Typically some result will be seen poatoperatively. However the final result will be visible in a month or two the surgeon needs to see the child after a couple of months to advise for glasses or exercise postop.

How To Improve Your Eye Health?

There are many common measures people take to improve their eyesight or improve their vision, including wearing glasses, lenses, and many more. Here are some effective exercises which can prove to be highly beneficial to improve your eye health:

1. Stretching
This is the most common and also one of the easiest to do. It requires you to just look up, hold for two seconds, look down, hold for two seconds and then repeat this procedure for each corner of your eye, which means top-left, top-right, bottom-left and bottom-right corners.

2. Flexing
This is simply rotating your eyes in circles. Roll your eyes in the clockwise direction for one minute and then roll your eyes in the anti-clockwise direction for one minute.

3. Focus switching
This particular eye exercise is probably the most useful one to improve eye health. In this eye exercise, you have to hold something at a reading distance and cover the other eye. You then have to find something that is at least twenty feet away and trace its shape with one eye closed. With one eye closed, trace more shapes which are twenty feet away.

4. Palming
This exercise is also very simple to perform. All you have to do is cover your eyes with your palms. Once you have done this, just wait and see that there are no bright flashes of light. If you see that there is a bright flash of light, just wait till they go. This is used primarily to distress the eyes.

5. Deep blinking
This is also an incredibly useful exercise for distance vision. What you have to do is to place some large letters are at a fair distance and then sit on a chair. You have to then close your eyes and tighten all your muscles for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds are over, you have to open your eyes and then you have to see the letters for a second or two. The more number of times you do this, the more clearly you will be able to see the letters after reopening your eyes.

However, these eye exercises are not universally accepted by all doctors.

आँख हमारे शरीर का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण अंग है. यह जितना महत्वपूर्ण है उतना ही सेंसेटिव होता है. इसलिए आपको आँखों को विशेष रूप से ख्याल रखना चाहिए. बदलते जीवनशैली और पर्यावरण में बढ़ते प्रदुषण के कारण आंखों को बहुत ज्यादा नुकसान होता है. आँखों के खराब होने के कई कारण हो सकते है, इससे निदान पाने के लिए लोग ज्यादातर चश्मा का सहारा लेते है.एक बार चश्मा लगाने के बाद फिर पूरी जिंदगी चश्मा लगाना पड़ता है. लेकिन आजकल के उन्नत तकनीक ने चश्मे का बोझ उतरने का विकल्प ला दिया है. अब आप चश्मे के बजाए लेसिक सर्जरी का विकल्प अपना सकते है. डॉक्टर अब लेसिक आई सर्जरी का सुझाव दते है और लोग इसका अनुसरन भी कर रहे हैं. हालाँकि, लेसिक सर्जरी के कुछ नुकसान भी है, जिसे नजरअंदाज नहीं करना चाहिए. आइये जानते है लेसिक सर्जरी क्या होता है और इसके फायदे और नुकसान क्या है.

लेसिक सर्जरी आंखों में मौजूद डिफेक्ट्स को दूर करने के लिए किया जाता है. यह आपको दूर दृष्ट और नजदीक की दृष्टि को ठीक करने के लिए किया जाता है. लेकिन जिन लोगो की आँख पूरी तरह से खराब हो गयी है, वह लेसिक सर्जरी के लिए योग्य नहीं है. हालंकि, लेज़र आई सर्जरी कराने के बाद भी कुछ मरीजों को रात में वाहन चलाते समय चश्मा लगाने की जरुरत पड़ सकती है. लेसिक सर्जरी के लिए ज्यादा समय नहीं पड़ती है. इसके लिए आपको 1 से 2 घंटे लग सकते है और सर्जरी की प्रक्रिया को पूरी करने में 15 मिनट लगते है. सर्जरी के बाद आँख को रिकवर होने में 8 घंटे का समय लगता है. सर्जरी के बाद आँखों में कुछ समय के लिए खुजली या जलन या फिर आँखों से असामान्य रूप से आंसू निकल सकते है. जो आँखों के ठीक होने के संकेत होते है.

लेसिक सर्जरी के फायदे
1. इसका सबसे बड़ा फायदा यह है की अधिकाँश मरीजों को बेहतर आँखों की रौशनी प्राप्त हो जाती है.
2. इस सर्जरी में बहुत कम समय लगता है और रिकवरी का समय भी बहुत कम है.
3. इसमें मरीज को किसी तरह का असुविधा का सामना नहीं करना पड़ता है और प्रक्रिया पूरी तरह से दर्द रहित है.
4. रोगी को चश्मे से पूरी तरह से आजादी मिल जाती है.
5. यदि उम्र ढलने पर आँख खराब होती है तो इसे सुधारा भी जा सकता है.
6. सर्जरी के बाद आँखों को ठीक होने में बहुत कम समय लगता है.

लेसिक सर्जरी के नुकसान
लेसिक सर्जरी के फायदे तो है लेकिन कुछ नुकसान भी है जिसे दोबारा ठीक नहीं किया जा सकता है. आइये लेसिक सर्जरी के नुकसान पर नजर डालें.


1. लेसिक सर्जरी एक जटिल प्रक्रिया है, इसमें आँखों की रौशनी जाने का भी खतरा होता है.
2. सर्जरी के दौरान कॉर्निया में होने वाले परिवर्तन को दोबारा उसी स्थिति में नहीं लाया जा सकता है.
3. कई मामलें में सर्जरी के दौरान कॉर्निया के लटके हुए टिश्यू के काटने से आँखों के रौशनी की रौशनी खतरा होता है.
4. लेसिक सर्जरी हर किसी के लिए संभव नहीं है और सभी डॉक्टर इस सर्जरी को करने में सफल नहीं होते है, तो सर्जरी करवाने से पहलें लेसिक सर्जरी से होने वाले नुकसान को भी जान लें.

If visual acuity is less, you may be having amblyopia. Since you say it's latent squint, if wearing glasses correct it, that is the non surgical way.
