Hair fall is a very common phenomenon that plagues millions of people around the globe. Most of you take supplements of vitamin on a regular basis as it aids the build-up of new hair and skin cells. Read on to find out how exactly do the various vitamins help your hair: 1.Vitamin A: This vitamin controls the production of retinoic acid in your hair follicle. It is not only helpful for skin care but stimulates hair growth. It is immensely fruitful in moisturizing your hair and keeping it healthy. Vitamin A is usually found in sweet potatoes, carrots, tuna, lettuce, mango, sweet red peppers, green leafy vegetables and spinach. 2.Vitamin B: Variants of this, such as B12, aid in hair growth by managing stress. Vitamin B is found in fruits such as oranges and papayas, and beans. 3.Vitamin C: This vitamin helps you absorb iron from the food you eat which is an absolute essential for hair growth. It also boosts the synthesis of collagen that is required to repair the damage and sustain the structure of your hair. Fruits such as papayas, guavas, lemons, sweet lime, orange, kiwi, vegetables such as broccoli, yellow bell peppers and leafy vegetables are replete with Vitamin C. 4.Vitamin D: This vitamin rejuvenates the hair cells in order to form new shafts of hair. Vitamin D is found in dairy products, mushrooms, soy milk, tofu, and cheese. Vitamin D is also naturally made by your body when you expose your skin to the sun, and is called the sun-shine vitamin. 5.Vitamin E: This aids in stimulating capillaries and enhancing blood circulation on the scalp. This additionally contributes to hair growth due to its high anti-inflammatory properties and antioxidant content. Certain foods loaded with Vitamin E are pumpkin, broccoli, olive oil, sunflower seeds, almonds, avocado, tofu and spinach. 6.Vitamin B5: It is also known as Panthenol, is a vital ingredient that is used in medicines to regulate hair fall. Foods enriched with Vitamin B5 are sweet potatoes, sunflower seeds, avocados, cheese and mushrooms. Other Ways to Help Hair- We have gone over the vitamins that may be important for the health of your hair. But lifestyle changes can help just as much. Try: 1.Cutting back on gels, blow-drying, and brushing hair when wet 2.Lowering your stress by exercising at least 30 minutes a day 3.Drinking enough water, 6-8 glasses a day Being mindful of the foods and drinks you consume, the products you use, and the way you manage stress, can all help improve the well-being of your hair. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult me.

How so I lose my weight my weight is 67 kg and I am 15 year old can you please tell me how to do it.

How so I lose my weight my weight is 67 kg and I am 15 year old can you please tell me how to do it.
You can lose weight easily if you are patient and determined to shed those extra kilos. You just have to alter your daily routine, watch what you eat and be physically active. This requires you to be on your weight loss commitment for quiet long. For a start please follow: 1.Cut down the excess carbs. If you want to lose weight you should start by avoiding sugar and starch (like bread). A low carb diet reduces your hunger and makes it easier to eat less. And it might even increase your fat burning at rest. 2.Don’t skip meals. Skipping meals will not make you lose weight faster. That strategy backfires because your body thinks food is in short supply, so it slows your metabolism in order to conserve energy. Over time, the result is that when you do eat — even if you consume the same foods as always — your body will be slower to use the calories as fuel, thus creating a backlog of unwanted pounds. 3.Stay hydrated. You've heard it before, and you'll hear it again. That's because drinking 64 ounces of water daily is one of the easiest ways to speed up weight loss. Your body needs water in order to efficiently metabolize stored fat. When you shortchange your supply, you're likely to slow down that process, meaning it's more difficult for you to burn calories. An easy eight glasses a day (at least!) will keep your system running smoothly. 4.Start exercising. Strength training builds lean muscle tissue, which burns more calories — at work or at rest — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The more lean muscle you have, the faster you'll slim down. How do you start strength training? Try some push-ups or a few squats or lunges. Use your free weights to perform simple biceps curls or triceps pulls right in your home or office. Do these exercises three to four times per week, and you'll soon see a rapid improvement in your physique. 5.Go for an evening walk. An evening activity may be particularly beneficial because many people's metabolism slows down toward the end of the day. Thirty minutes of aerobic activity before dinner increases your metabolic rate and may keep it elevated for another two or three hours, even after you've stopped moving. What that means for you: Those dinner calories have less of a chance to take up permanent residence on your hips. 6.Take adequate rest. You should also make an effort to get enough good sleep, preferably every night. Strive to wake up refreshed of your own accord, independently of the alarm clock. If you’re the kind of person who always gets brutally woken up by the alarm ringing, you might never be giving your body adequate rest. 7.Supplement vitamins and minerals. Nutrient-dense, good food is certainly the foundation of weight loss. But an adequate amount of vitamin D can be difficult to ingest via food. In the case of a lack of sun (such as during the darker months of autumn and winter), it’s wise to supplement for multiple health reasons – and perhaps even for your weight.

