Dear lybrate-user
In addition to the routine pathology report that you have mentioned, additional testing (immunohistochemistry for ER/PR/Her 2neu) is required. Chemotherapy and anti-hormonal therapy are used in the stage of disease that you have mentioned. Exact decision should be taken after getting the IHC reort.

It must be mucus. Mucus is normally present in our colon. But sometimes there is excess of mucus formation. There are many reasons for it. One of the reasons is dietary. Avoid spicy, fried and junk food. Take plenty of water and fruits daily. Add some fibre like isafgole to your diet. I hope it should work for you. Thanks.

You will definitely face many complications after a hernia surgery, but certain measures can lead you to a speedy recovery. Your main aim must be to ensure you don’t get any infection. Avoid any jerking like sneezing or coughing. Some of the tips for speedy recovery are mentioned below:
- Apply ice to reduce pain: If you experience any form of swelling or pain, ice will help reduce it. Apply ice for 10-20 minutes in a day, and you will get your results. However, refrain from applying ice for too long. It might make the condition worse. Also, wrap up the ice in plastic or a piece of cloth and then apply it to the intended portion.
- Take regular medication: Patients experience fever and pain after a hernia surgery. To combat these, you can take prescribed medications from your doctor. Medications also aim in improving your immunity so that you do not get infections easily. Hence, the medications are not to be missed.
- Keep your wounds clean: The operated area must always be kept clean to prevent any form of infection. You must dress the wound daily and keep the incision points clean and dry. Change the dressing as your doctor has advised you to do. You can apply any antiseptic or any other cream but take your doctor’s permission first.
- Keep a pillow near you: When you get an urge to sneeze or an urge to a cough, just cover your incision with the pillow and do it.
- Maintain a proper diet: A proper diet plays a significant role in the recovery process. Consume fruits to replenish your storehouse of nutrients. Include high-fiber food in your diet so that you don’t have to suffer from constipation. You need to avoid constipation as much as you can. If food doesn’t work, you can take stool softeners. Constipation will lead to extra pressure on the cuts which can lead to bleeding.
- Wear loose clothing: Don’t wear tight pants or clothing that will stick to your skin. The waistbands must be loose and not tight.
- Avoid lifting weights: Don’t lift weights. Lifting weights will cause stress at the cuts and may even lead to rupture so avoid doing strenuous activities.
- Go for a small walk: As soon as you feel a bit better go for a little walk. You need to move your muscles otherwise they will become stiff.
- Don’t smoke: Avoid smoking after the surgery as it will hamper your breathing and circulation process.
- Check out for warning signs: Always keep an eye on your wounds. Report to your doctor as soon as you see bleeding or anything abnormal.
Follow the tips mentioned above, and you will see how fast you will recover. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a General Surgeon.

Homoeopathic cream
ANTIMARKS CREAM ( BIOVALLEY) Apply twice daily in circular fashion
Lemon Juice
A quick and easy solution is lemon juice. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. It’s easy to apply.
1. Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area.
2. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water.
3. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result.
If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above.
2. Buttermilk
Buttermilk is also beneficial in getting rid of dark spots. Like lemon juice, it also helps fade blemishes and black spots but without causing burning sensation.
1. Take four teaspoons of buttermilk.
2. Add two teaspoons of fresh tomato juice.
3. Mix the two ingredients (both have excellent bleaching properties) and then apply.
4. Wash it off after 15 minutes.
The lactic acid in milk too, will gradually reduce skin pigmentation, and brighten and tone your overall skin complexion. So, if you do not have buttermilk, simply apply soak a cotton ball in milk and dab it directly on your spots. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and then wash it off Put milk on a cotton ball and dab it directly on your spots. Repeat this procedure twice daily for four to five weeks.
You can also prepare a solution by mixing milk and honey and apply the solution to your dark spots, leaving it on for 10 minutes.
