I got disc problem and sciatica last year, I am diabetic too for past 5 years. Now sciatica problem is under control but I am getting knee pain when I climb the stairs. I was getting treatment from Dr. Manoj Munjal at Gurgaon, thanks to him. Is it vitamin deficiency or something else, what remedy should I take to overcome knee pain.

Ok if your deficiency had completed by vit and now pain in knee during climbing stair. Then take a x-ray of bilateral knee. Muscle are stiff also. Tk heat fermentation twice a day. And apply any pain relief ointment on the pain area. Avoid strain. Roll a towel and put under knee then press for 10 second then release do 10 to 15 time both legs. If it work then ok otherwise x-ray or physiotherapy treatment must with your vit and calcium supplements.

Diabetes can be reversed by proper diet and lifestyle changes. Please go to a certified diabetic educator and get your diet fixed. Diet is first life style changes is next medicines is only last I cannot comment without getting a detailed history, lab results and medication list eat foods according to glycemic load. Stop white rice and wheat use brown rice, quinoa, amarynth, buck wheat etc

Warm foamentation. Don't take analgesic because it takes time. Ice pack in swelling area. Smooth movement of joint at regular intervals. Avoid load.

I am Rheumatoid arthritic and my right knee is bent, is it possible to make it straight? Also I need to know the foods to avoid. Please. Kindly help me.

In established cases of rheumatoid arthritis dmrd (disease modifying drugs) egmethotraxate, hcqs, lefunomide, saaz etc. Have to be used. They all are toxic drugs & can cause bone marrow depression along with other side effects. They should be taken under medical supervision. Kindly adjust the dose to minimum required, to control your symptoms. Have your tests done periodically to rule out any side effects. Kindly show me x rays of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Why not discuss with me in a video conference? (facility provided by lybrate. Com) also kindly show me x-ray of your affected knee.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart..

Massage the calf muscles with herbal or eculyptus oil. Then try this simple but effective acupressure exercise. Press the point on the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from toe in the foot 20 times by pressing and releasing with a blunt edge of a pen. Further rotate your foot clockwise and anticlockwise 10 times. Massage your leg with both hands.

Do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch.

I am experiencing a sensation like something is crawling up my right thigh for the past week. It occurs when I am standing and looking ahead or when reclining in a chair or lying down. However the sensation disappears when I bend forward when sitting or standing. I have cervical spondylosis but mild condition.

This sensation is due to the compression of the nerves caused by your spondylosis. A remedy would be to start back/core strengthening exercises as suggested by a good physiotherapist, take liberal amounts of vit. D and calcium through milk and eggs, non veg food if possible. We would need an xray of both the cervical and lumbar spine +/- mri of the spine to confirm the condition and suggest an appropriate cure to your condition. Hope this helps.

The best thing for you would be to drink lots of water. Atleast 4-5 litres a day! you may be having referred back pain cos of the kidney stones. Should go away with the stone removal.

Hello, Kindly follow advises given below 1.Avoid using computers continuously, take rest for 5 min after working for half an hour 2. In pain free interval do neck exercise (kindly learn exercise by registered Trainer) 3. you can use thin pillow while sleeping so that normal posture of neck can be maintained 4.Maintain proper posture of body while watching TV/ studying Kindly go for cervical X ray AP and lateral and review with reports Consult Physician for Further Management
