the hand on your abdomen is moving you are breathing deeply and slowly. 4. Try progressive muscle relaxation or “deep muscle” relaxation. Progressively tense and relax each muscle group in your body. Learn the difference between muscle tension and relaxation. 5. Meditate. Use visualization or imagery to help you learn to be one with your thoughts. Sit quietly with your eyes closed, imagining the sights, sounds and smells of your favorite place, such as a beach or mountain retreat. 6. Exercise regularly or take up yoga. 7. Consult a psychologist about the use of biofeedback 8. Make time for music, art or other hobbies that help relax and distract you. 9. Learn to identify and monitor stressors. Come up with an organized plan for handling stressful situations. Be careful not to overgeneralize negative reactions to things. 10. Make a list of the important things you need to handle each day. Try to follow the list so you feel organized and on top of things. Put together a coping plan step by step so you have a sense of mastery. 11. Keep a list of the large and little hassles in your day versus the major stressful events in your life. This helps you focus on the fact that you’re keeping track of and managing those as well as you can. 13. Set aside a time every day to work on relaxation. 14. Avoid using caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, junk food, binge eating and other drugs as your primary means for coping with stress. While they can be helpful once in awhile, using them as your only or usual method will result in longer-term problems, such as weight problems or alcoholism. 15. Learn to just say, “No” occasionally. It won’t hurt other people’s feelings as much as you think and is simply a method to be more assertive in your own life, to better help you meet your own needs. 16. Get the right amount of sleep. For most people, this is seven to nine hours a night. 17. Cultivate a sense of humor; laugh. 18. Research has shown that having a close, confiding relationship protects you from many stresses. 19. Don’t run from your problems! This only makes them worse. 20. Talk to your family and friends. See if they can help. If these tips don’t help, or you’ve tried a lot of them with little luck in better taming the stress in your life, it may be time to consider taking it up a notch. A mental health professional — such as a psychologist — can help teach you more effective methods for handling stress in a healthy way in your life. Such psychotherapy is short-term and time-limited, with a focus on helping you better deal with stress. Remember — we do have control over the stress and choices we make in our lives. It sometimes takes a little practice and effort to put some of these techniques into play in your life. Do not think too much. Avoid tea/coffee alcohol, smoking spicy food. Life style changes and food habbits can solve your problem easily. Chew your food properly. Avoid outside food. Walk about 3-5 kms daily. There should be gap of 2hrs after dinner and sleep. Small and frequent meals is of help. Keep your blood sugar controlled. Raise your bed about 4" from headend side. Get your gastroendoscopy done. Take tab nexpro-l 1tab daily. Consult doctor. Edit.