Hi I married in 2011, same year i had abortion for 8weeks, again conceived in 2014 jan, but in july 2014 again miscarriage, due to watering,, now again am pregnent, 18th week, how do i take care? am taking gardinal 60mg will there be any side effects for baby?

Gardenal definitely has some side effects in baby. But if you stop it, you may get epileptic attack, that is detrimental to you as well as your baby. Hope, your gynaecologist has advised you the number of tests (blood and USG) to detect the defects in the baby (which are very easily detected at this stage)... Now, regarding your previous miscarriage, I don't know if you had undergone investigations to find out the cause of miscarriages (ideally to be done before pregnancy). Now, you don't have much to do except taking rest, avoiding strenuous works and depending on the cause of the miscarriage (if the cause was known) some drugs and even some operation (cerclage) can be done. All the best

Tooth Replacement Options

Certified Implantologist, BDS

Tooth Replacement Options
There are several options available to you if you've lost one or more teeth.

Millions of adults have lost one or more of their teeth due to oral diseases (such as cavities or gum disease) or injury. Missing teeth can make chewing difficult, cause problems speaking, and impact a person's sense of self-esteem. That's why seeing a dentist about tooth replacements, which may include dental implants, bridges, or dentures, can be an important part of maintaining your dental health.

Tooth Replacement: Dental Implants

Dental implants are artificial tooth roots that a periodontist inserts into your jaw to replace lost teeth. Putting in dental implants involves the surgical placement of a metal post into the bone underneath your gums. A replacement tooth, called a crown, will be attached to the post, giving the appearance of a natural tooth. In cases where you are missing multiple teeth, or all of your teeth, dental implants can be used in conjunction with bridges or dentures to make these tooth replacements more secure.

Dental implants are often a preferred tooth replacement option because they do not affect the adjacent teeth like a bridge does. Dental implants also look and feel like natural teeth, and are more secure than removable dentures.

But not everyone is a candidate for dental implants. To receive dental implants, you must be in good overall health, your jawbone must be able to adequately hold the implants in place, and your gum tissue should be healthy and free of disease. So, in some cases, a bridge or dentures without dental implants may be a better choice.

Tooth Replacement: Dental Bridges

A dental bridge, which is also called a fixed partial denture, may be a tooth replacement option if you are missing one or more teeth. Dental bridges get their name because they "bridge" the gap between your missing tooth or teeth and your surrounding teeth. Your dentist will bond the bridge onto the teeth that surround your gap.

In addition to fixed bridges, there are two other types of dental bridges:

Removable bridges. If you have a removable bridge, you will be able to remove it, clean it, and put it back in yourself.
Implant bridges. An implant bridge is attached to a dental implant or implants.
Dental bridges are made from various materials, including gold, alloys, and porcelain. They can help maintain the shape of your face and the integrity of your bite, and allow you to chew, speak, and smile with more ease and confidence.

Tooth Replacement: Dentures

For people who have lost all or most of their teeth, dentures, or false teeth, may be the best tooth replacement option. There are two types of dentures:

Complete dentures. This type of denture is used when you have no teeth remaining, or when your remaining teeth need to be removed. They cover your upper and lower gums. If you have teeth removed, your dentist will give you an immediate denture to wear for six to eight weeks, until your gums have healed and a conventional denture can be custom designed for you.
Overdentures. These are removable dentures that can be used if you still have some remaining natural teeth, or have dental implants. Overdentures should only be used if your remaining teeth or dental implants are able to provide adequate support.
Like dental bridges, dentures can help you maintain your facial shape and your self-esteem. It may take some time before you're able to chew and speak normally again, but these skills will improve with practice.

If you are missing teeth, talk with your dentist about whether dental implants, bridges, or dentures may be options for you.

Food that increases cholestrol level is strictly prohibited in heart patients. If you can keep a check on your cholestrol level by good workout and strict diet, then you may have such foods occasionlly. But still I would advice you to avoid such foods.

I want to reduce my weight and I want to reduce my stomach so which diet I follow please suggest me doctor.
Thanks for the query. Firstly it is important to understand that weight /fat loss involves sensible eating. You have to eat the right foods at the right time. Eat small but frequent meals.     Reduce main meals by a small amount. Take a glass warm water before meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. You cannot work on a specific body part. You have to work on overall fat loss and toning. Drink a glass of lime water in the mornings to flush out your system & avoid bloating. Include exercises that tone your back and abdominal muscles too. Add to your exercise crunches, pushup, leg flies, planks exercise. All the so called fad diets and just doing singular ab exercises or ab machines will not give you targeted results. The fats will remain as it is. It's all about overall work out and balanced diet. Lastly be committed.                        Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing.     It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets will only give you muscle and bone loss. The fats will remain as it is. So, try to first follow this seemingly simple tips.

As you were healthy before and lost 20 kg, which suggest that you r suffering from some chronic illness which you r not aware of. You must have already been trying to gain weight but not succeded. You should get your self examined with the tests like cbc, chest xray, ultrasound etc. Tuberculosis is one possibility.
