Hi, of course, it might b postural disorder be rectified during sitting & sleeping. Take homoeo medicine: @ rhus tox 200-6 pills, thrice. @ arnica mont 200-6 pills, thrice a day. Avoid, junk food, cold intake & exposure to cold. Take, care.

Hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Core strengthening exercises. Take frequent breaks at work use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck.

Low Back Pain- A common modern day epidemic
We regularly come across, frequent questions about back pain, and it remedy.
The concern of the patient is more related to the fear of something wrong, rather than the pain itself, which may be quite bearable. Before you go to consult to your doctor for your back problem, go though the checklist mentioned here, and you will be easily able to make out if your problem needs treatment or a good physiotherapy and life style modification.

Lets start with the statics.
1) back pain the most common reason for people to consult physician.
2) majority of them (and believe me about 80 to 85%) are functional which means they are not a disease but are due to improper lifestyle.
3) 10 to 15% of them are related to some pathology, and only these patients need medical help.

I know the next question in your mind, how do I know if my back pain need further consultation from a doctor, or I just want to need a physio and life style modification.

If you have any of these signs then you need consultation with a doctor.
1) duration of back pain more than 2 months.
2) localized back pain with stiffness in the morning,
3) pain not getting resolved despite good physio efforts and life style modifications
4) pain in the back with radiation to one of the legs, ie leg pain with back pain.
5) back pain associated with fever, appetite loss, or weight loss.
6) back pain with pain mainly in the night, and it arises you from sleep.
7) any association of weakness in the legs or numbness on walking.

Posture correction while work is the major remedy for postural back pain and this group is quite large.
1) use firm mattress for rest. Not a very soft one.
2) adequate support to the back while sitting on the chair, back should be kept straight but not strained.
3) regular back muscle strengthening exercises is must with this group.

When your back pain is not functional, then a consultation with your doctor is a must, most of the time the first doctor we consult is a physician, these days people are getting aware and consult an orthopaedic or a neuro surgeon. My advise is to consult a spine surgeon who are trained specially to deal with such problems. The usual examination is followed by certain blood tests and radiological investigations, like x rays and mri scanning. Out of these pathological type majority will not need surgery.

Keep strengthening your back, and prevent back pain. Remember physiotherapy (exercises) are to be done to prevent back pain and not to cure it.

Respected doctors, I suffered on knee joint pain during waking use stair even wrest paid also and after that I am suffering on cerebral on last february 15 medicine continuing but I feel my both legs are very weight full and waking very slow than before. Let me know how to over come this type of disease.

Your description of ailment is not very clear. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

Try to move your head to left and right you will feel more pain on one side. Try not to sleep on that side. Find a good physio and treat yourself.

if the disc is large then you would require decompression for the symptoms u have described. otherwise the power may not recover completely.

Hello lybrate user, - look at the cause for your pain as you mentioned long time it's better to go for investigation like x-ray back bone, though your age is not a suggestive of degenerative changes - it's all lifestyle dependent issues, better to adopt good lifestyle - maintain posture while sitting studying sleeping - if you are in any sports that also counts here (need to know) - apply ksheerabala taila with sahacharadi taila and do hot fomentation for 15 min for 10 days, no oral medications are required if there is no degenerative changes

Dear user, it might be due to weakness and insufficient oxygenation to your muscles leading to pain. Also due to K,Na imbalance pain / crams arises. All you can do is take warm water bath or dip your feet fully in Luke warm water for sometime and take electrolytes along with these use a remedy Rhus Tox 200 twice for 5 days and then consult back for permanent restoration.

If you have a history of cervical problem, it may b related to that. For that you have to consult some good physiotherapist. Or there can b a muscular problem. For that take hot fermentation for 5 to 10 mins. Then take a small towel roll in your right hand and press it, hold it for 10 sec. Repeat this for 10 or 15 reps. It will hurt fot couple of days bcos your muscles r not habitual. If it hurts a lot take hot and cold fermentation 1 min each, 5 reps. Thank you.

Thee leg musscles pain hard due to muscular cramps.So to overcome this problem try warm up your body for 10-15 miutes before football and drink plenty of water daily nearly 6-8 glass daily water ass dehydration can also be the reason for your muscular cramps. Hello Sir I am 50 years old woman my weight is 50 kg. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis since last one year. As written on prescription OA knee. Doc wrote me rejoint and Vit D3 for three months. Which I had regularly. My knee pain is not very severe though. Kindly advice me If I need to take rejoint and vit D3 regularly or should I stop it after using it for three months? If your vit D level is within n normal limit then no need to take more supplements, so get the blood test repeated for the same and keep vit D level normal by sitting in sunlight for 10-15 min everyday, take milk, egg yolks, mushrooms. Besides that you should be doing knee strengthening exercise everyday after consulting a physiotherapist. Also omega 3 is good for joints. Can take fish, avocado,nuts for that.

Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari syrup and capsule twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.
