White sticky vaginal discharge and burning sensation. What can I do? Too shy to go and get it checked by a doctor! Should I try the home remedies? Would garlic and yogurt (curd) work?

Dear user. I can understand. LEUCORRHOEA translates in modern medicine as a whitish or yellowish discharge of mucus from the vagina. Some of the most common causes of white vaginal discharge include: 1)Infections from bacteria, fungi or other parasites. 2). Injuries or trauma to the vagina, the womb or the cervix, which is very common during pregnancy. 3). Lack of cleanliness or poor hygienic measures. Discharge related with leucorrhoea (or other STDs like yeast infection, chlamydia and trichomoniasis) are generally foamy, greenish-white, foul-smelling and infectious. A proper diagnosis using vaginal swab is very important to diagnose the exact infection, before treatment can ensue. Please consult a gynecologist for clarification and then treatment. Take care.

Hello- If you have masturbated near your menses period, the blood might be the menstrual blood which must be out flowed during orgasm, however vaginal bleed other thn menses during orgasm can be due to over and aggressive masturbation. Rupture of internal mucous lining exposes the blood vessels during the act which can burst during orgasm. Reduce your masturbation frequency and give genitals some rest. Don't insert any rough or hard object in vagina during masturbation. Masturbate with start and stop technique.

You should visit a gynaecologist for this purpose, don't do self medication, before that you need to test your urine for pregnancy.

YOur baby has to be checked again and if positive he needs medication Normal” range for TSH can vary from Lab to Lab and is different for different for different labs. It is important to bear in mind the following when interpreting this test report. TSH can vary significantly at different times of the day. Although TSH is a good guide to diagnose thyroid disorder, it is not reliable parameter in itself or diagnosis nor for titrating the dose of thyroid replacement therapy. I always recommend checking FREE T3 and FREE T4 along with TSH. Sometimes low TSH could be due to pituitary causes. “NORMAL’ DOES NOT MEAN “OPTIMAL”. A large no of cases have TSH in the normal range but suffer from sub-clinical Hypothyroidism and needs to be treated. You also want to have your Free T3 and Free T4 run. They will be more accurate in measuring actual thyroid hormone. I would ask your ob to run the FT3/FT4 and then based on those results.

Pregnancy can happen only on one day of cycle- on day woman ovulates. Means you had only 4 trials of pregnancy that too if you had sex on or around that day. That is why you have to give 12-18-24 months chance to nature depending on age of your wife.
