It's a cause of concern at this age. Get checked for osteoarthritis, arthritis etc. Get blood for uric acid, ra factor, esr etc and x-ray of knees. Send report. For the time being start hot water pouring on knees and some local liniment may be massaged gently. Start yoga postures slowly. Reduce wt.

Hello. Maintain a right standing and sitting posture, keep your back always straight, avoid carrying weight on back. Hold or carry weight divided equally in both the hands or shoulders (to avoid over straining on one particular hand or shoulder). Lie down on bed on your back without pillow. Exercise: Practice Shavasana or Corpse Pose as it looks like a dead body. If practiced correctly and with full efforts, can relax every body part, relaxing not only the body but also the mind: Spread the legs one to two feet apart, the toes are turned outwards, the heels facing each other, a comfortable distance apart. Bring the arms a little away from the body, palms turned upward. Relax the neck and allow it to turn to the side if it is more comfortable. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the body, breathing normally. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Arnica 200 and Rhus Tox. 200 - take both of them thrice daily for 1 week. Also, apply Schwabe's Topi-Arnica and Topi MP Gel on the affected area in circular motions gently thrice a day. Get back to me thereafter.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines1. Calc fluor 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Conium 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. *use a small pillow. *take rest or move about once in 1-2 hours in case of working in a constant position. *maintain a good posture while reading or working with computers. *take a high fibre content diet like vegetables, fruits, etc. *don't lift heavy weight. *don't put hands under the head while sleeping.

I had a lower back injury since last 6 months for which I have been doing exercises told by physio but them it's been almost 6 months now the pain is vanishing very slowly slow than I expected and sometimes I feel a pinched sensation and little pain still sometimes maybe because of my daily activities is there anything to be worried will it cure automatically by resting and exercises or there might be some serious issue as sometimes the pain is still there towards left side from the center of lower back please help thanks I got the x ray done but the ortho said only to take rest and gave me an ointment to apply on back but it's been 6 months and pain is still there though little but there.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Nuts- peanut, almond, spinach, broccoli, green mustard and other green leafy vegetable. Tomato, red bell pepper sun flower seed, pumpkin seed and sesame (til) vegetale oils (olive oil, sun flower oil) egg yolk, whole grain, soybean fruits- papaya, mango, kiwi. Basil these are better sources of vit e, but I suggest instead you take in general a balanced diet which will be much useful to you rather than going for a particular type of food do following 1. No alcohol 3. No smoking 4. Diet - no ghee/ butter, have mix of vegetable oils - mustard, til, ground nut, olive oil, have more green vegetables and fruits, have whole grain atta, no fried. Fast. Spicy / processed/ junk food. Less sugar, potato, rice 5.30 mts walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 8. Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part--knee rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

*Avoid bending forward while working on lap top or for any other work. Don’t sit continuously working on laptop etc. Get up periodically and move around. *Restrict bike driving as far as possible. *Don’t carry laptop or any load on your shoulder. Carrying very light loads equally with both hands is better *Sit straight so that back bone gets proper support. A dining chair is better than a laid back sofa. *You can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *Soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. *Get yourself tested whether you have spondylitis problem. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Consult privately (Prime-Rs.149/)
