Get your refraction done and wear spectacles eat green veggies. Carrots. Strain less your eyes. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularily if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. If needed wear corrective spectacles. These r few things you can take care of. Otherwise as such no options available which wd increases your eyesight.

Hello Doctor, I am 22 year old and my eye sight is getting weaker. Its -3.25 for both eyes and around 0.25 decrease in the sight. I use contact lenses when I am outside and usually wear my spectacles at home. Help me in getting my vision back and stop it from decreasing further.

You must use contact lenese and spectacles regularly. Eat lot of gree vegetables, fruits nd dry fruits. Bidam.

Red eye has many causes. You have to see if it is associated with blurring of vision, pain, discharge and other complaints. But commonly its allergic or infective in origin ie allergic or infective conjunctivitis. Which has simple treatment protocol. But still its wise to see an ophthalmologist for a thorough slit lamp examination to rule out other differentials for red eye.

There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 18 years so your number will not increase much now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. As you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.

Glasses, contact lenses and surgery are the only three options for good vision if you having spectacle power unfortunately there are no natural medications to remove spectacles permanently. you can either try contact lenses or plan for refractive lasik laser surgery

Hello. There is no medication or food for improving eye sight or to get rid of glasses. Get your vision tested and wear glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. How to Have the Perfect Vision? Doctor Recommended Tips

The quality and sharpness of vision are generally measured with a Snellen chart. The Snellen chart shows letters of logically smaller size. Perfect vision is 20/20. This implies the patient or subject sees the same line of letters at twenty feet that a typical individual sees at twenty feet.

Here are a few doctor recommended tips that can be followed in order to achieve a perfect vision. These are as follows:

1. Eat right for good vision
Taking good care of your eyes begins with the food that you eat. Foods, for example, fatty acids, lutein, zinc and vitamins C and E may avert age related vision and eyesight problems, for example, macular degeneration and cataract as shown by certain studies. Eating these foods daily can lead to healthy eyesight. Following are some of the nutrients that can help us do so:

  • Green vegetables, for example, spinach, kale, and collards
  • Salmon and fish
  • Eggs, nuts, beans, and other non-meat protein sources
  • Oranges and different citrus natural products or juices
  • Shellfish and pork

2. Quit smoking
Smoking makes you more inclined to get cataract, optic nerve damage and macular degeneration. The more times you attempt to stop smoking, the more probable you are to succeed.

3. Wear shades
The right sort of shades will shield your eyes from the sun's bright (UV) beams. An excess of UV exposure makes you more inclined to get cataracts and macular degeneration. Pick shades that piece ninety nine to hundred percent of both UVA and UVB beams. Wraparound lenses shield your eyes from the side. Spellbound lenses diminish the glare when driving. Some life style modifications and you ll b fine. Put your computer at the level of your eyes, after every 30-45 min of computer work you need to look at a far point. This will help.

For maximizing the benefits of the above vegetables, it is best to have then lightly cooked rather than raw. Cooking or steaming breaks down the cells, making it simpler for the body to absorb these nutrients from the foods. Aim to eat at least 2 to 4 servings or more of these foods every day to ensure that you are getting enough of these 5 powerful nutrients.
