I had sex with my gf without condom. Always I was ejaculating outside but today by mistake I think little bit I ejaculated inside. What to do and how to confirm whether she will get pregnant. Actually she was having period this time only as last mensuration cycle was 27 april but this time it got delayed. Will this also lead that she will not get pregnant.

I want to ask that is breast pressing very tightly and harshly for long time can cause any severe damage to breast? Or not;! Please tell! What r the risk it can cause! As during foreplay my bf presses my breast very tightly and harshly with both hands for long time. Unless he press, squeeze or suck very hard, no harm will come. So if you have pain or if he bruise you, you need to tell him to slow down. It is your responsibility to tell him that. If you enjoy it and it feels good, just keep it that way. It can be a lot of fun having your breasts fondled. Some women can even have an orgasm from it.

Hello. My friend ,she had unprotected sex with her boyfriend. In may. and now she also did pregnancy test ,its showing positive result and she too did not got period since last two month . . She is 19 year old. What should we do? We want abortion. please suggest.

She needs to undergo a sonography to confirm the pregnancy and ascertain the no of weeks. If less than 7 wks she can abort by abortion pills. Also she will some basic tests like hmg, blood group, hiv.

Hi lybrate user, yes their is possibility of getting pregnant with unprotected intercourse. Also risk of sexually transmitted diseases If you do sex without condom. If you want to try without condom then try in safe period.

Hi mam. My age 28 I got married. Its over 10 month completed. I have problem. Last 3 month I have lite spotting for 10 days before my periods. It shown only one day one time only. Only lite spotting. May I know the reason. Also I want to get pregnancy. Give me the suggestion. Also last 5 month I have irregular period. For 5days late my period. please help.

This is called irregular ripening. But still you need to rule out pregnancy but urine pregnancy test kit at home. If negative, then go for internal check up and investigations to a gynaecologist. A scan for follicular study. Hormone profile. Husband semen and tubal patency.

Hi. I bought a-kare kit for abortion and the pharmacist told me to take 2 misoprostol at night then 2 in the morning. But when I read the manual and searched the Internet is found that all four misoprostol should be taken at once. What should I do. Two years back I took the same dosage of pragnet kit but bled only for 1 day. And then I took another medication from another doctor.

Wrong advice given by chemist and surprisingly by Internet also remember being slow and steady kit has 5 tablets one looks different from the other 4 take one tablet immediately rest 4 are identical, to be taken morning and evening, gap of 12 hours. Pain may start after tablet 1 but full course as written on pack to be followed bleeding continues for 10 days after tablets, see a doctor as some tiny pieces can be retained and they're not visible on ultrasound take care these are high dose hormonal tablets and can interfere with the normal cycle.

The pill was taken on 29th of march (within 24 hours) and her periods are due for 10th of april she already had some white discharge and abdominal pain initially. So when can we expect the periods and how l9ng is it fine if delayed.

If menses gets delayed by 7 days you should do urine test for pregnancy. Menses can come irregular after the pill and pill is not 100%, it is meant to be used only in case of emergency only. As she had symptoms like menses then it should be round the corner and wait till 7 days of missed period.

I was in a novelon 21 day pill pack from june 21st. I missed the second last pill pack of june which I doubled with the last. Took a pill free break of 6 days on which I had menses from 5-8th july and from 8th july I started with the new pack. I had protected intercourse on 9th but used the condom thrice dobt know if he had ejaculated or not but the condom dint break. I had protected intercourse on 14th. I never missed a pill until 21st july which I took it along with the next pill on 22nd july. I had a very light bleeding on the morning of 22nd july which I stopped as soon as I doubled it. I never missed a pill since then. My pill pack ended on 28th july and on 1st of aug I had withdrawal bleeding which was normal withdrawal bleed and continued upto 6th. I took 3 pregnancy test after tht last pregnancy test was on 12th july and all of them were negative. I had last protected intercourse on 14th of july. Am I safe? Was that light bleeding on 22nd morning a breakthrough bleeding or implantation bleeding. I am not facing any symptoms. Except I was too tensed on the previous month and I was not feeling to have anything to eat. But as the tension subside everything has become normal. M I safe? Do I need to do any other hpt or blood test?

You had you normal period from 1st to 6th august so there are no chances of pregnancy your bleeding on 22 can be because of slight disturbances in the hormonal level because if missing the pill nothing to worry be more conscious in future with your pills.

7 Life-changing New Year Resolutions for a Happier and Healthier You

Chances are you make plenty of resolutions each year, but don’t stick to them for various reasons including that some of them are unrealistic or not in your capacity that year: resolutions are easily made and with good intentions too but not easily kept. This time around, why not make some healthy resolutions you can not only actually stick to, but that will also transform your life for the better? Choose what is suitable, but when you do, stick to it like your life depends on it: today that is not an understatement but a fact of life. Good health is equal to a good life. Here are a few gems towards that goal:

1. Include more healthy foods into your daily diet
How often do you find yourself munching on junk food compulsively, just because you are hungry? You may be fully aware of the fact that this affects your health adversely, but still are unable to change your habit. This new year, be strict with yourself and choose healthier options. Abstain from fast foods and have more home cooked meals containing colorful vegetables: the more colorful the better. Replace chips with fruits for snack time.

