Sir, I wish to change my medicine for bp which I am taking in morning. Its valzaar 40 (valsartan). Night amlodipine. Morning medicine is costly. I started taking medicine when I was at qatar. There this medicine was available common and I was under insurance. But I am back now in kerala, india. So here the medicine is expensive and not so common. Can you prescribe an alternate medicine. When I took lercadip (not so sure abt the name) it did not suited me.
I am taking valsartan 40 mg in morning and amlodipine 5 mg night for BP. I heard that valsartan tabs contains impurities which cause cancer. If yes can you prescribe an alternate medicine.
I am a hypertensive patient. My BP remains 180/100 even after taking 4 different types of HP control medicines. Now my doctor prescribed Febutaz40 along with all other HP Medicines. My serum uric acid is 7.1. Should this medicine will be able to control my BP. What is the reasons that my BP remains so high after taking so many drugs. Does it happen to anybody? What should I do. Pls. Advise.
Coronary artery disease has a number of well determined risk factors. The diagnosis of coronary disease underlying particular symptoms depends largely on the nature of the symptoms. Up to 90% of cardiovascular disease may be preventable if established risk factors are avoided.
