Ayurvedic Remedies For Constipation!

Consuming less fiber, low intake of water or having too much of junk and spicy food lead to constipation, which is very irritating and makes you feel lethargic. Less exercise and a side effect of certain medications can also result in constipation.

Whatever may be the cause behind it, you can easily relieve yourself from this stomach ailment without consuming any drugs. It can make you miserable and it is medically defined as less than three stools a week or worse. Daily bowel movement is essential to keep healthy and feel fresh.

You can try these natural treatments to relieve your discomfort and keep it at bay:

  1. Yogurt: It is an excellent source of probiotics which contain beneficial bacteria. Yogurt is a great remedy for constipation. You can consume it daily to keep constipation at bay.
  2. Baking Powder: Baking powder has an alkalizing effect and eases movement through bowels. Add a teaspoon to cup of warm water and drink it quickly for best results.
  3. Oatmeal Tea: When constipation is severe, this remedy is the best. Oatmeal is fibrous, Honey is healing and moisturizing, and Chamomile is an anti-inflammatory agent which soothes the stomach. Together, they can cure severe constipation. So, take a cup of water and add three teaspoons of oatmeal, a Chamomile tea bag and two teaspoons of honey. Drink 2-3 times a day if your problem is severe.
  4. Lemon: Lemon contains citric acid, which has the ability to stimulate the function of digestion in your body. The action of lemon on your digestive system enables it to get rid of the toxins and undigested material that generally accumulates on the colon's (the last part of your small intestine) walls, giving rise to constipation as a result. Collect the juice of 1 lemon in a cup by squeezing it. Fill the rest of the cup with warm water. Drink it every morning.

You have not mentioned about your job and its nature eating home food /outside food veg/ non veg Change your diet and lifestyle stop cows mik-it will do more harm than good. Do not get fooled by actors drinking milk and Indian mythological movies showing you will become strong is all 100 percent false. They are all marketing gimmicks Drink lot of fluids eat plant based diet High fibre diet with fruits and veggies Keep moving do basic blood tests to rule out causes of constipation never take medicines for constipation If you want to relieve constipation naturally without medicines and want to watch the videos why milk is only good for Calfs- Young cow and not for humans send a feedback with name and contact number and take a consult trough Lybrate if needed. Don't use b peroxide regularly, it is a suspected carcinogenic compound, you can try homoeopathic treatment which is safest and surest way to cure your problem.

Acne problem occurs in young adolescents. The disease is seen in the face, chest, back and shoulders Mouth of sebaceous follicles become clogged with sebum and epithelial debris (blackhead or comedo) Comedones become infected and pustular, leaving scars on healing. Diet & Lifestyle Advice Low-fat milk is recommended. Boil milk before drinking. Drink it warm. This makes it easier to digest. Do not take milk with a full meal or with sour or salty foods. Add a pinch of turmeric or ginger to the milk before boiling it. This helps to reduce the kapha increasing qualities of the milk. Lighter fruits, such as apples, oranges, grape fruit, pineapple and papaya and pears, are recommended. Sweeteners: Honey is excellent for reducing kapha. Reduce the intake of sugar products, which increase kapha. Beans are recommended. Nuts should be avoided. Grains such as barley, chickpea and millet are recommended. Do not take too much wheat or rice, as they increase kapha. Spices are recommended only in moderate quantities. Vegetables such as potaotoes and sweet potatoes should be avoided as they can cause weight gain. Follow a lifestyle that will not aggravate any dosha. Negative feelings like stress and tension should be avoided. Do not undertake physical or mental work beyond your capacity. Limit the use of contraceptives. Follow an active lifestyle, yet the exercises should be according to one's capacity. Both, excessive fasting and overeating are harmful. There is no relationship between blood & acne. Some have tendency to have acne which is collections of sebum within skin pores, continuing to adulthood. Most of the time condition is hereditary, you need internal proper homoeopathic medication. No lotion or cream do permanent cure, even acne scars goes away by treatment.

Hi doctor's, My brother is 33 year old ,and his height is 5'4"and weight is 69 kgs, have done a lipid profile test recently. The test results are the cholesterol level normal but triglycerides showing 217. So please suggest is he needs a medical attention or not. Diet & Lifestyle Advice Wash hair regularly 2-3 times a week with a mild shampoo. Massage your hair with oil every time before washing the head and hair. Avoid spicy, greasy, hot and penetrating foods, junk food, and aerated drinks. Have food with good nutritive value; include fiber-rich foods, salads, fruits, and lentils. Do regular yoga and exercises to minimize stress levels. Avoid scratching the scalp with hands or any other objects. If you want more better treatment consult me.

This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain. •Standing hamstring stretch: Place the heel of your injured leg on a stool about 15 inches high. Keep your knee straight. Lean forward, bending at the hips until you feel a mild stretch in the back of your thigh. Make sure you do not roll your shoulders and bend at the waist when doing this or you will stretch your lower back instead of your leg. Hold the stretch for 15 to 30 seconds. Repeat 3 times. •Cat and camel: Get down on your hands and knees. Let your stomach sag, allowing your back to curve downward. Hold this position for 5 seconds. Then arch your back and hold for 5 seconds. Do 3 sets of 10. •Quadruped arm/leg raise: Get down on your hands and knees. Tighten your abdominal muscles to stiffen your spine. While keeping your abdominals tight, raise one arm and the opposite leg away from you. Hold this position for 5 seconds. Lower your arm and leg slowly and alternate sides. Do this 10 times on each side. •Pelvic tilt: Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Tighten your abdominal muscles and push your lower back into the floor. Hold this position for 5 seconds, then relax. Do 3 sets of 10. •Partial curl: Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor. Tighten your stomach muscles. Tuck your chin to your chest. With your hands stretched out in front of you, curl your upper body forward until your shoulders clear the floor. Hold this position for 3 seconds. Don't hold your breath. It helps to breathe out as you lift your shoulders up. Relax. Repeat 10 times. Build to 3 sets of 10. To challenge yourself, clasp your hands behind your head and keep your elbows out to the side. •Gluteal stretch: Lying on your back with both knees bent, rest the ankle of one leg over the knee of your other leg. Grasp the thigh of the bottom leg and pull that knee toward your chest. You will feel a stretch along the buttocks and possibly along the outside of your hip on the top leg. Hold this for 15 to 30 seconds. Repeat 3 times. •Extension exercise: Lie face down on the floor for 5 minutes. If this hurts too much, lie face down with a pillow under your stomach. This should relieve your leg or back pain. When you can lie on your stomach for 5 minutes without a pillow, then you can continue with the rest of this exercise.
