Dear lybrate-user. Beautiful skin requires commitment, not a miracle. Only creams are not effective in getting fair skin. Laser sessions are also required. Once the desired results are achieved, the effects have to be maintained. Please visit a Cosmetologist with an advanced technology and an expertise in it.

5 Useful Tips to Prevent Hair Fall

Trichologist, Delhi
5 Useful Tips to Prevent Hair Fall

Hair fall is influenced by a number of factors including a poor diet, unhealthy lifestyle, poor circulations, stress etc. Hence the best way to treat this condition is not with topical products but by attacking the root cause  and living a healthier lifestyle. Here are some things you could do to prevent hair fall.

1. Have a well-balanced diet

Your diet plays a crucial role in keeping your hair healthy. When your body faces a deficiency of a certain nutrients they are taken away from hair and diverted to other organs. Hence, hair are the first to see the effects of nutritional deficiencies. Hair are primarily made up of protein and hence a deficiency of protein can cause breakage and hair fall. Along with proteins, one must also include plenty of vitamins B and C, zinc, copper and iron in our daily diet. This nourishes the hair and strengthens it.

2. Drink plenty of water

Biotin is one of the most important vitamins responsible for healthy hair. This vitamin is water soluble and hence in order for it to be well absorbed by the body, you must drink plenty of water.

3. Massage your scalp

An oil massage can do wonders for your scalp. It not only keeps the scalp from drying out, but also improves blood circulation. Improved blood circulation helps increase the oxygen count in blood and ensures that nutrients reach your hair roots.

4. Fight stress

Stress is one of the leading cause of premature greying and hair loss. Stress can affect hair loss both directly and indirectly. By disrupting the hair growth cycle it can cause excessive hair fall. It can also reduce your appetite and hence keep you from getting the nutrition necessary for healthy hair. Thus, it is important for you to find a way to deal with stress effectively. Meditation and regular exercise are great ways to beat stress.

5. Get a good night’s sleep

Hair are very sensitive to physiological and emotional changes such as a weakened immune system, hormonal imbalances, physical and mental stamina etc. Not getting adequate sleep can affect all these factors and hence indirectly harm your hair. Poor quality sleep also increases the effects of stress on the body. Hence pay attention to how much sleep you are getting. Create a routine and go to sleep and wake up at the same time every day. Darkening your room and abstaining from watching television or working on your laptop before you go to bed can also make it easier for you to fall asleep.

Now, No Hair Fall Worries!!

Trichologis
Trichologist, Delhi
Now, No Hair Fall Worries!!

Did you know that approximately 40% of women never expect to face the challenge of hair loss or baldness. Fine hair is both a precursor for and consequence of hair thinning in women in India. Women who experience hair loss have a disproportionately high rate of fine hair before they start losing hair. Typically, your hair is at its thickest by age 20. Once you pass age 20, however, your hair gradually begins to thin, shedding more than the normal 40-100 hairs each day. Hence, in such a case, when you notice that your hair is falling at an uncontrollably fast pace and that your growth of hair is relatively lower than the hair fall rate, then it is time you should consider doing something fruitful to help it.

1. Importance of nutrients in maintaining the hair

Our fast lives coupled with unhealthy diet don’t allow our body to receive all the nutrients required for keeping up healthy skin and hair. Just like our body requires protein and vitamins for proper growth and functioning, our hair also requires minerals and vitamins along with other essential micro nutrients for the optimum growth of hair.

2. Loss of nutrients

Hair is made up of proteins and when you use heat to dry the hair or color the hair, it strips off the nutrients in the hair. This loss of micro nutrients and vitamins slows down the process of hair growth, ultimately leading to hair fall. Also, everyday usage of shampoos causes more harm than one can imagine. Over 90% of shampoos in the market have sulfates, and many pieces of research cite this to be one of the major reasons for hair fall.

3. The solution to hair fall worries

Clearly, the lifestyle and habits are not in favor of healthy growth of hair. However, there is an easy solution to this problem. HAiROOTZ is a balanced consolidation of multiple nutrients, such as proteins, vitamins, minerals and healthy enzymes which help in contributing healthy hair. HAiROOTZ Soflets contain essential minerals like selenium, zinc, and iron and vitamins, such as biotin, folic acid, and calcium which provide your hair nutrition from within

With HAiROOTZ to help you in preventing hair loss, you will see that the problem of thinning of hair is slowly reducing. It will also contribute towards making your scalp healthier and fend off different types of hair problems so that you can flaunt your beautiful hair. For best and visible results, you must take the soflets at least once a day for three to four months.

What is Diaper Dermatitis and How to Treat it?

MBBS, Diploma In Dermatology And Venerology And Leprosy (DDVL)
Dermatologist, Raigarh
What is Diaper Dermatitis and How to Treat it?

