I am suffering from diabetes at the age of 15 years now I am 22 am using insulin every day what is the solution.
Hi lybrate-user, I hope you're doing. Diabetes is a lifestyle or genetic disease which can lead to several problems if not taken care of. Can I know which type of diabetes you have? Is it Type 1 (INSULIN DEPENDENT - FREQUENT INJECTION) OR TYPE 2 (ORAL MEDICATIONS? Now talking about lifestyle, you need to very careful about what you're putting inside your body. Our body is like a temple, if you take care of it religiously it will give you back positive feedbacks. Think like this. Now I can assure you if you've Type 2 diabetes it can be reversed following a change in your lifestyle in terms of DIET, SLEEP PATTERNS AND EXERCISES. Diet Key Points - 1) Try to eliminate simple carbs like bread, potatoes, pasta etc. 2) Replace carbs with good fats like avocado, macadamia oil, olive oil, desi ghee, eggs, cottage cheese etc. 3) Try to eat moderate amount of protein as it gives you a feeling of satiety and does not have much impact on blood sugar levels. For ex. Eggs, Chicken breast, Cottage cheese, Tofu etc. 4) Try to drink more water and keep yourself hydrated. Every individual needs are different and hence a whole diet plan needs to be customized according to one's lifestyle, blood reports and eating habbits to make sure they stay on the track without any hassle. For any more information or plans regarding diabetes you can connect with me and Ill be glad to help you. Thanks & Regards,

I recommend to control your sugar level 1) a healthy and well balanced diet having regular meals. Divide your meals into 5 to 6 times. 2) one teaspoon of methi seeds soaked overnight in 100 ml of water is very effective in controlling diabetes 3) good fats such as omega-3 and monounsaturated fats (mufa) should be consumed as they are good for the body. 4) diet should be high in fiber. Let whole grain cereals & flour, salad vegetables, green leafy vegetables & fruits be an integral part of your meals.