2. Increase your amount of water intake
Drinking about 8–10 glasses of water every day is necessary to cleanse and detoxify your body, but do you actually drink that much honestly? With the onset of the New Year, make it a habit to drink water instead of quenching your thirst with soda or any other artificially sweetened beverages. If you don’t like having water every time, you may opt for freshly squeezed fruit juices or healthy tender coconut water as well. When we want to wash our bodies externally, we take a bath. To bathe the body from the inside, we need to flush out our system drinking lots of water, everyday.

3. Ensure that your body gets some physical activity daily
You may have set unrealistic workout targets for yourself in the previous years, but this year set more achievable targets. Design a routine for yourself, which consists of some fun and easy physical activities like swimming, dancing, jogging or simply climbing the stairs instead of taking a lift, apart from joining the gym, which can be tedious for some. Do these simple things daily and watch the positive turn your health takes.

4. Stay away from multitasking - at least while eating
If you check your Smartphone while eating, make a resolution this year to never do it again. Abstain from multitasking at least while you are sitting with your family at the dining table. Studies suggest that people who observe their surroundings while eating rather than concentrating on their phone, tend to choose healthier food options and do not overfeed themselves. And people who are present with the food while eating are able to appreciate what they eat and eat just short of being full!

5. Pick up a new hobby
Your health depends on both your mental and physical well-being. So, it’s essential to ensure that you have a peaceful mind besides a fit body. This new year choose a hobby that makes you feel happy, fulfilling, productive, interesting, and fills up your leisure time. It can be anything like reading, singing, photography, blogging or travelling as long as it helps you de-stress. Too much of television wastes the mind by bombarding it with predigested mental foods that do not provoke it to think.

6. Express your feelings
Every feeling, without exception, must be expressed. Unexpressed feelings pick the most vulnerable organ and express themselves in that organ to either lead to malfunctioning or total dysfunction, resulting in your having to finally have the organ surgically removed! When emotions are vented out in appropriate ways, you will feel healthy and stress-free. In fact stress is nothing but the effect of bottled up emotions.

7. Relax, relax, relax
The paradox in life is that the easiest thing to do is to relax. We become tense for little or no reason and create a huge burden on our health. Meditation and deep breathing are the best aids to calm ourselves, and to be at harmony with our inner selves. And a strong connection with this health facet is to have a good night’s sleep and wake up by 6 AM irrespective of whatever time you go to sleep. Retiring to bed should ideally be at around 10.30 pm every night.

Besides considering all these resolutions, make up your mind to stay optimistic this coming year and distance yourself from all types of negativities. This will not only lead you towards happier times, but will also keep you in great health throughout the year.

Remember that in the past diseases chose people, today we chose our disease. The choice is really ours: chose good living over misery and suffering.

There are three stages of caring for an expecting mother: prenatal, intranatal, postnatal care. This is essential to ensure smooth pregnancy and labour and to keep the mother healthy after giving birth. This care is a combined effort between the doctor and the expectant couple. Here are a few things to keep in mind if you are expecting an addition to your family.

Prenatal care from the moment you realize that you are pregnant, a woman must start taking extra care of her body. This reduces the risks in your pregnancy and at the time of labour. But even before planning a pregnancy, it is important that couples should consult with the doctor, in order to avoid any complications in future. Thus, you should ensure that regular check up not just during the pregnancy, but also before the pregnancy is equally important, so that your doctor can rule out complications arising due to factors, such as Thalassemia, Thyroid, Blood Sugar and PCOS, etc.

The main objectives of prenatal care are:

  • To maintain the health of the mother
  • Detect high risk cases
  • Foresee complications and find ways to prevent them
  • Reduce anxiety associated with delivery

Thus, an important part of prenatal care is to visit your gynaecologist regularly. These visits will be scheduled according to your age and stage of pregnancy. A few other points to keep in mind are:

  • Stop smoking and stay away from passive smoking as well
  • Stop drinking alcohol
  • Avoid contact with toxic chemicals like insecticides etc.
  • Ensure your vaccination is up to date
  • Avoid x-rays
  • Do not start or stop any medication without informing your doctor first
  • Eat healthy food and drink plenty of water
  • Exercise regularly for half an hour daily
  • Get plenty of rest
  • Avoid stress
  • Educate yourself about childbirth

Intranatal care refers to care given to the mother and baby at the time of delivery. The main objectives here are:

  • Cleanliness
  • Smooth delivery without injuring mother or baby
  • Preventing complications
  • Delivery resuscitation for the baby

There are a number of ways to deliver a baby and whatever you choose, you must ensure the presence of a doctor at your side, while delivering a baby. Your doctor will determine the position of the fetus and help you through your delivery.

Postnatal care is essential for 6-8 weeks after the baby is born. During this period, the mother goes through a number of physical and emotional changes and thus requires rest, nutrition and vaginal care. The main objectives here are:

  • Prevent postpartum complications
  • Restore mother to optimal health
  • Ensure problem free breastfeeding

Sharing responsibility is essential for the health of the mother, after delivery. Get as much sleep as possible and pay attention to what you eat. Do not try and lose your pregnancy weight instantly. Schedule a checkup with your doctor six weeks after delivery to ensure your vagina has healed properly. Additionally abstain from intercourse at this time. With proper care, every stage of your pregnancy can be a beautiful experience.

It solely depends on her condition as whether she is suffering from any discomfort or vaginal bleeding. Intercourse can be done but pregnancy should be avoided in the initial 3 -4 months.
