I have broken my front four teeth, and I have taken rootcanal treatment, I am not able eat anything. Now even my artificial teeth are also weak.

MDS(Prosthodontist), BDS
Dentist, Gurgaon
Anything artificial be it attificial limb or even tooth cannot restore or subsitute your natural ones. So, be careful what you eat with your artificial teeth and morever front teeth are not for eating do not bite with your front teeth on any hard food or raw vegetables or fruits ad it will further weaken your teeth.

Hello Cleaning may not be fine. Even after cleaning by dentist you have to follow cleaning procedures. Brush twice daily and use tongue cleaner and stop habit of chewing tobacco or any smoking will help. Regards Dr. Purva BDS.

I'm facing water in my mouth problem when I wake up so pls help me to solve this.

Although excessive saliva is not too common, there are a number of conditions that can cause it - some harmless, others more serious. It is possible that your saliva problems are just a result of the way you speak. Some people speak faster or slower than others, just as some people blink more often, breathe faster, or have a more rapid heartbeat. This may just be what's normal for you. Since it is negatively affecting your life, I suggest your problem can be ignored. However there are medical conditions that causes excessive salivation injection glycopyrrolate reduces secretions in the mouth, throat, airway, and stomach.

I'm a boy 16 years old I do brush every day then also I have a problem of halitosis. It is genetically please reply.

Dentist, Gurgaon
hello vijay, first of all I want you to to know that halitosis or bad breath is never genetic and is completely dependent on your oral hygiene. deposition of plaque and calculus around teeth cause gum infection, swollen gums and bleeding gums. this is one reason for bad breath. another reason is deposition of yellowish white layer over tongue. there are various other reasons like gastrointestinal health, fever, use of some medicines, Etc. I advise you to visit a dentist for professional cleaning of your teeth. then follow the instructions given by the dentist very strictly. brush twice a day along with tongue cleaning. rinse your mouth after every meal. drink lots of water.

Sir mere teeth me bahut sare kire lag rahe hai aur yellow bhi ho raha hai upaya bataye kya karu?

BDS
Dentist, Gurgaon
If cavity is not deep or there is no pain and sensitivity in the decayed tooth then go for restoration (filling) but if cavity is deep or there is pain and sensitivity in the decayed tooth then first get the X-RAY done of that tooth and send me the X-RAY picture for further diagnosis... I advice you go for scaling (professional tooth cleaning) to remove the extrinsic stains and then polishing and then bleaching (tooth whitening) so as to remove the intrinsic stains and improves the tooth shade.

At the age of 23 or 24 for girl the teeth straightening (Braces) is possible? It is effective or the teeth will be straight after completing treatment? How many months needed to complete treatment? What will be cost approximately?

BDS
Dentist, Jaipur
Relapse rate will be much higher if you get braces at late age. Most appropriate age would be till 21 years. Should go for other treatment options like as available in esthetic dentistry.

How to get rid of bad breath from mouth and how to prevent bleeding from teeth during nights?

MDS - Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dentist, Chennai
We need more investigations with clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need deep cleaning along with surgical, gum strengthening procedure. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash after every meals. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Taking a large no. Of medications often leads to a dry mouth. Increase your fluid intake or ask your dentist about an artifical saliva product or chew sugarless gum after a meal to keep your mouth moist.

By using a wire brush, gently clean between brackets (under the wires) to get the plaque off. It is very necessary to keep the mouth free from plaque during the orthodontic treatment.

I am 25 year old and having gum bleeding since last 05 years . It bleeds when brush also. Please suggest me treatment. There is black spots also appears since one year

MDS - Periodontics, Certified Implantologist, BDS
Dentist, Chandigarh
Hello Thanks for the Query Bleeding Gums are usually because of accumulation of plaque and tartar on tooth surfaces. If It's only Gingivitis than you need to undergo Scaling and root planning(Professional teeth cleaning) If it's phyorrea you need to undergo scaling as well as flap procedure depending upon the condition. For thet same Visit a Periodontist(GumSpecalist) He can help you better in this case. And do change your brushing technique as faulty/wrong technique leads to accumulation of plaque and tartar Thank you Dr.Aman Bhatia

The best treatment for you to get a whiter teeth and become disease free is to go for laminates. It is the best treatment for dental fluorosis. But if you have a budget, you can go for crown on your teeth. It will make your teeth stronger and aesthetically beautiful.
