Ask Free Question
Oxygen is necessary to rejuvenate aging and dull skin. Oxygen facial therapy opens all clogged pores of your face through all the layers. It helps to reduce and eliminate problems like wrinkles, fine lines and acne. Oxygen facial therapy gets the skin on your face to breathe and makes it radiant. Following is the information you need to know to consider Oxygen facial therapy:

1. The Oxygen levels tend to drop since the age of 25 and by 40 at least 50% of the skin's Oxygen retaining capacity gets impaired. When the skin lacks Oxygen the blood vessels get constricted and it adversely affects the skin's ability to function normally.
2. Dull and aging skin can't be covered up with makeup or following skin care regimen after a certain point of time. Stress, lack of sleep, hormonal imbalance, unhealthy lifestyles etc can take a toll on your skin.

Benefits of Oxygen facial therapy
1. Oxygen facial therapy can increase the benefits of other topical application of skin care products exponentially
2. It increases the elasticity of the skin along with the strength of collagen
3. It increases the number of red blood cells
4. It makes your skin more supple and radiant
5. It acts as a stimulator for the immune system
6. Aids in restricting capillary damage and increases blood flow
7. Increases the ability of the skin to heal
8. Gives you an even skin tone
9. Diminishes inflammation and reddish appearance of the skin
10. Helps to heal wounds on the skin

Hi. Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i.e., cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 20 days. Also, use Bakson’s Apricot scrub 1-2times a week on the area.

A quick and easy solution can be found in your kitchen or your nearest grocery store — lemon juice. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. It’s easy to apply. Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. 1. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water. 2. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result. If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above.

Winter Skin

Winter is upon us, which can mean dry, itchy, chapped skin. As a result you might have to change your routine up to compensate for the lack of moisture in the cold air, and for the amount of time we spend inside with heaters on full blast.
What Causes Winter Skin?
Itchy dry skin is a very common during the cold winter months when we tend to take long hot showers and wear clothes more prone to cause irritation. When skin becomes dehydrated and irritated, it loses its flexibility and begins to crack and itch.
Winter Skin Care?
For some people winter can change everything about the look and feel of their skin while for others nothing might change. A little effort and care can be the difference that your skin needs to show you its better, healthier side.
Here are five ways to care for your skin during the winter months:
Protect your skin
The most common skin care myth is that you can’t get sunburned during the winter months. Sunlight is always sunlight, regardless of the season. Wear sunscreen no matter how cold or warm it is, since sunlight is always there and sun-damaged skin has minimal ability to function normally. The damage can lead to a host of other problems that may keep your skin from looking its best.

Moisturise
Use a well-formulated moisturiser. It should contain ingredients that help keep the water in the skin. Keep in mind that a lotion or a cream is best for dry skin, which is especially common in winter months. Apply a moisturiser after showering or bathing, since skin is more vulnerable after it is clean. The sooner you moisturise, the better.

Humidify
Indoor heat saps moisture from the room and pulls natural water from your skin. The cause of most weather-related dry skin is low humidity. Humidifiers are relatively inexpensive, last a long time and can keep your skin breathing during the night. Even placing a bowl filled with lukewarm water on top of the radiator can help add moisture into the air.

Take care of your hands
Cracked and painful skin on the hands can be a big nuisance. To prevent your hands from drying out in the cold air, apply moisturiser after hand washing or at least several times throughout the day. Keeping a bottle of lotion in your desk at work can help you to remember to care of your hands. Don’t forget that your nails can become dry just like the skin, so make sure to moisturise every part of your hands.

Protect your lips
Your lips are often the first to surrender to cold winter air. Apply a lip moisturiser as often as you can. Avoid products with menthol or phenol that can irritate the skin. Choose the most emollient balm you can find to keep your lips protected.

As winter rolls in we need to take extra care of our skin to keep it hydrated and protected. There’s no need to surrender to the harsh weather and there are a number of ways to carry your skin towards a gentler summer. Remember that caring for your skin is an investment that can pay off in the long run.

Hi White spots are due to multiple diseases. They range from idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis to vitiligo. From so much history, I gather its not a congenital problem instead an acquired one. Consultation is very integral in solving this problem.

Hello, it can't be avoided, like you cannot avoid water from becoming ice in a freezer. The only way to avoid is to not getting wounded or hurt. The more you peel the dried skin, it will bleed and the same thing will repeat. Put ointment again and again to make it heal fast.

Apply castor oil under eyes, massage it for 1-2 minutes regularly use rose herbal face pack or take multani mitti 1 tablespoon add 1/4th tablespoon of jaiphal powder and 1/4th tablespoon of turmeric. Make a paste of it by adding raw milk to it. Apply it on skin and wash it before it gets completely dry or after 20 mins. Use almond oil after it for moisturizing the skin. My skin is getting darker and darker day by day. I don't prefer to go in sunlight as it makes my skin tan. Some of my friend has suggested me to have coconut water daily in morning so I started that but don't know its a myth or it actually works. Can you please guide? Whether tea is harmful for skin? Does it actually makes skin dark? Guide me regarding remedies which makes my skin fair or anything which I should avoid to stop making it more dark. Thank you so much in anticipation.

Hello lybrate-user, you can use gel based sunscreen lotions. Ultraviolet rays are present even on a cloudy day so it is important to wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen every day. That is because ultraviolet light reaches the earth's surface and the surface of your skin at all times. Melasma can be treated by skin creams which can be prescribed only by a dermatologist after complete history and examination. If the topical creams do not work then we have laser therapy. There are various kind of laser therapy is available but which one is most suitable for your can only be suggested by a dermatologist. A series of laser treatments may be necessary. It usually requires 6 or more treatments two weeks apart. Each patient is unique and requires a different number of treatment sessions. The number of treatments depends on how dark the discoloration is, how deep the pigment is and the natural color of the skin.

Dear, follow these tips to get natural colour of lips - * first avoid eating items containing artificial colours and preservatives like ice creams, pastries, soft drinks and eat natural foods more. * apply milk cream or milk fat (desi ghee) on lips for 15-20 minutes. * do not rub or press the lips again and again because lips are very sensitive and rubbing raise lip redness & swelling. * take anti allergic medicine like cetrizine or any other instantly only after checking with a physician. * wash your lips with lukewarm water containing a pinch of salt. Fill your mouth with this water and take out after 30-40 seconds. Repeat it for atleast 2-3 times to get relief from swelling. * avoid eating very cold foods like ice cream and high chilly food items. Inform for more details.
