Neck pain occurs due to wrong posture or due to strain on your neck muscle. Check your posture, do not bend your neck excessively and when you work on your laptop or computer after half hour of working move your neck slowly in clockwise and anticlockwise direction. * do neck massage with lukewarm mustard oil. * do not take pillow of high hight during sleeping or avoid to take pillow. * in diet vegetable protein of cereal, b complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Knee advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting. Quadriceps exercises. Core strenthening exercises. Hams stretching. Sports taping hot fomentation.

I am 23 year old and I have a lump in lower back below the waist from almost last 2 year. In starting there was no pain but from last few days I am feeling that the lump is getting increase slowly and sometime felling pain also. Please suggest me what should I do.

Kindly show me digital x rays of ls. Spine sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days bio d3 max 1tab od do neck, back & shoulder exercises it may have to be further investigated you will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do reply back for detailed treatment plan. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem. The lump must be removed & sent for examination.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. There are many causes of swelling in the legs and foot region. Most common reason is postural and many patients develop it when they stand for a long time, but as soon as they elevate their leg up, the swelling subsides. It can happen after any injury which is a priority to diagnose and treat accordingly. Also there could be infection or inflammation which can lead to swelling. Sometimes heavy physical activity may also lead to swelling in your calf muscles. But we have to look at medical causes as well, chronic cardiac conditions can lead to swelling, any pathology which leads to low proteins in the body like deranged lft, kft etc can also lead to swelling. Hypothyroidism can also lead to generalized swelling like appearance in the body. So for accurate diagnosis we need to clinically evaluate and get appropriate tests: cbc, esr, crp, lft, kft, serum electrolytes and thyroid profile. Hello. Take homoeopathic medicine:- 1. Bryonia alba 30 (5 drops three times a day) 2. Kali phosphoricum 6x (5 tablets three times a day) take it with 15 mins gap. Do not take any thing half an hour before and after the medicine. Update me after one week with feedback.

Do have pull up for 25 times a day do take ift and vacuum therapy physiotherapy treatment for pain relief for 12 days followed by strengthening exercise from neuro physiotherapist best wishes.

Hello apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part and give hot water fomentation .take yograj guggul and agni tundi vati after lunch and dinner with warm water. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari capsule and syrup twice a day. Avoid fermented food. Junk food.

Severe knee pain at your age is commonly due to osteoarthritis which means degeneration of joint cartilage causing friction between joint surfaces, leading to pain and stiffness. Lifestyle modifications and physical therapy are important treatment aspects to maintain functionality. 1. Knee stretching and strengthening exercises to improve knee strength. 2. Avoid jogging or physical activity that increases knee pain. But absolute rest is not advised. Engage in activity like swimming or walking, but perform activity which is painless 3. Application of analgesic cream over knee and warm fomentation before exercises. Apply cold pack after exercises 4. Weight loss if obese. 5. Simple analgesics like paracetamol when pain is present. 6. When pain or disability is significant, viscoelastic injection or PRP injection inside the knee joint is helpful. I). Injections of Viscoelastic substance or artificial synovial fluid into knee joint. This decreases friction in joint space ii). Injections of Platelet rich plasma derived from patients own blood into the knee joint. This regenerates the knee joint. Iii). In patients with severe pain, genicular nerve block can be given to decrease pain. For above treatment consult a pain specialist. 7. In advanced cases Knee replacement is the only option.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - we will get some blood tests for you - serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp once you have all these reports then you can contact me as I can advise you for proper supplementation do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Firstly avoid toward bending and lifting heavyweight then start heat fermentation twice a day and apply pain relief ointment. Sit straight and start spine extension exercise.

for joint pain you should be test uric acid, calcium and vit.D. there is weakness so take coffee in the morning. and also take cap. multivitamin at night with milk. it minimised numbness in morning. take tab. dolo sos for pain.