Babies go through a host of problems that we usually refer to as growing pains. This article is of special importance to most mothers who are going through myriad problems like colic, teeth and even diaper rash. Diaper rash is known as diaper dermatitis in medical terms. When the skin of the area within the diaper becomes red and goes through inflammation, it is known as diaper dermatitis. Read on to know more about the condition, and how it may be treated.

Symptoms: The most obvious and common symptom of diaper dermatitis is the signs on the skin which will bear a patchwork of red blotches that may look tender to touch. The baby will also seem more irritable and cranky as the discomfort and pain starts to grow every time the diaper rubs against the rashes. Bleeding, itching and oozing can also occur, in which cause it is imperative to consult a doctor immediately. Also, if the rashes are accompanied by fever, one must get it checked as there may be chances of an infection. Diaper rashes can also cause pain during bowel movements and a burning sensation during urination.

Causes: There are a number of reasons for the occurrence of diaper rashes. Trying out a new product may sometimes give the baby a rash as the sensitive skin of the child may not take to some ingredient. Therefore, it may develop as an allergic reaction. This new product may be a cream, lotion or a new brand or type of diapers. Further, sometimes when we introduce new foods, the baby’s skin may erupt into rashes as a part of an allergic reaction. Also, chaffing or rubbing may cause such rashes, while prolonged use of the diaper without a change is known to be one of the most common causes of this condition. Bacterial or yeast infection can also cause diaper dermatitis. Also, antibiotics can cause rashes as a side effect.

Diagnosis: The diagnosis of the condition is usually done by a dermatologist or a paediatrician based on the symptoms that you list out as well as physical examination of the area. The doctor may also check the baby’s temperature in order to ascertain if there is any fever or any chance of an infection.

Treatment: One should keep the baby’s skin dry and absolutely clean at all times. Also, it would be recommended to use cloth diapers for a few hours a day so that the skin may get a chance to breathe. Further, the doctor will prescribe mild hydrocortisone ointments. Antifungal creams may also be used in case there is an infection. Oral antibiotics may also be prescribed in such cases.

Whenever I masturbate, pimples come on my face on next day. How can it be prevented. Please help.

Reparenting Technique, BA, BEd

Whenever I masturbate, pimples come on my face on next day. How can it be prevented. Please help.
No connection between the pimples and masturbation. Masturbation is not really bad; it is the addiction to it that is bad. Not even the number of years is a problem but the frequency and compulsiveness to do it is to be considered for its ill-effects. At your age you may feel it difficult and it can become addictive if you have alone time, if you obsess about it, and if you are not into relationships. The problem with addiction to this is that you may go on to prefer masturbation to heterosexual contact, even when you are married. That obviously would be an insult to your wife and will lead to a lot of conflict. Heterosexual contact is very wholesome and the physiology is made exactly for penile and vaginal contact. You will instead enjoy a poor replica of this and not know or care for the difference. The second thing that can happen with addiction is that it will become compulsive and will have no boundaries or limits, since it can be done all by yourself, whenever, wherever, and however too. The big problem a lot of children get into is the guilt around this. A useful way to discharge the energy is to get into contact games, or exercises, or even hobbies to channelize it. Also you should not spend too much time alone, and you need to keep your mind occupied with other interesting things and a lot of socializing. Even if you are not interested in marriage, for whatever reasons, it will help you to get into a friendship with a girl and enjoy the relationship where there will be a lot of excitement when you fall in love. Right now your hormones may be very active and your physiological apparatus is primed and ready for sexual stimulation. But because of your age and even otherwise it is important to develop good control and not feed into your impulses. Keeping yourself occupied and living a healthy social life are the keys to manage your sexual drives.

There are many modalities of treatment for keloids. However none is full proof. Keloids have a tendency to recur. So it is best if you could discuss all the pros and cons of all the treatments with your plastic surgeon or dermatologist. Intralesional therapy meaning injection of certain medicines either singularly or in combination are known to have good result.

The exact cause of acne is unknown, several related factors are: Hormonal activity supposed to be responsible, such as menstrual cycles and puberty. Increase in hormones called androgens (male sex hormones), which causes sebaceous glands to enlarge and make more sebum. Hormonal changes related to pregnancy can also cause acne. Another factor is heredity or genetics. Researchers believe that the tendency to develop acne can be inherited from parents. For example, studies have shown that many school-age boys with acne have a family history of the disorder. Accumulation of dead skin cell. Bacteria in the pores, to which body becomes allergic. Skin irritation or scratching of any sort will active the inflammation. Starting or stopping birth control pills. Heredity (if your parents had acne, you might get it too). Some types of medicine. Greasy makeup. Homoepathic treatment cures it without side effects permanently. Consult me by clicking on consult option for homoepathic treatment.
