To gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects

I have a pain in my left leg calf muscles (from knee to ankle) and it become quite heavy .It has been for last 10 yrs. X_ray, MRI done but no any result come, Please suggest the good treatment.

When I do work or go to sun light then my skin gives pain and on the skin red red points type saw after 6-7 minutes I began fresh then how can I began in good condition.

*घर पर हर्बल नेचुरल डाई बनाने का तरीका*। क्या आप बाल काला करने के लिए डाई या केमिकल युक्त हानिकारक कलर इस्तेमाल करते हैं। *आइये जाने इसको बनाने की विधि*। आवश्यक सामग्री। 1. सूखी पीसी मेहँदी – 20 ग्राम 2. काफी पाउडर – 3 ग्राम 3. कत्था – 3 ग्राम 4. ब्राह्मी चूर्ण – 10 ग्राम 5. आंवला चूर्ण – 10 ग्राम 6. दही – 25 ग्राम 7. नीम्बू का रस – 4 चम्मच 1 से 5 तक सभी को कूट पीस कर आपस में मिला लीजये। आवश्यकता अनुसार मिला कर रख लीजिये। बाद में ५० ग्राम मिश्रित पाउडर में २५ ग्राम दही और ४ चम्मच नीम्बू का रस मिला कर बालो में आधे घंटे तक लगा कर रखे। फिर पानी से धो लीजिये। इसके प्रयोग से बाल काले घने तथा मुलायम हो जायेंगे। विशेष – कई बार पहली बार में तुरंत काले बाल नहीं होते। तो जब आप तीन चार बार इसको नियमित करेंगे तो आपके बाल प्राकृतिक रूप से काले दिखने लगेंगे।

I have been experiencing pain in my throat for last two months. My doc said that is vitamin b deficiency and that I had sore in my throat. He gave me antibiotics after which it was fine. But again I am feeling that pain. Also, I am falling ill frequently, especially cold n cough. Pls suggest a remedy.

My mother in law is 61 years old nd have thyroid she has taken thyronorm 50 mg and her TSH value has cm 17.3 than she has taken thyronorm 100 mg and her TSH value came 0.19 what will you suggest now.

Hello, at 0.19 milli units/l, is just below the lower limit. If the patient is feeling fine, there are no specific complaints then there is no need to do anything. However, if there are any symptoms suggesting hyperthyroid activity, then there may be a need to redcue the dose of thyroxine, by about 12.5 mcg per day. Then check tsh levels after 6 weeks. I am 17 years old and I am suffering from legs pain I have used many antibiotic creams but didn't get good results it is still paining so now what I do ?

: Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying Quadriceps strengthening exercises- Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

You should visit to orthopedic doctor for proper investigation for the cause of trouble and specific treatment. Maintain right posture of the body because most of the time cause of backache is postural. Eat calcium rich food. Avoid forward bending and overexertion of the spines. Rest on firm mattress. Dandruff can be treated with lotions and shampoo (not commercial ones). Some people do have more oily scalp which cause visible flakes which we cause dandruff.
